FOURTH PERSHING GTX116 LAUNCHED
TIMELESS ELEGANCE AND SPORTY CHARACTER
'SUV -style luxury in line with brand tradition'
![]() |
Unit four of the Pershing GTX116 was launched in the port of Fano on July 10. Elegance, refinement and a strong sporting spirit are the keywords that best describe this new construction, the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni and the Group’s Engineering Department. The launch is a new statement of the brand’s strong sporting nature and focus on maximizing onboard liveability, on evolving the concept of comfort and on creating even more contact with the sea.
At over 35 metres in length and 7.70 metres in the beam, this model has a sleek, streamlined profile and evokes images of SUV-style luxury in line with the brand’s tradition. The concept of elegance expressed by this, the fourth unit of the model, designed for the US market, is immediately evident on the outside, with the hull in classic Pershing Monte Carlo grey, while the superstructure is a special shade obtained by blending two different Pershing greys. Contrast is provided by the glossy black hard top and radomes. The overall impression is amplified by extensive glazing, which floods the interiors with natural light and creates an intimate interplay between interior and exterior.
The large salon on the main deck has a layout that features a bar with four Poltrona Frau stools in steel and pecan colour leather. The same design label is on the centrally positioned couch, whose pale shades of grey and ivory match the other furnishings and contrast with the darker grey flooring. There are also two Minotti armchairs. Contrasting shades were chosen for various other areas and furnishings on this yacht, such as in the galley, where the colour palette creates continuity with the salon and other spaces. It was decided to personalise the interiors using several partner brands, taking advantage of one of the strengths of this model, which is the possibility of customising the spaces to create the most comfortable living experience possible.
The lower deck, lastly, is home to the owner’s cabin and four guest cabins in which most of the detailing is glossy black.
The fourth Pershing GTX116 unit is fitted with three 2,000 HP MAN V12 2000 engines paired with three waterjets that deliver a top speed of 34 knots and a cruising speed of 29 knots.
PERSHING GTX80 - DESIGN-PERFORMANCE-SPORTINESS
THE NEW PERSHING GTX80
'an appealing cruising experience'
![]() |
The spectacular Pershing GTX series continues to grow with Pershing GTX80, delivering endless emotions that define a new standard of enjoyment and pleasure. Absolute continuity between interiors and exteriors, where spaces flow seamlessly into each other, creates an unprecedented dimension of comfort and a unique cruising experience. Pershing GTX80 is the brand’s new yacht in the GTX series, the revolutionary generation of sports boats designed to showcase on-board comfort and the incredible liveability of the spaces, while continuing to deliver the excellent performance and outstanding sportiness imprinted in Pershing’s DNA.
The new model, with an overall length under 24 metres and a beam of 5.8 metres, is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department.
This hull, which was built at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility and brings together Pershing’s advanced technologies and signature craftsmanship, extends across two decks and a sportbridge, comfortably accommodating up to eight guests in a layout featuring four cabins. Pershing GTX80 is the result of an in-depth study of proportions, creating a refined volumetric equilibrium between superstructure and hull and achieving an innovative architectural harmony for a sports motor yacht of this size.
The balance between architectural harmony and technology can already be seen from the exterior, where signature Pershing style features are combined with innovative choices. One example is the profile of the hull, which features a near vertical bow and a continuous, slightly convex sheer-line. The bulwarks, which have been lightened in the bow section by a longitudinal slot, have a dual function in the stern, both incorporating the winches and converting into lateral terraces that open out to provide even more contact with the water. The hull features elegant, flowing lines and contrasts classic Pershing grey with a darker shade of the same colour on the superstructure and with the polished carbon of the hard top. A palette of colours that expresses the elegance of this model right at first sight.
MAIN DECK
In the stern area, the main deck is laid out across two levels, the first designed to enjoy contact with the water and the other for total relaxation. The beach area on the first level – 28 m2 and with a total beam of 8.80 m – can be reached thanks to the lateral terraces that open out electrically. The stern platform here is a strategic feature of the boat and has three different positions. It can be left in the default position, used to launch the tenders, or raised using the dual linear lift function – produced by F.lli Canalicchio, like the other stern mechanical movement systems – so that it extends and integrates the aft living area with the lateral terraces when open. A large locker for water toys can be accessed from the transom.
The raised second level, on the other hand, is dedicated to the 14 m2 cockpit containing a dining area with a table and free-standing chairs. This area communicates directly with the indoor galley through electrically operated up-down windows, which when open leave space for an area that can also be used as an outdoor bar accessible from the cockpit. From here, the 36 m2 living area can be entered through a door comprising two sliding, overlapping panels. Positioned on the left side of the entrance, the three-sided galley has an internal bar counter in addition to the one accessible from the cockpit, a solution that gives Pershing GTX80 an even more convivial character and underscores the continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. The interior layout of the salon is available in two versions: one more informal, with structural seating along both hull sides and an extending table, and one more formal, chosen for this first unit, featuring a table seating eight guests on the starboard side opposite the galley.
The interior design is as dynamic as Pershing GTX80’s cruising style and approach to life on board. The sense of being in contact with the water is even stronger, not least because of the configuration of the windows surrounding the salon, which also extend under the lateral walkways, ensuring seamless visual contact with the water, even when sitting on the sofas. The sea and light are key features above all in the salon, which is also fitted with ceiling lighting. The division of the silk grey coloured wooden panels creates an interplay of intersecting diagonal strips of LED light that provide uniform light diffusion across the entire deck – from exterior to interior – with a pared-down design that exploits multiple angles.
The colour pairings in the living area have been chosen to point up contrasts, with an unexpected and surprising combination provided by the leather sofas in pale, warm colour tones juxtaposed with the colder steel-effect metallic lacquer of the furnishing accessories.
The raised helm station in the bow on the main deck has three monitors, a Simrad navigation system and a second pilot chair.
The huge windshield – with no central pillar in the Pershing tradition – and extensive use of continuous glazing ensure 360-degree visibility. A sunroof can be fitted above the windshield to provide not only natural ventilation but also better visibility and a more exciting cruising experience.
LOWER DECK
The starboard staircase leads down to the lower deck, which is available in two versions: with four cabins and four en suite bathrooms, as on the first unit, or with a dinette and day head instead of the fourth guest cabin on the starboard side. The full-beam master suite is midships and has an en suite bathroom. The highly distinctive interior decoration is epitomised by this space, which is clad from top to bottom in cloud-effect sky blue leather panelling, applied with different spacings and widths on natural wood coloured walls.
The style concept of this new design is also echoed in the ceiling panels with intersecting strips of LED lighting, reprising the aesthetic of the main deck. The strips of light are a fundamental interior design feature of this model. On the wall accommodating the large TV screen facing the bed in the master suite and on the wall behind the black-leather-clad headboard, vertical strips of light create a modern, refined setting that reflects the aesthetic of the furniture and furnishings. The door opposite the double bed leads to the master bathroom, which like the other bathroom areas has metallic lacquered panels on the walls, featuring a sculptural storage column that reprises the sky-blue colour of the cabins. The bathroom accessories, including the mixer taps, basin and shower accessories, are black, matching the metallic colour of the walls and contrasting with the furniture. Lastly, in the bathroom too there was a special focus on lighting design, with a ceiling that reprises the strips of light on the bedroom walls, underscoring the choice of a coordinated, pared down and undeniably classy approach. The spacious, comfortable guest cabins ensure maximum privacy from the crew area – midships on the starboard side and with two beds – which is accessed from the cockpit under the staircase up to the sportbridge, hiding the entrance from view.
SPORTBRIDGE
Following in the footsteps of Pershing GTX116, this new model has a very spacious sundeck, which at 23 square metres – 60% larger than the category average – provides interior space of gran turismo proportions. This effect is partly due to the sleekly dynamic arch-shaped deckhouse and the optional carbon fabric hard-top, which offers the perfect way to lighten up the superstructure, guaranteeing maximum performance and maintaining a chromatically uniform finish. The generous full-beam sunpad in the stern on this deck communicates directly with the dining table area, offering the possibility of additional bench seating, and can be served by a large bar unit. Forward of the bar unit, the exterior helm station is equipped with up to three pilot chairs and two monitors.
PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY
Equipped with three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines, Pershing GTX80 reaches a top speed of 34 knots (preliminary data) and a cruising speed of 28 knots. In keeping with the brand’s tradition, this new Pershing GTX80 is equipped with innovative technological systems such as the Volvo IPS electro-hydraulic steering system, HUMPHREE trim stabilisers, Seakeeper 2x NG 9 gyroscopic stabilisers (optional) and upgraded Volvo joystick functions such as joystick driving and assisted docking. The yacht has CE Class A certification.

Mondolfo, April 9, 2024
The first Pershing GTX80, the ultimate expression of exhilaration, total control and unchallenged dominance, was launched on April 3 in the port of Fano. The yacht has the sporty spirit and generous living spaces typical of the Pershing GTX range.
The new Pershing GTX80, about 24 metres long and 5.80 metres in the beam, is the phenomenal result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, design studio Vallicelli Design and the Group’s Engineering Department.
The interiors and exteriors on board this model communicate seamlessly with each other, creating a unique space and a new dimension of comfort. The yacht has two decks, plus a sportbridge, and can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests thanks to the new four-cabin layout. There is also a cabin with two beds for the crew.
The exterior styling, in classic Pershing grey, features a number of innovative choices: designed without stanchions, it points up the near vertical bow and the continuous, slightly convex sheer-line. In the bow section, the bulwarks have been lightened by a longitudinal slot, while those in the stern have a dual function, both incorporating the winches and converting into lateral terraces that swing down. This is the first time a solution like this has been adopted on a Pershing model and the aim is to establish even closer contact with the water.
One of the outdoor spaces that stands out most is the stern platform, which has three different positions, making it a versatile and extremely important feature of the boat. It can be left in the default position, raised using the dual linear lift so that it’s flush with the beach area, extending and integrating the aft living space in conjunction with the lateral terraces when open, and also used for launching tenders.
The bright, airy spaces and extensive glazing on the main deck are a signature feature of this model. Immediately aft of the helm station – fitted with three 24-inch screens – is a living area containing a generous corner sofa, a dining area – on this first unit in a formal version with free standing furniture – and a fully integrated galley/bar in spaces directly overlooking the cockpit. This innovative design solution again underscores the focus on creating fluid, intercommunicating spaces. The black elements in the kitchen area create a slight contrast with the pale parquet and are colour-coordinated with the metallic silver lacquered ceiling, which features multiple intersecting diagonal LED lights that diffuse light across the entire deck – from exterior to interior – in a pared-down design that focuses on multiple angles.
The sundeck is very spacious – at 23 square metres, it’s 60% larger than the category average – while at the same time guaranteeing internal space of gran turismo proportions. This effect is partly due to the sleekly dynamic arch-shaped deckhouse. The hard-top available for the sundeck – this first unit has one – is made of carbon fibre to deliver the utmost in performance and aesthetic appearance.
Equipped with three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines, Pershing GTX80 reaches a top speed of 34 knots (preliminary data) and a cruising speed of 28 knots.

THE NEW PERSHING GTX80 - 2ND MODEL IN THE GTX RANGE
A SPECTACULAR EXPERIENCE OF PERFORMANCE, DESIGN AND SPORTINESS
raising on-board comfort and liveability to new levels, along with the excellent performance and extreme sportiness encoded in Pershing’s DNA
![]() |
The Pershing GTX80 is synonymous with fun, total control and unchallenged supremacy. Characterised by beautifully seamless connections between the internal and external spaces, this new GTX80 design follows in the wake of the GTX range’s flagship, launched in spring 2023, and reprises the philosophy that inspired this new generation of sports boats, that of.
The splendid result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the design firm headed by Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department, the hull was built at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility, bringing together advanced technologies and Pershing’s signature craftsmanship.
At around 24 metres long and 5.80 metres in the beam, this new design in the GTX range is characterised by generous open spaces, areas in direct contact with the sea, maximum on-board liveability and excellent performance. The yacht has two decks and a sportbridge and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests thanks to the new four-cabin layout. There is also a cabin with two beds for the crew. Pershing GTX80 is a masterpiece of balance and architectural harmony in which design meets technology to elevate and transform a sporty motor yacht into a work of avant-garde nautical art.
EXTERIOR DESIGN AND MAIN FEATURES
Pershing GTX80 is the result of an in-depth study of proportions in which the external lines show an impressively refined volumetric equilibrium between superstructure and hull, giving the model an architectural harmony that is new for sports motor yachts of this size.
The exterior lines in this new design are characterised by the Pershing brand’s signature stylistic elements and innovative choices. One example of this combination is the profile of the hull, which has a near vertical bow and a continuous, slightly convex sheer-line.
In another striking feature, the bulwarks in the bow section have been lightened by a longitudinal slot, while those in the stern have a dual function, both incorporating the winches and converting into lateral terraces that swing down to provide even more contact with the water. The stern platform has three different positions, making it an extremely important feature of the boat. It can be left in the default position, or raised using the dual linear lift function so that it extends and integrates the aft living area, together with the lateral terraces when open. It can also be used to launch the tenders.
The sundeck is very spacious – at 23 m2 it’s 60% larger than the category average – but at the same time guarantees internal space of gran turismo proportions. This effect is partly due to the sleekly dynamic arch-shaped deckhouse and the carbon fabric hard-top – the real novelty of this model and an optional – which offers the perfect way to lighten up the superstructure, guaranteeing maximum performance and maintaining a chromatically uniform finish.
INTERIOR DESIGN AND LAYOUT
The interior design reflects Pershing’s cruising style and approach to life on board, both extremely dynamic. The new Pershing GTX80 brings owner and guests even closer to the sea, not least thanks to the layout of the main deck saloon, where the configuration of the exterior glazing – which extends below the lateral walkways – ensures seamless visual contact with the water, even when sitting on the sofas.
Still on the main deck, the generous interior volumes are obtained with a partially full-beam saloon, offering better liveability and an innovative approach to the decor, designed for conviviality and informal use.
Another new development in this area is the innovative layout of the open galley-bar, which is fully integrated into the lounge setting and opens out onto the cockpit, acting as the main hub connecting and enhancing the painstaking interior design work on the main deck.
Sculptural architecture is a feature of all Pershing GTX80’s interiors, showcasing seamless interconnection between the lounge and the cockpit, which is also illuminated by lighting integrated in the ceiling. The division of the lacquered ceiling panels with metallic silver paint creates an interplay of intersecting diagonal LED lights, ensuring uniform light diffusion across the entire deck – from exterior to interior – with a pared-down design that focuses on multiple angles.
The highly customised interior decoration is epitomised by the master cabin, which is clad from top to bottom in cloud-effect sky blue leather panelling, applied with different spacings and widths, in the ultimate expression of the style concept underpinning this new project.
The colour pairings have been chosen to point up contrasts, with the leather sofas in pale but warm colour tones combined with colder steel-effect metallic lacquer, just as the sky blue leather in the cabins is juxtaposed with the warmer feel of the theme wood. All the bathroom areas have metallic lacquered panels on the walls and feature sculptural furniture in a sky blue similar to the leather in the cabins. The spacious, comfortable cabins guarantee maximum privacy for guests with respect to the crew quarters, which are accessed from the outdoor cockpit area through a door under the staircase leading up to the flybridge, hiding it from view.
In perfect Pershing style, this new project speaks the language of technology, not only in terms of the engineering, but also as a stylistic hallmark enhanced by the materials chosen for this extremely comfortable environment. The various settings use materials featuring tones that are evocative of steel, water and electricity. Each material is also powerfully three-dimensional: from metallic lacquers to sky blue leather, all the surfaces are enhanced by finishings that are never repetitive and colour tones that often change depending on the point of view.
The raised helm station in the bow has 360-degree visibility, thanks in part to the huge windshield with no central pillar and the extensive use of continuous glazing. A sunroof above the windshield can be opened for natural ventilation.
PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY
Pershing GTX80 is a planing boat equipped with three 1,000 mhp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1350 engines that reaches a top speed of 34 knots (preliminary data) and a cruising speed of 28 knots. The yacht will have CE Class A certification, the safest for boats under 24 m.

FERRETTI GROUP - NEW PROJECTS/WORLD PREMIERES
FERRETTI GROUP: THE FUTURE OF NAUTICAL EXCELLENCE
World Premieres: Riva El-Iseo, 1st full-electric model in the new E-Luxury segment & wallypower50, versatile & high-speed Wally weekender
![]() |
The Düsseldorf Boat Show, one of the yachting world’s most prestigious events and an excellent showcase for the latest innovations and trends in the industry, provides the backdrop for Ferretti Group’s press conference held today, Saturday January 20, to share the latest news and projects for 2024.
2023 was a particularly important year for Ferretti Group which, after closing financial 2022 with excellent results, completed the dual listing on Euronext Milan following their debut in Hong Kong. Ferretti Group is now a public company in every sense of the term, with over 50% of the share capital traded on the market, supported by qualified Italian and international investors.
“Ferretti Group's 2024 kicks off under the banner of innovation and sustainability, the two main coordinates for the future of yachting. El-Iseo, Riva’s first full-electric powerboat, is proof that the world’s most highly renowned shipyard is also the one that rises to and wins the challenges of today. Here at Düsseldorf, we also presented the world premiere of wallypower50, another groundbreaking addition to the Wally range,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi during the Boot Düsseldorf press conference. “Sustainable development also means expanding our production capacity by creating spaces where people can work in the best possible conditions. With this in mind, in December we officially opened the new area in the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, and we are making investments in the over 70,000 sqm production hub in Ravenna". Ferretti Group’s 2024 has only just begun and promises great things.
As well as seeing the company in an excellent economic and financial situation – as testified by data for the first nine months of 2023, reporting revenues of EUR 856.4 million, up 9.8% on the first nine months the previous year, and adjusted EBITDA of EUR 124.8 million, an increase of 17.7% on the first nine months of 2022 – 2023 was also a year of major new developments in terms of production capacity, with a 20% rise in global surface area as a result of recent redevelopments and acquisitions that added over 425.4 thousand square metres in the first half of 2023 (the total was 355.4 thousand square metres at the end of 2022).
All eyes remain on the upcoming world premieres, starting with: Riva El-Iseo, a fusion of evergreen elegance with latest-generation technology. After the presentation of the prototype in September 2022 at the Monaco Yacht Show, followed by successful completion of a cycle of complex technical and reliability tests, the official version of the first Riva model created for the E-Luxury segment is now ready for sale.
The German boat show also saw the world debut of the new wallypower50. This high-speed model in the wallypower range is also available in an outboard version – the wallypower50X – that has an even higher top speed but without affecting outstanding living comfort. Wally is also presenting a series of new sailing yachts in 2024, with the announcement of two new launches this summer: the wallywind110 cruiser-racer, a perfect combination of bluewater cruiser and high-performance racing yacht, and the wallyrocket51, the one-design pure racer created to be a winner in a wide range of competitions thanks to innovative features, ultra-light displacement and a high-performance hull. Also in the spotlight was the wallywhy range with the latest new model, wallywhy100, which was presented at a private preview in Venice last December and will be on display at the upcoming boat shows.
The main novelty from Ferretti Yachts is the new Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO 80. Part of the innovative and sustainable INFYNITO range, this yacht offers two versions of the flybridge – open or semi-closed – and features versatile spaces. At Pershing, development work continues on the GTX80 project that will join the flagship this year.
