MASTERPIECE OF MARINE ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING AND QUALITY

'' Full-Aluminium Displacement Hull under 500GT'

Custom Line 50 first aluminium 1
Ancona, December 18, 2024

Custom Line 50, the first 50-metre superyacht built entirely from aluminium, is the new displacement flagship and makes her debut in the metal yachts segment under 500 GT.
The superyacht, 49.90 m long and 9.60 m in the beam, extends across four decks and introduces some innovative construction and design solutions, such as the owner’s suite in the bow on the upper deck, reserved exclusively for the owner, and the beach club with infinity pool integrated into the main deck, a unique 120-square-metre convivial space in close contact with the water.
The liveable spaces on board cover over 800 square metres, of which 324 square metres of exteriors. The generous volumes, usually found on much larger boats, are the result of careful development to deliver maximum on-board privacy for owner and guests.
With a draught of 2.2 metres, the yacht is ideal for cruising and mooring in shallow waters such as those in the Caribbean.

The project is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard Engineering Department, based like the shipyard in Ancona. Custom Line 50’s exteriors are designed by architect Filippo Salvetti and the project architecture and interiors – completely made to measure – are by Studio ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The yard’s project management team, made up of engineers, architects and technical specialists, walked the customer through the entire process, from signing the contract through to handover, playing a strategic role in implementing the customer’s vision. The result is a project permeated by refinement and sophistication, as well as pointing up one of the brand’s core values, the reimagination of marine tradition through a contemporary lens.

The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in a master suite and in four cabins on the lower deck. Another five cabins are designed to ensure maximum comfort for the nine crew members.

The exterior styling is inspired by a timeless classical design language, with clean, simple lines and a horizontal sweep that gives the yacht a sporty character but without compromising the sense of harmony.

Custom Line 50 redefines the standards of yacht design by introducing an unprecedented feature for the segment: a deck devoted entirely to the owner, something usually found only on ships over 60 metres long. The layout of the new flagship is designed around the 75-square-metre master suite. Positioned in the bow on the upper deck and bathed in light thanks to the generous full-height windows that wrap around the front of the cabin, it offers a spectacular view forward and direct access to a private terrace. The owner is ensured maximum privacy – a key feature of this megayacht – by the strict separation of guest and crew flows. An in-depth study of the yacht’s volumes and the expert subdivision of the interiors guarantees maximum comfort on board.

Another distinctive feature of Custom Line 50 is the interconnection between the spaces – clear to see in all the guest areas and especially in the main and upper deck lounges – which is enhanced by the extensive use of mirrored surfaces combined with large, curved windows designed exclusively for this boat. This innovative design creates a spatial dematerialisation effect and conveys the feeling of being on an island surrounded by the seascape.

The generous outdoor spaces give each of the yacht’s decks its own personality, forming a series of sea-view terraces that can be enjoyed at all times of day thanks to the shade provided by the extensive exterior deck space. Seamless fluidity between the outdoor spaces on Custom Line 50 is expressed to perfection in the innovative two-level beach club.

The interiors, developed around a concept based on sophisticated detailing, stand out for the innovative and refined use of materials to point up the concept of three-dimensionality, giving the spaces a strong sense of materiality. A tangible example of this approach is the woodwork in the living areas and cabins, where Canaletto walnut, with its textured surfaces, gives a sense of dynamic movement to the flowing cabinetry and interior walls and is in contrast with the lightness of the extensive glazing. The same material language can be seen in the ivory-coloured wallpaper used for the staircases, featuring a play of vertical and horizontal textures, and in the Crema d’Orcia marble cladding all the bathroom walls.

The harmonious aesthetic unifying colours, textures and materials creates a distinctive fluid design that spans all the decks, reflecting the expertise and know-how of the yard’s craftsmen.

Warm, intense and embracing colour tones such as walnut and natural leather – used both for the finishings and detailing of the custom-designed furnishings – permeate the entire project and are paired with a palette of neutral colours including ivory, beige and white for the lacquering on the ceilings and light grey for the finishings, furnishings and custom textured fabrics. The choice of natural materials such as Calacatta Oro and Crema d’Orcia marble is in line with the soft tones of the interiors.

MAIN DECK

The main deck on Custom Line 50 is characterised by total integration between interiors and exteriors and the innovative concept behind the outdoor spaces, where the main feature is the two-level beach club at the water’s edge. This area is connected to and perfectly integrated with the stern cockpit on the main deck by a spectacular infinity pool, with a large glass wall providing visual continuity between sea and pool.

Fitted out as an elegant private lounge with a sun pad area, this versatile 30-square-metre space is ideal for relaxation and entertainment. Everything is designed to offer an experience of total well-being in perfect harmony with the seascape, creating an ambience where elegance and functionality join forces.

A ‘drawer’ transformer converts the beach club into a full-fledged beach area with direct access to the water. Designed to guarantee maximum safety, the two transom sections on either side of the transformer fold down to provide more space and can be closed when underway to form a safety barrier.

The near 65-square-metre cockpit is completely open towards the beach club and fitted with exclusive lounge seating that amplifies the multi-functionality of this ambience. The external area between the cockpit and the pool features a bar that acts as a separator between the lounge and the aft sun pad area.

A sliding glazed surface leads into the elegant, light-filled main salon, an open space designed for conviviality and a significant addition to the yacht’s social areas. Wherever you go, extensive glazing floods the ambience with light, intensifying the sensory connection with the sea and amplifying the perception of openness.

On entering the salon, the generous living area characterised by its sophisticated and functional design features two large, comfortable sofas flanked by leather armchairs and pouffes. The ambience is further enhanced by refined side tables, with white Calacatta marble tops adding a touch of luxury and sophistication, and a 55-inch TV that drops down from the ceiling, controlled by the audio/video home automation system.

The salon opens onto a refined dining area dominated by a striking white Calacatta marble oval table seating up to 12. Here too, reflective glazing ensures unimpeded views of the seascape, making the dining experience truly special.

Further along this deck is the lobby, where a beautifully designed staircase is the aesthetic and functional point of connection between the lower and upper decks. The staircase walls are covered in ivory coloured wallpaper designed by Phillip Jeffries, featuring an alcantara texture with a noise-reducing design and added value in the form of high-precision detailing. Connecting the main deck with the upper and lower decks, the staircase has a handrail with a wound leather cover designed by Antonio Citterio.

This area also contains the guest lift, which connects the three interior decks – and optionally the sun deck too – and is clad in reflective surfaces and the same wallpaper as the staircase.

Moving forward, we come to the captain’s cabin and then the helm station on the raised mezzanine level, a solution that improves the field of vision and also frees up space on the main deck. The generous glazed surfaces here offer optimal visibility for precision manoeuvring, ensuring both safety and control. On the port side, on the other hand, are the pantry and galley, both directly accessible from the dining area.

The forward bow section on the main deck provides an open-air stowage space for a rescue tender and two jet skis, complete with a davit for easy handling and launching operations.

UPPER DECK

In the forward section of the upper deck, the owner’s apartment covers 75 square metres and guarantees an experience of absolute comfort and privacy. The panoramic light-filled cabin has extensive glazing to offer breathtaking sea views and opens onto a private terrace, creating a setting bathed in natural light and in perfect continuity with the seascape. The double sliding glass doors in the bow, paired with flush floors, lead to an outdoor lounge furnished with small sofas, while a few steps lead to an additional solarium with a unique view over the water and total privacy from the sun deck and the yacht’s other areas.

The double bed, characterised by a leather headboard with visible stitching, is centrally positioned in the suite, both ensuring privacy and elegantly separating the night area from the walk-in closet, bathrooms and entrance, all without compromising the owner’s privileged 180-degree view of the open sea. The more striking items of free-standing furniture include a full-custom desk on the starboard side and a sophisticated white daybed on the port side.

The ambience has a coordinated aesthetic based on a uniform palette of materials that exude elegance and harmony, such as Canaletto walnut, leather and white lacquering, and on three-dimensional cabinetry aligned stylistically with the rest of the yacht.

The owner’s en suite bathroom, on the starboard side on entering the suite, consists of two rooms connected by a large walk-in shower. The Crema d’Orcia marble walls with vertical three-dimensional vibration ribbing, the Crema d’Orcia marble flooring, and the extensive glazing with curved steel detailing flood the setting with light.

Further aft are the stairway and lift connecting the various decks. The day head is on the port side, with the pantry opposite. The next area is the sky lounge, featuring plenty of reflective surfaces that highlight the sense of openness. This space has a large sofa that extends the entire length of the salon and a 77-inch Bang & Olufsen TV contained in an elegant walnut and black aluminium unit featuring superior audio performance.

The generous outdoor lounge area (60 m2) on the aft upper deck, beyond the sliding glass doors, is furnished with elegant sofas around a coffee table. This space leads to the ‘al fresco dining’ area, which is ideal for enjoying conviviality while immersed in the beauty of the surrounding seascape and contains a full custom table seating 12 plus a storage unit with a contemporary design.

SUN DECK

The 106-square-metre sun deck offers outstanding versatility in multi-functional spaces ideal for relaxation and entertainment. Aft, a hydromassage pool with glass panels on both sides is the ideal place to contemplate the sea view, creating a feeling of weightlessness. Beside it, a sophisticated sunbed provides an elegant and functional transition between the relaxation area and the lounge. The spaces here are furnished with large sofas and a unit with an up-and-down mechanism that conceals the TV when not in use. Further along the deck is an American Bar and a barbecue area with tables that can be joined to form a dining table for 12 guests, creating the perfect versatile space for use at any time of day.

The sun deck – accessed either from the guest stairway astern or through a service corridor reserved for the crew – is connected to the upper deck pantry via a hidden stairway incorporated in the bar unit. This arrangement was specially designed to ensure functional separation of the people flows on board, enabling the crew to move around discreetly and offering guests greater privacy, with a solution that meets the aesthetic and practical needs of both.

LOWER DECK

The lower deck is reached by the lift or stairway, both of which lead to the night area lobby, an elegant and functional setting providing access to the four guest cabins. In perfect harmony with the colours and materials of the interiors, this lobby is characterised by warm wood and ivory-coloured wallpaper.

The four guest cabins – two VIP cabins and two Guest cabins in a mirror-image layout – all have private bathrooms and are generously sized (20 m2 for the VIPs and 17 m2 for the Guests) with ceiling heights over 2 m.
Focus on detail is the dominant feature in all these cabins. The sea-facing wall is elegantly clad with walnut veneer from ceiling to floor and opposite it is the bed’s leather headboard, which covers the entire length of the wall and is enriched by decorative stitching and pockets that act as mini bookshelves. The wall with access to the bathroom, on the other hand, is covered in a pale, luminous wallpaper with an attractive vertical pattern.

The bathroom too is in line with the material concept applied to the interiors as a whole, as seen in the brushed walnut floor and the vertical three-dimensional vibration ribbing on the Crema d’Orcia marble walls, which give the ambience its light and dynamism.

The lower deck also has a crew area designed for maximum liveability and functionality. The spacious crew quarters contain four double cabins with private bathroom, plus a separate area with a service pantry and a laundry, resulting in an efficient and well-organised space.
Another unique feature of the design is the layout of the crew area, which has been moved entirely forward and connects the crew area, galley, helm station and captain’s cabin in just two decks. This ensures greater separation between guests and crew and smoother on-board operations.

The stern is home not only to the engine room but also the main garage, which has its entrance on the starboard side of the hull and is designed to accommodate a 6.25-metre Williams tender. The launch and haul-up system is easy to operate and efficient, offering the utmost in practicality.

PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY

Ideal for covering long distances with reduced fuel consumption and category-beating performance, Custom Line 50 is fitted with two CAT C32 ACERT engines producing 1,081 kW. They drive the yacht to a top speed of 16 knots, with a range of about 4,500 nautical miles at an economy cruising speed of 10 knots.
The yacht has been designed with the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, delivering a 70% reduction in NOx emissions, and is IMO Tier III-certified, in line with Ferretti Group’s design vision, with its strong focus on respecting the environment and on sustainable development.
The generously sized engine room features excellent ergonomics and ensures good access to the engines and on-board systems. It can be accessed directly and comfortably from the cockpit by means of a staircase on the port side.

Custom Line 50 features technology of the very highest quality, involving the integration of new components and on-board systems, including AMS stern mechanical movement systems and CMC Marine stabilization systems (4X Zero Speed Electric Fins) for maximum on-board comfort both when cruising and at anchor, and high-efficiency air conditioning systems.
The wheelhouse on the mezzanine between the main and upper decks is designed to high standards of ergonomics, functionality and technological innovation. The helm station also features integrated management of the propulsion system, navigation functions and on-board monitoring, with an easy-to-use advanced interface developed with Team Italia consisting of a central 44-inch display and two 24-inch side monitors.

The hull built entirely from lightweight aluminium alloy was developed using Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to optimise hydrodynamic performance. The result is a sleek, efficient design that reduces drag, improves stability and increases overall performance, ensuring a smooth ride and low fuel consumption even in rough seas. Custom Line 50 is designed to minimise environmental impact thanks to her reduced weight, advanced hydrodynamics and the use of recyclable materials on board.

This yacht offers a unique combination of personalisation, performance and efficiency, establishing a new benchmark in the industry and offering the exclusivity of a custom build with the cost-effectiveness of a semi-series production model.

More than a superyacht, Custom Line 50 is a statement of forward-thinking design, engineering excellence and conscious exclusivity. A harmonious combination of innovation and craftsmanship, this yacht sets a new standard in the category.

A NEW CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 38 HAS ENTERED THE WATER

''demonstrating the success of this magnificent made-to-measure yacht in the displacement line'

Custom Line Navetta 38 BODY
Ancona, December 10, 2024

The second Custom Line Navetta 38 debut in less than a year demonstrates the success of this magnificent made-to-measure yacht in the displacement line, given her world premiere last May. The launch on November 14 at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona was an emotional moment for the owner family – based in the Middle East – who were thrilled to attend the ceremony and celebrate the completion of this joint project.

With a length of 38.76 m, a beam of 8.00 m and a gross tonnage of 299 GT, this made-to-measure yacht is the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy and Engineering Departments. The exterior styling is by architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interior design is by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel.

Working with the project management team, Custom Line Atelier played a strategic role in the yacht’s development, turning the owner’s style preferences into reality and providing assistance right up to the handover.

The razor-sharp focus on bespoke detailing is the aspect of Custom Line Navetta 38 that appealed most to the owner family, along with the combination of sophisticated aesthetics, maximum liveability and direct contact with the water. The yacht has an extremely elegant stylistic harmony resulting from the use and skilful matching of natural oak for the walls, floors and detailing. Oak is also used on the ceilings, filling the interiors with soft, even light, and echoed – as a signature detail in this new project – in the finishing of the rounded doors to which the wood adapts perfectly, naturally and with refinement.

These flowing lines are reprised in the choice of various freestanding elements such as the sofas and low tables in the interior and exterior areas, which for the most part are round in shape.

As specifically requested by the owner, the areas for socialising and relaxing in both the interior salons and outdoor spaces, all intercommunicating, are furnished with large sofas and custom designed armchairs. Coffee tables and lamps featured in the outdoor spaces on all three decks reflect the desire to experience life in the open air to the fullest, sharing special moments with friends and family at any time of day. The importance given to these areas for socialising is perfectly expressed in the layout of this second Custom Line Navetta 38, which has an owner’s suite on the main deck and four double cabins on the lower deck, ensuring space and comfort for all guests on board.

The exterior styling stands out for its timelessly classic design language, featuring simple, harmonious lines that express a refined sense of luxury. The body of the boat is all-white, a customisation requested by the owner to showcase the purity and elegance of the styling.

The chromatic theme running through the yacht embraces a neutral palette, with shades of beige and white enlivened by boldly contrasting accents in smoky grey and black. Black, used at the owner’s request to add depth and character to the spaces, can be seen on the helm station ceilings, on the mirrored glass panes of some of the wardrobes and cabinets, on the lacquered surfaces of the freestanding furniture in the salons, and on the electric sockets and loudspeakers. Completing the visual harmony are natural, unfinished materials including teak, oak and leather, infusing the spaces with warmth and authenticity. The grey and ivory wallpaper designed by Philippe Jeffries adds a particularly elegant touch. Marble is one of the key materials used for the furnishings and coverings, with prized Essential Grey and Crema d’Orcia featured in the bathroom areas to create an atmosphere of refinement and sophistication that’s perfectly in tune with the made-to-measure yacht’s sophisticated aesthetic.

FERRETTI YACHTS UNVEIL THE NEW 670

PURSUIT OF THE PERFECT BLEND OF COMFORT, LIVEABILITY & BEAUTY

''Major restyling introduces exclusive features such as the elegant new exterior styling, redesigned hard top and interiors by Ideaeitalia'

FerrettiYachts670NewExternal
Forli, November 26, 2024

Drawing strength from the model’s success in recent years, the new Ferretti Yachts 670 is a completely renewed version of the yacht.

The new model premiered at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 retains the distinctive features of the previous version – launched to mark Ferretti Yachts’ 50th anniversary – and introduces exclusive elements, completing the range renewal path that began with the development of new layout solutions and collaborations with new designers.

With a length overall of 20.24 metres (66ft 5in) and a maximum beam of 5.38 meters (17ft 8in), Ferretti Yachts 670 is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee – chaired by Piero Ferrari – and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design is by Ferretti Group in collaboration with architect Filippo Salvetti and the interiors are the work of Ideaeitalia.

The well-established features include the elegant combination of incredible volumes and light-filled interiors, while the completely renewed ones include the elegant new exterior styling and maximum seating and storage space.

The main deck helm station has a windshield with no central pillar for superb visibility and pilot chairs by Poltrona Frau. The design of the dinette has been modified to improve the ergonomics of the foredeck.

On the lower deck, the accessibility and ergonomics of the doors and passageways have been optimised to offer unprecedented space and comfort.

There are also some major improvements in the flybridge layout on Ferretti Yachts 670: the seating in the al-fresco dining area has been extended and made even more comfortable and a generous sunpad is available for the stern terrace. Finally, the hard top has been completely redesigned with more flowing lines and now features an opening central section.

EXTERIORS
Starting from the exterior spaces aft, the cockpit and stern platform cover an area of almost 20 m2, ideal for al-fresco dining, with comfortable seating and direct access to the water. Two spacious storage compartments in the transom ensure that the area is always organised and uncluttered. The boat is also equipped with a tender lift that can launch a 3.45 m tender.

The outdoor area forward, fitted out as a generous living space (about 11 m2), features additional improvements to the ergonomics and can be covered entirely by a bimini top. The area is formed by three large sofas (two opposite each another in the bow and one facing forward) plus, on request, two additional tables that are positioned along the side sofas and can be converted into relaxation surfaces, creating a functional and inviting setting. The sea-facing seating also contains the life rafts and additional storage space.

Ferretti Yachts 670’s flybridge mirrors the layout of the first version, increasing the seating space in the dinette. The flybridge can be furnished with a large sunpad in the stern, while in the centre, on the right, a fully-appointed cabinet faces a social area containing a C-shaped sofa and a dining table. Forward, the second helm station on the starboard side (with a Poltrona Frau pilot chair available) is followed by a huge sea-facing sunpad. The hard top has been completely redesigned, with an opening central section and restyled lines. An electric bimini top is also available as an alternative to the hard top.

INTERIORS
The redesigned interior spaces are the result of a study by Ideaeitalia.

Starting from the cockpit on the main deck, a sliding glass door leads to the lounge on the main deck, made up of two large facing sofas with a central coffee table; the TV hidden behind the sofa on the port side of the yacht is raised when in use by an up-down mechanism. Two wide steps lead up to the galley, which has a new more functional layout that faces the dining area and forms a large open space containing a table and a comfortable L-shaped sofa. Also on the starboard side, the helm station is a state-of-the-art technical space equipped with integrated Naviop-Simrad instrumentation and – an innovative feature for this boat – a windshield with no central pillar for better visibility during navigation.

The seating and storage spaces have been expanded in both the lounge and the galley.

From the helm station, a door provides direct technical access to the starboard external walkway. The space concealed under the staircase on the lower deck can also be used for storage.

The size of the owner's suite is truly astonishing for this segment. Located in the mid-section of the boat, it includes a private study area for the owner and provides a total surface area of 18 m2. The space has a centrally placed bed and behind it, aft, a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom.

The central hallway leads to the double cabin on the starboard side, while the VIP cabin is in the bow and both have en-suite bathrooms and separate showers.

A four-cabin layout is also available, replacing the study area in the owner’s cabin with a 4 m2 cabin.

The crew cabin with bathroom is aft on the lower deck and has private access to the cockpit. On request, the crew cabin can be connected to the engine room through a watertight door.

The two interior decor moods available are Classic and Contemporary, both created to offer the owner an ambiance that reflects their taste and style. The Classic mood taps into warm, earthy elements, while Contemporary features glowing woods and fabrics in fresh hues inspired by the colours of the sea.

ENGINES
Ferretti Yachts 670 is equipped with twin 1,000 MHP MAN V8 engines in the standard version, giving her a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots (preliminary data). Optional MAN V8 engines rated 1,200 MHP are also available (maximum speed 32 knots, cruising speed 28 knots).

On request, Ferretti Yachts 670 can be fitted with the stabilisation package consisting of two Seakeeper NG6 gyroscopic stabilisers to ensure maximum stability when at anchor and cruising.

They include a fast displacement hull optimised to improve fuel efficiency and minimise environmental impact (maintaining high performance levels), a special focus on the use of green materials (such as natural fabrics, regenerated leather, recyclable materials, ecological water-based paints and lamellar teak with FSC 5 certification), and an integrated system that stores the solar energy collected by the photovoltaic panels installed on the hard top and on the roof of the All-Season Terrace in an Energy Bank.

The interior design mood chosen for this unit is Contemporary, inspired by the fresh colour tones of the sea.

The upper deck on INFYNITO 90 is replaced on this unit by a completely open sundeck, with a hard-top providing shade for the entire dining area and helm station. The stern area on the upper deck, reserved for sunbathing, is furnished with freestanding sun loungers.

The main deck layout features a main salon with twin face-to-face sofas and a TV that swings down from the ceiling. The galley occupies the forward section of the deck, with a recessed electric window that looks onto the iconic All-Season Terrace, one of the highlights of the entire range. Sheltered by an extension to the superstructure for greater protection and privacy, this terrace is a comfortable private space containing a dinette or bar area and a generous sofa to relax on in the shade.

The lower deck has four guest cabins, all with en-suite bathroom, sleeping a total of eight people. The crew area amidships can be entered privately from the walkway on the port side and contains two separate cabins sleeping three.

The first unit is fitted with optional twin MAN V12 – 1400 mHP engines and can reach a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The standard version with MAN V12 - 1200 mHP engines has a top speed 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots. And with the new high-efficiency hull, the yacht has a range of 1200 nm at economy cruising speed (10 knots).

DISCOVER THE NEW CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 38

A MASTERPIECE OF ELEGANCE AND DESIGN

''A unique living experience with huge exterior spaces and light-filled, airy interiors that fully embrace the sea'

The new Custom Line Navetta 38 a masterpiece
Ancona, July 24 024

Launched in late January, Custom Line Navetta 38 (hull 001) is the new made-to-measure yacht in the brand’s Navetta line. With new exterior and interior design and the highest standards of cruising pleasure, the yacht is a work of naval art that combines innovative engineering with typically Italian style and sophistication.
Custom Line Navetta 38 is a displacement made-to-measure yacht with a length of 38.76 m, a beam of 8.00 m and a gross tonnage of 299 GT. The result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
With exterior styling once again by architect Filippo Salvetti and interior design by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the new Custom Line Navetta 38 expresses the values of quality, generous volumes and absolute comfort that have been part of the brand’s bespoke DNA from the outset.
The project team, which also includes the Custom Line Atelier, plays a strategic role in implementing the customer’s vision, working with them right through to the delivery of the yacht.

Extraordinary combinations of elegance and aesthetics, of liveability and direct contact with the sea, together with a fluid continuity between interiors and exteriors, elevate Custom Line Navetta 38 into a new dimension of navigation.
The exteriors stand out for their timelessly classic design language that features simple, harmonious lines expressing understated, refined luxury. Blending seafaring tradition with sophistication, Custom Line Navetta 38 combines form and function in every detail.
Lines and forms are essential and clean, with a sculptural treatment of surfaces that adds personality, strength and a contemporary flavour, though without undermining the yacht’s elegance and harmonious style.

The layout of Custom Line Navetta 38 extends across three decks characterised by comfort and extremely convivial spaces, with almost 465 square metres of total surface area. The yacht accommodates 12 guests, including two pullman beds, in 5 cabins: a master suite on the main deck and 4 guest cabins on the lower deck.

The interior design process on Custom Line Navetta 38 focused on maximum use of space through optimum control of all the volumes and functional exploitation of the entire available surface area.

The outstanding use of glass ensures light-filled, airy interiors that maximise the natural light, particularly in the main salon and in the salon on the upper deck, with floor-to-ceiling windows that can be fully opened, creating seamless continuity between external and internal spaces and a pleasing feeling of harmony with the marine environment.

The chromatic leitmotiv of the entire interior design project is the use of a wide range of neutral colours such as beige and ivory, enriched with natural, unfinished materials such as teak, oak and leather, but also linen and parchment.
Raffia is used widely as is ivory wallpaper by Philippe Jeffries, both tactile materials that stand out for their refined workmanship and detailing, while maintaining an extremely understated colour palette.

One of the distinctive features of the design is the three-dimensional oak ceiling, which has a hollowed-out, ribbed structure that adds a touch of sophisticated originality. This original solution captures the essence of the hull and is in perfect harmony with the oak or teak floors, set off by contrasting inserts such as the dark pencil strip used throughout the boat on the walls, which feature floor-to-ceiling windows that amplify the natural light in the settings.

The transition of materials between ceilings, walls and floors is echoed in the finishing of the rounded oak doors, a signature detail in this new project. The same technique is also used for the yacht’s glazing and the inner shell. The details help create a uniquely soft atmosphere in a light-filled space, infusing the settings with warmth and lightness.

Every customer is delighted with this aesthetic and design result, made possible by the collaboration with ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, who have revisited the stylistic features of maritime tradition – from the concept to the colour palette – through a contemporary lens.

MAIN DECK
The main deck is characterised by total integration between the interior and exterior spaces, as well as by clear separation between guest areas and crew workspaces to ensure complete privacy for the owner.

The beach club is a distinctive feature on board Custom Line Navetta 38 and can extended on both sides when at anchor.

The beach club and main deck cockpit cover over 70 square metres. The cockpit is totally open towards the beach club and furnished with versatile, modular, freestanding units, creating a more extensive, generous and multi-functional area, in an exclusive design by ACPV ARCHITECTS for this yacht. A further accent on the concept of continuity and openness between boat and open sea is the all-glass construction of the parapets in the main deck cockpit.

The generous beach club is a very versatile, welcoming space, with a large incorporated, sea-facing sofa that can be enjoyed at any time of day.
In this way, the water’s edge terrace with direct access to the sea becomes an exclusive area for special moments. Two gunwales open out to take full advantage of the space. The beach club’s rational and functional layout makes it extremely practical and easy to use.

A sliding full-height glass door leads to the living area on the main deck, a formal setting with flowing lines that features a range of materials and custom-made freestanding furniture, from oak and natural leather to shades of ivory and the oak parquet flooring, embodying Custom Line’s signature concepts of elegance and design to perfection.

Huge spaces, ceiling heights over 2 metres, and two full-height windows that open in the hull sides convey a feeling of fluidity and amplify the volumes, establishing intense, direct contact with the sea.

The 42-square-metre salon on the main deck, with living and dining areas, has a timelessly elegant style and custom-made furniture designed by Antonio Citterio. Here, the simple lines of the furnishings and the layout create an informal, refined mood that skilfully combines naval tradition with innovative functionality. The flowing interior lines interact with the original shape of the B&B Italia Maxalto sofa designed by Antonio Citterio, adding movement and blending perfectly into the setting. Opposite the sofa, a beautiful B&B Italia Maxalto leather pouf designed by Antonio Citterio can also be used as a coffee table, and the main salon can be transformed into a screening room with a latest-generation TV that drops down from the ceiling and is controlled from the home automation audio and video system’s iPad interface.

On this first Custom Line Navetta 38, the formal dining area contains a table and armchairs of the B&B Italia Maxaldo designed by Antonio Citterio seating up to twelve guests.
The suspended furnishings are light and have rich detailing such as the parchment covering, chosen to accentuate the fluidity of the natural light and the transparency of the interior space. In the heart of the salon, two central units open towards the bow, featuring cabinets with sliding mirrored doors. These storage spaces are designed to contain some of the tableware, such as glasses, plates or tea and coffee services. The same layout is replicated aft, with two more cabinets fitted with sliding mirrored doors, also designed to contain tableware. Elegant and functional, such high-quality craftsmanship isn’t only a question of practicality, but also adds to the aesthetic dimension of the spaces.

Continuing along the deck, the central lobby features stitched leather on the walls and a oak staircase with a stitched leather handrail, that connects the main deck to the lower and upper decks.
Amidships, the exclusive owner’s suite is a generous 40-square-metre space designed to offer the owner an oasis of privacy in which to spend time relaxing and having fun, with an ever-present sea view.

On entering the owner’s apartment, there are two walk-in wardrobes on the left plus a central bookcase, with a woven leather frame, wooden shelves and a design that echoes the mood of the cabin. The standout features on the starboard side are a large chaise longue with two freestanding wooden tables and a desk with an elegant leather top, while a beautiful vanity desk, also with a leather top, elegantly furnishes the sea-view port side.

The central bed dominates the setting, with its curved lines and modern design featuring an eye-catching leather-weave headboard. There was a special focus on tactile materials, while maintaining a natural and harmonious background of colours and finishes.

The bathroom is split into two parts, one for each of the cabin’s two occupants, with a shower connecting them that can also be used as a steam room. Oak is used here for continuity, the only exception being the central shower, which is clad in Pietra d’Orcia stone like the bathroom’s other walls. Lastly, the mirrors have leather-covered frames, completing the mood of refined elegance.

On the port side of the deck are the pantry and the fully equipped Ernestomeda kitchen, as well as the staircase down to the crew area on the lower deck. The passenger flows are carefully arranged so that crew don’t have to enter the guest area, ensuring maximum privacy.

LOWER DECK

The lower deck has four guest cabins – three VIP and one guest cabins – all with their own set up and private bathroom. The key design feature here is the oak staircase with leather-clad handrail that leads down to the lower deck and features sophisticated detailing and prestige finishes. Both the stairway lobby and the cabins feature leather stitching details that reprise the project’s dominant theme, that of “luggage and travel”, evoking old-fashioned suitcases and the idea of being continually on the move.

The guest cabins have appealing wall coverings in natural materials like raffia, and ribbed oak on the ceilings and floors, following the outline of the hull. These cabins are symmetrical on the longitudinal axis of the Navetta and they are furnished with double and twin beds. Their bathrooms are finished with Crema d’Orcia stone, which has pale, neutral nuances and a sandy touch to keep the tones warm and give a soft look to the other coordinated materials.

The crew quarters in the bow have three double crew cabins with bathrooms, comfortably accommodating a staff of six.

Astern, in addition to the engine room, the main garage can contain a 5.65 m Williams diesel jet tender and other water toys. A very simple and practical system is installed here to launch and haul up the tender, with a stern platform that can be lowered towards the water and a portion of the stern door with a traditional opening mechanism.

UPPER DECK

The upper deck, measuring over 90 square metres, is made up of a spacious outdoor lounge and a panoramic indoor salon that can be fully opened on three sides, with interconnections between the two for a genuine indoor-outdoor experience.
The feeling of fluidity between the two spaces is the result of the floor-to-ceiling windows around the central salon, which open completely and provide natural lighting, panoramic views and direct contact with the marine environment.

Aft there’s a cockpit containing a custom modular couch with coffee tables, this too an exclusive design by ACPV ARCHITECTS, and a cosy dining area that can seat up to 10 people around the large table.

The sky lounge is a wide-open panoramic salon, featuring light and contact with the water thanks to floor-to-ceiling glazing that can be opened on three sides. The salon also has a leather armchair and coffee table, both freestanding and designed by B&B Italia Maxalto. Moving forward from the central salon, on the right there’s a day bathroom and on the left a sliding mirror door leading to the pantry area, which can also be accessed from the other decks via a stairway reserved exclusively for the crew. Forward of these areas is the helm station, with access to the captain’s personal cabin with private bathroom.

The wide lateral walkways, reserved for the owner and guests, lead directly to the bow, where a Sunset Lounge offers a calm space that can be configured to meet the owner’s needs, with comfortable seating and a solarium with sun pads, all custom-designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS, for enjoying the sun and sea in absolute privacy. A garage located forward can accommodate a 2.85-metre Williams tender or a jet ski and two water toys, or alternatively be used simply as a storage area.

SUNDECK

With a total surface area of 65 square metres and a length of 15 metres, the sundeck is split into four virtual outdoor areas that merge into each other to offer a unique 360-degree view and connect with the water.
This is the ultimate space for socialising and relaxing, completed by a spectacular teak-clad Jacuzzi aft with a sea view and sun loungers, followed by the extensive lounge and barbecue area. There is also a centrally positioned bar zone – furnished with large sofas designed to adapt to different social occasions and covered by a painted hard top – and a sun lounge forward, all custom-made and designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS.
A further accent on the concept of continuity and openness between boat and open sea is the all-glass construction of the parapets in the forward part of the sundeck.

PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY

Ideal for covering long distances with reduced fuel consumption and to enjoy category-beating performance, Custom Line Navetta 38 is fitted with two MAN units rated 1,400 hp. They drive the yacht to a top speed of 15 knots, with a range of about 2,800 nautical miles at an economy cruising speed of 10 knots.

The yacht is SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) ready and installing the system brings a 70% reduction in NOx emissions (IMO3 compatible), in line with Ferretti Group’s design vision, with its strong focus on respecting the environment and on sustainable development. The generously sized engine room features excellent ergonomics and ensures good access to the engines and on-board systems.

Custom Line Navetta 38 features mega yacht technology of the very highest quality, involving the integration of new components and on-board systems, including Fratelli Canalicchio stern mechanical movement systems, Naiad stabilizer fins plus Seakeeper systems (2 NG18 and 1 NG9) for maximum on-board comfort both when cruising and at anchor, and high-efficiency air conditioning systems. There was also a special focus on the design and technical architecture of the audio-video system, which integrates latest generation equipment into the yacht’s elegant interiors. The Bang&Olufsen BEOSOUND THEATRE audio system adds sophistication and elegance, featuring a ribbed wood design that subtly echoes the ceilings. The loudspeakers are positioned on the furniture in both the main salon and on the sky lounge.

The wheelhouse on the upper deck is a full-custom design featuring high standards of ergonomics, functionality and technological innovation, which also ensure outstanding technical visibility. The large helm station also features integrated management of the propulsion systems, navigation functions and on-board monitoring, with an easy-to-use advanced interface developed with Team Italia consisting of a 44-inch front display, two 27-inch side monitors, two more 24-inch touch monitors and two innovative multi-keyboards, also by Team Italia, which combine jogger, trackball and virtual keyboard functions, both equipped with a 7-inch touch monitor, bringing the total number of displays to seven.
Lastly, the helm station glazing all has IR filtering that reduces infrared rays by up to 65%.

Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO 90wins Best Detail on Image 1
Forli, July 19 2024

Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO 90 triumphed at the “Robb Report Best of the Best Award”, now in its 36th year, by winning the “Best Detail on a Yacht” prize. The award is one of the world’s most highly reputed in the luxury sector and has 16 categories, including fashion, cars, yachts, art, design, food, wine and philanthropy.

The winning factor for INFYNITO 90 was the iconic “All-Season Terrace”, which the panel of judges recognised as a true innovation that redefines the foredeck because it’s both open and protected at the same time.

Sheltered by an extension to the superstructure for protection in all weather conditions and total privacy, this covered terrace is a comfortable private area that can be fitted out according to the owner’s preferences.

This success demonstrates Ferretti Yachts’ relevance and capacity to innovate in the luxury sector. Italian-made design, sustainability, comfort and class are the values that make the brand’s boats unique, so that owners can experience all the intensity and beauty of the sea.

FOURTH PERSHING GTX116 LAUNCHED

TIMELESS ELEGANCE AND SPORTY CHARACTER
'SUV -style luxury  in line with brand tradition'

Fourth Pershing GTX116 launched
Mondolfo, July 17 2024

Unit four of the Pershing GTX116 was launched in the port of Fano on July 10. Elegance, refinement and a strong sporting spirit are the keywords that best describe this new construction, the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni and the Group’s Engineering Department. The launch is a new statement of the brand’s strong sporting nature and focus on maximizing onboard liveability, on evolving the concept of comfort and on creating even more contact with the sea.

At over 35 metres in length and 7.70 metres in the beam, this model has a sleek, streamlined profile and evokes images of SUV-style luxury in line with the brand’s tradition. The concept of elegance expressed by this, the fourth unit of the model, designed for the US market, is immediately evident on the outside, with the hull in classic Pershing Monte Carlo grey, while the superstructure is a special shade obtained by blending two different Pershing greys. Contrast is provided by the glossy black hard top and radomes. The overall impression is amplified by extensive glazing, which floods the interiors with natural light and creates an intimate interplay between interior and exterior.

The large salon on the main deck has a layout that features a bar with four Poltrona Frau stools in steel and pecan colour leather. The same design label is on the centrally positioned couch, whose pale shades of grey and ivory match the other furnishings and contrast with the darker grey flooring. There are also two Minotti armchairs. Contrasting shades were chosen for various other areas and furnishings on this yacht, such as in the galley, where the colour palette creates continuity with the salon and other spaces. It was decided to personalise the interiors using several partner brands, taking advantage of one of the strengths of this model, which is the possibility of customising the spaces to create the most comfortable living experience possible.

The lower deck, lastly, is home to the owner’s cabin and four guest cabins in which most of the detailing is glossy black.

The fourth Pershing GTX116 unit is fitted with three 2,000 HP MAN V12 2000 engines paired with three waterjets that deliver a top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 29 knots.

The iconic stealth-style glass superstructure is laid out on a single living level, creating the most innovative open/closed space from bow to stern ever seen. WALLYPOWER50
The new wallypower50 broadens the range, acting as a link between the wallytenders and the wallypowers and establishing a new standard for being flexible, practical, dynamic and iconic.

The design concept is that of a bridge between the open style of the wallytender43 and wallytender48 and the more generous wallypower58. The resulting model satisfies a wide range of customers and usage scenarios: from support vessel to comfortable family cruiser.
The layout of the wallypower50 stands out for practicality thanks to the raised cockpit, which can accommodate eight people under the hardtop and four more on forward-facing seats, while the generous open space below deck offers maximum flexibility, completed by a comfortable bathroom with a separate shower, a large couch and a double bed. The two Volvo Penta IPS650 engines drive the wallypower50 to a top speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots, ensuring easy manoeuvring in close-quarters situations thanks to the joystick with DPS option. 5 YACHTS ENTER THE WATER - FERRETTI GROUP'S SUPERYACHT YARD - ANCONA
'2 Custom Line planing superyachts , 2 in the Navetta line and the new flagship in the 50-metre aluminium made-to-measure line'

Custom Line launches five superyachts in a month collage 1
Ancona, July 9, 2024

In the space of just a month, five new Custom Line superyachts have taken to the sea at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.

They include the new Custom Line 50 flagship, M/Y ASANTE, the first all-aluminium pleasure vessel in the made-to-measure line, making her debut in the market segment for metal construction yachts under 500 GT. The launch ceremony held on Saturday June 8 was attended by the owner family and the shipyard’s top management and employees, accompanied by their families.

M/Y FELICITY, the twelfth Custom Line Navetta 42 hull launched on May 22 with the owner family in attendance, is a design project developed by the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, with the Custom Line Atelier playing a strategic role in the interior design process by interpreting the style requirements of the owner family based in the EMEA region. With a length of 41.8 m and a beam of 8.1 m, this superyacht in the brand’s displacement line features a powerful sculpted silhouette. Flowing lines, formal clarity and a functional aesthetic are the key features of a design that exploits the yacht’s generous volumes, using a functional approach to maximise the interior and exterior living areas, as well as assuring total privacy for the Owner and guests by providing passageways reserved for the crew and captain.
In the interiors, the chromatic palette juxtaposes vibrant, intense colours with contrasting shades that run from smooth nuances of beige, sand and cream to fresh tints of moss and mint green, featured in the main deck salon and several cabins, right through to elegant tones of Burgundy purple and earth in the owner areas. The interplay of colours is also a feature of the upper deck and cockpit, where blue and pink gold reign supreme, pointing up the colours and the vicinity of the sea in an area designed as a leisure space for owner and guests. Various shades of yellow pervade and illuminate the sun deck, welcoming those on board in an atmosphere of total relaxation. The furnishings feature fine materials such as Arabescato Corchia, Calacatta Viola, Breccia Capraia and Carrara marble, side-by-side with Stone Grey, creating a style characterised by a refined sense of opulence. Several of the freestanding pieces and coverings feature warm, inviting materials such as nubuck leather, velvet and American walnut.

The launch of the eleventh Custom Line 120’ hull was attended last June 12 by the owner family based in the AMAS region, who are particularly fond of the brand’s planing line. Custom Line 120’ M/Y GERRY’S FERRY, an emblem of stylistic purity and bespoke excellence, is a creation of the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, with support from the experts at Custom Line Atelier for the interiors, liaising directly with the customer to ensure that the superyacht is a true portrait of the people who live on her. With a length of 38.36 meters and a beam of 7.65 meters, she has a distinctly dynamic personality defined by sleek, powerful contours and modern styling, offering the maximum in terms of speed, performance and wellbeing on board. The design harmoniously connects the exterior and interior settings through large hull windows and floor-to-ceiling glazing on deck, allowing natural light reflected off the sea to flood in. Energy and sophistication are the main character traits of the interiors, in which the chromatic harmony of the spaces is based on the use of muted, warm colours such as hazelnut, chamois and white, accompanied by sumptuous nuances of ebony, dark brown and bronze. The colour palette is brought to life by the oriental red featured on several freestanding pieces, including the original chaise lounge in the owner’s area and other furnishings. The use of fine, exclusive materials is front and centre, with brown-tinted Patagonia Original, white travertine and bronze travertine marble, as well as nubuck leather used for various finishings, in keeping with the yacht’s distinctive modern style.

On June 19, the twenty-second hull in the Custom Line 106' planing line entered the water under the eyes of her captain, dealer and surveyor. This superyacht is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Engineering Department for the exterior styling and the Custom Line Atelier, which provided strategic interior design advice working in constant, direct contact with the customer from the EMEA area. Custom Line 106’ reflects Made in Italy excellence in a combination of aesthetics and comfort where natural light pervades and expands the on-board spaces. At 32.82 m in length and 7.4 m in the beam, the yacht has generous spaces and clean, rigorous lines. The interconnection of the surfaces and the stern-to-bow fluidity of the volumes dissolve spacial confines, creating a perfect architectural equilibrium between exteriors and interiors. The chic and essential interior design is based on a juxtaposition of soft, dense colours – such as beige, also used in its Arizona beige version, clay, ivory and ice – and the darker, seductive nuances of black, bronze and brown, giving the interiors depth and character in line with the owner’s strong personality and refined tastes. The decor features high quality natural materials such as Nero Marquinia – a fine grain, white veined marble used extensively in the owner’s area – along with bronze travertine and Sahara Noir marble for certain furnishing elements, and American walnut.

A new launch for the successful Custom Line Navetta 30 line took place on June 27, with the owner family in attendance. The twentieth hull in the brand’s displacement line was a joint design effort by the Product Strategy Department, which produced the exterior design, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, along with ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel for the interior architecture and architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior styling. Strategic consulting for the interior design was provided by Custom Line Atelier, which tailored the project to the owner’s stylistic preferences. With a length of 28.43 m and a beam of 7.3 m, this superyacht delivers ambitious volumes while continuing to convey a feeling of lightness and elegance. Refined avant-garde styling and timeless aesthetic taste are the other defining elements. The sleek and dynamic profile of the exteriors is pointed up by the extended sweep of horizontal lines towards the bow. In the interiors, the colour palette is a combination of pale and luminous tones that amplify the incoming light and enhance on-board liveability. The chosen colours range from snow and glacier white to the beige used for the salons, cabins and mosaic walls, or from shell pink, sand and cashmere to the darker, more embracing nuances of anthracite and cobalt blue used for some of the ornamental elements. The decor features elegant and natural materials like rope, natural teak, nubuck leather and Calacatta Oro marble in the freestanding elements.

THE NEW PERSHING GTX80
'an appealing cruising experience'

Pershing GTX80 Performance design and sportiness
Mondolfo, June 24, 2024

The spectacular Pershing GTX series continues to grow with Pershing GTX80, delivering endless emotions that define a new standard of enjoyment and pleasure. Absolute continuity between interiors and exteriors, where spaces flow seamlessly into each other, creates an unprecedented dimension of comfort and a unique cruising experience. Pershing GTX80 is the brand’s new yacht in the GTX series, the revolutionary generation of sports boats designed to showcase on-board comfort and the incredible liveability of the spaces, while continuing to deliver the excellent performance and outstanding sportiness imprinted in Pershing’s DNA.

The new model, with an overall length under 24 metres and a beam of 5.8 metres, is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department.

This hull, which was built at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility and brings together Pershing’s advanced technologies and signature craftsmanship, extends across two decks and a sportbridge, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests in a layout featuring four cabins. Pershing GTX80 is the result of an in-depth study of proportions, creating a refined volumetric equilibrium between superstructure and hull and achieving an innovative architectural harmony for a sports motor yacht of this size.

The balance between architectural harmony and technology can already be seen from the exterior, where signature Pershing style features are combined with innovative choices. One example is the profile of the hull, which features a near vertical bow and a continuous, slightly convex sheer-line. The bulwarks, which have been lightened in the bow section by a longitudinal slot, have a dual function in the stern, both incorporating the winches and converting into lateral terraces that open out to provide even more contact with the water. The hull features elegant, flowing lines and contrasts classic Pershing grey with a darker shade of the same colour on the superstructure and with the polished carbon of the hard top. A palette of colours that expresses the elegance of this model right at first sight.

MAIN DECK
In the stern area, the main deck is laid out across two levels, the first designed to enjoy contact with the water and the other for total relaxation. The beach area on the first level – 28 m2 and with a total beam of 8.80 m – can be reached thanks to the lateral terraces that open out electrically. The stern platform here is a strategic feature of the boat and has three different positions. It can be left in the default position, used to launch the tenders, or raised using the dual linear lift function – produced by F.lli Canalicchio, like the other stern mechanical movement systems – so that it extends and integrates the aft living area with the lateral terraces when open. A large locker for water toys can be accessed from the transom.

The raised second level, on the other hand, is dedicated to the 14 m2 cockpit containing a dining area with a table and free-standing chairs. This area communicates directly with the indoor galley through electrically operated up-down windows, which when open leave space for an area that can also be used as an outdoor bar accessible from the cockpit. From here, the 36 m2 living area can be entered through a door comprising two sliding, overlapping panels. Positioned on the left side of the entrance, the three-sided galley has an internal bar counter in addition to the one accessible from the cockpit, a solution that gives Pershing GTX80 an even more convivial character and underscores the continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. The interior layout of the salon is available in two versions: one more informal, with structural seating along both hull sides and an extending table, and one more formal, chosen for this first unit, featuring a table seating eight guests on the starboard side opposite the galley.

The interior design is as dynamic as Pershing GTX80’s cruising style and approach to life on board. The sense of being in contact with the water is even stronger, not least because of the configuration of the windows surrounding the salon, which also extend under the lateral walkways, ensuring seamless visual contact with the water, even when sitting on the sofas. The sea and light are key features above all in the salon, which is also fitted with ceiling lighting. The division of the silk grey coloured wooden panels creates an interplay of intersecting diagonal strips of LED light that provide uniform light diffusion across the entire deck – from exterior to interior – with a pared-down design that exploits multiple angles.
The colour pairings in the living area have been chosen to point up contrasts, with an unexpected and surprising combination provided by the leather sofas in pale, warm colour tones juxtaposed with the colder steel-effect metallic lacquer of the furnishing accessories.
The raised helm station in the bow on the main deck has three monitors, a Simrad navigation system and a second pilot chair.
The huge windshield – with no central pillar in the Pershing tradition – and extensive use of continuous glazing ensure 360-degree visibility. A sunroof can be fitted above the windshield to provide not only natural ventilation but also better visibility and a more exciting cruising experience.

LOWER DECK
The starboard staircase leads down to the lower deck, which is available in two versions: with four cabins and four en suite bathrooms, as on the first unit, or with a dinette and day head instead of the fourth guest cabin on the starboard side. The full-beam master suite is midships and has an en suite bathroom. The highly distinctive interior decoration is epitomised by this space, which is clad from top to bottom in cloud-effect sky blue leather panelling, applied with different spacings and widths on natural wood coloured walls.

The style concept of this new design is also echoed in the ceiling panels with intersecting strips of LED lighting, reprising the aesthetic of the main deck. The strips of light are a fundamental interior design feature of this model. On the wall accommodating the large TV screen facing the bed in the master suite and on the wall behind the black-leather-clad headboard, vertical strips of light create a modern, refined setting that reflects the aesthetic of the furniture and furnishings. The door opposite the double bed leads to the master bathroom, which like the other bathroom areas has metallic lacquered panels on the walls, featuring a sculptural storage column that reprises the sky-blue colour of the cabins. The bathroom accessories, including the mixer taps, basin and shower accessories, are black, matching the metallic colour of the walls and contrasting with the furniture. Lastly, in the bathroom too there was a special focus on lighting design, with a ceiling that reprises the strips of light on the bedroom walls, underscoring the choice of a coordinated, pared down and undeniably classy approach. The spacious, comfortable guest cabins ensure maximum privacy from the crew area – midships on the starboard side and with two beds – which is accessed from the cockpit under the staircase up to the sportbridge, hiding the entrance from view.

SPORTBRIDGE
Following in the footsteps of Pershing GTX116, this new model has a very spacious sundeck, which at 23 square metres – 60% larger than the category average – provides interior space of gran turismo proportions. This effect is partly due to the sleekly dynamic arch-shaped deckhouse and the optional carbon fabric hard-top, which offers the perfect way to lighten up the superstructure, guaranteeing maximum performance and maintaining a chromatically uniform finish. The generous full-beam sunpad in the stern on this deck communicates directly with the dining table area, offering the possibility of additional bench seating, and can be served by a large bar unit. Forward of the bar unit, the exterior helm station is equipped with up to three pilot chairs and two monitors.

PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY
Equipped with three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines, Pershing GTX80 reaches a top speed of 34 knots (preliminary data) and a cruising speed of 28 knots. In keeping with the brand’s tradition, this new Pershing GTX80 is equipped with innovative technological systems such as the Volvo IPS electro-hydraulic steering system, HUMPHREE trim stabilisers, Seakeeper 2x NG 9 gyroscopic stabilisers (optional) and upgraded Volvo joystick functions such as joystick driving and assisted docking. The yacht has CE Class A certification.
