Riva 102 Corsaro Superthe new era of flybridge Image 1 body

La Spezia, January 26th, 2023

To engage with heritage and contemporary trends, raising the standards of aesthetics, liveability and comfort through innovations in design, style and technology: this is the source of inspiration behind every boat that comes out from one of Riva’ shipyards. The flybridge range is no exception, as it continues to renew itself with new models of timeless elegance and lines that reach out towards the future, such as Riva 82' Diva, a brand new project by the Sarnico-based brand whose name was unveiled during the Ferretti Group press conference at Boot Düsseldorf, and Riva 102' Corsaro Super, the flybridge that pays tribute to one of the best loved top sellers in recent years, 100’ Corsaro.

Riva 102’ Corsaro Super is more than a successor, it is the evolution of a success, driven by a clear design vision to explore, re-elaborate and augment. Faithful to the sporty, streamlined lines of its predecessor, the latest addition to Riva's flybridge range has an unmistakable profile, even more elegant and decisive: masterful brushstrokes of dark colour, from the large window that runs along the entire hull to the design of the hard top, create new modern, fluid and harmonious lines, giving life to a boat with a completely new image.

With a length overall of 30.24 meters (99ft 3in) and a maximum beam of 6.70 meters (22ft 0in), Riva 102’ Corsaro Super is the result of collaboration between Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

Among the standout new features of Riva 102’ Corsaro Super is the complete design makeover of the superstructure, based on a contemporary, sporty concept and more generous dimensions. The yacht’s distinctive silhouette reaches out like an arrowhead, giving her a sleek and assertive profile. Aft, new glass fashion plates improve the vessel's aerodynamics.
On board Riva 102’ Corsaro Super, there is a clear focus on space optimization and ever more direct contact with the sea, aiming for a unique cruising experience.

EXTERNAL AREAS
On boarding Riva 102’ Corsaro Super, you can’t fail to notice one of the main new features of this model: the completely redesigned aft area, creating a full-fledged beach club that extends over more than 35 square meters and ticks all the boxes of owners in search of ever more contact with the sea and with nature in their relaxation area. The 15 square meter swim platform has been lowered, with lateral access to the cockpit on either side and an extra large, extra comfortable sun lounger in the center, hiding the entrance to the garage area. Two recessed doors, one on either side of the sun lounger, provide access to two large storage areas (280 liters each).
The 20 square meter cockpit is functional and elegant, furnished with a comfy sofa that can be combined with freestanding furniture, such as a teak dining table and “Riviera” model chairs - produced by renowned Italian design firm Talenti - or a coffee table, perfect to transform this setting from a relaxation space to a dining area according to the owner’s needs and preferences. On the starboard side, before entering the main lounge, an outdoor staircase connects the cockpit area with the upper deck, while a large bar unit with an icemaker is located on the port side.

MAIN DECK
The dominant wood in the main lounge is Canaletto walnut, which is set off in inimitable Riva style by polished surfaces that create a magnificent play of reflections in conjunction with the light entering through the extensive windows. The ceilings and floors are light in colour - satin-finish titanium-effect lacquer and fine wool carpet respectively - contrasting with polished black Marquina marble accents repeated the entire length of the yacht, from bow to stern.
The interior design of the main lounge and its arrangement are the result of meticulous restyling. Two layouts are available, each created to meet the different needs expressed by owners. In the standard version, the dining area with its generous table seating eight is aft, while the living space is the main feature of the central area in the boat. A second layout is also available, in which the living area, generous sofas and armchairs are near the entrance, creating a single continuous space with the outdoor relaxation area. The dining table, on the other hand, is located forward part of the lounge, near the galley situated aft on the same deck. In both configurations, the living and dining areas are visually separated by an optical illusion created by an elegant black or white marble frame with a high-polish finish extending up the walls; on request, marble inserts can also be laid perpendicularly across the floor for an even more striking effect. The lighting in the area is provided by linear inserts in the wall panels and the ceiling, creating delicate patterns of light that illuminate the rooms without overpowering. The television is centrally positioned and has a 75-inch screen in the more classic layout - set in a stainless steel frame featuring linear lighting niches - while in the layout with the lounge aft, it has a 55-inch screen and drops down from a recess in the ceiling above the sofa.

Light is the star of the show across the entire main deck: the large windows open onto the side walkways, allowing natural light to enter and permeate the whole yacht, reflecting off the furnishings’ polished surfaces and ensuring that contact with the outside world is never lost.

Further forward on the starboard side is the spacious 11 sq m galley, designed with a horseshoe layout to fully exploit the available space. The work top is white Corian and the cupboard doors are polished white lacquer; the appliances, including the American fridge, and the wall cladding are satin-finish stainless steel. The crew’s extending wood dining table is opposite the entrance, next to the door leading down to the lower deck and the crew quarters.

On the left side of the main lounge is the entrance to the large, elegant owner’s suite, which is full-beam and extends forward into the bow. This cabin is the crown jewel of the yacht, with windows redesigned and extended to two metres in length, amplifying the sense of space that is a distinctive feature of the widebody configuration and offering a breathtaking view on both sides of the yacht. On the outside, the redesigned windows are a new graphic sign that contributes to refreshing the yacht's line. The refined minimalism of the interior decor in the master cabin is based on an alternation between the pale hues of the carpet, fabrics and upholstery, and the dark tones of the Canaletto walnut furniture and walls characterized by mirror-finish surfaces and cool colourways. The kingsize bed, with a black leather headboard and sides, is the standout feature in the center of the cabin, framed by black back-painted glass elements. Opposite the bed is another black back-painted glass panel for a television in a stainless steel frame. On the lefthand side of the master cabin is a dormeuse with off-white Loro Piana Bouclè fabric cushions and three cleverly designed storage drawers underneath it. On the opposite side, facing the dormeuse, is a triangular-section top completely clad in black back-painted glass, acting as a desk with a view out over the water. Forward, the full-beam bathroom is furnished with an elegant C-shaped basin that can be customized according to the owner’s tastes and is also available in black or white marble, with double basins. On the two sides of the bathroom are the toilet area and shower stall. The owner’s cabin is completed by a spacious wardrobe at the entrance, with full-height black back-painted glass doors and stainless steel handles.

In the master stateroom, like the guest cabins on the lower deck, the style reprises the wood on the main deck, with chiaroscuro contrasts and mirror-finish surfaces creating plays of light and shade with the large windows on either side of the suite. As always, there has been a special focus on acoustic insulation in this area. The forward and aft walls in the master suite have additional insulation to guarantee maximum comfort, protecting against noise from both other areas and the galley.

LOWER DECK
The guest areas are arranged into three VIP double cabins and a guest cabin with twin beds, all with ensuite bathrooms and all decorated with the elegant play on pale and dark colours that is a distinguishing feature of the yacht’s interiors. All the cabins have wardrobes, in addition to storage space hidden under both the bed and the bedside tables.
Forward, the crew quarters consist of the captain’s cabin with ensuite bathroom, and two identical cabins for the crew with bunk beds and a private bathroom.

Aft, in addition to the engine room, the spacious garage can contain two water toys and a Williams 445 L tender. The entire area is a perfect combination of comfort and practicality, with quick and easy procedures for launching and hauling up the tender and water toys.

UPPER DECK
The flybridge, which is reached from the main deck via a steel staircase, can be furnished aft with sunbeds and freestanding furniture in neutral colours like pale grey. Further forward, and completely covered by the hard top, are the cocktail area - complete with a bar unit offering plenty of storage, a fridge, a grill, an optional icemaker and tall stools - and the alfresco dining area. On the starboard side is the second helm station, which has an integrated NSOevo3S navigation system with a 16-inch touchscreen display. The generous bow area, connected to the flybridge by a side walkway on the port side, offers 17 square meters of space fitted out with a large sunpad and a forward-facing panoramic sofa. Still further forward is a completely soundproofed technical room that provides storage and can also contain a washing machine and clothes dryer.

PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY
At the owner’s request, the new Riva 102’ Corsaro Super can be fitted with the standard pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96 engines, rated 2,435 mhp each for top and cruising speeds of 26 and 23 knots respectively, or a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines rated 2,638 mhp, driving the yacht to a top speed of over 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots.

The raised bridge is on the upper deck and can be reached from both the yacht’s exterior, via the flybridge, and from the interior, via a staircase on the main deck located near the storeroom. The cockpit has also been revamped in its design and improved in its styling: ergonomic and elegant, it has a TwinDisc electro-hydraulic steering system with independent control of the rudders for sporty turn optimisation and a SIMRAD COMMAND LOOP navigation system. This technology integrates onboard monitoring with navigation and manoeuvring controls, allowing the entire yacht to be managed from five touchscreen monitors (16-inch in the standard version and optionally 19-inch) set up to display the various functions and control systems according to the captain’s preferences. Behind the pilot seat, which can be adjusted to ensure maximum cruising comfort, is a comfy L-shaped sofa.

Riva 102’ Corsaro Super is fitted with automatic Hydrotab dynamic trim interceptors, guaranteeing maximum simplicity of use and optimized fuel consumption. To minimize rolling both at anchor and under way, the yacht is equipped with Sleipner Vector Fins. Upon request, two Seakeeper NG9 systems can be installed for even more stability and maximum comfort on board.

FERRETTI YACHTS InFYnito 90: beyond imagination

FERRETTI YACHTS INFYNITO 90: beyond imagination.
''at boot Düsseldorf, Ferretti Yachts presented the first model in the new range that creates a limitless experience of sky and sea'

Ferretti Yachts InFYnito 90 beyond imagination Image body

Forlì, January 25, 2023

Once again Ferretti Yachts chooses the perspective of owners to imagine a new and superior cruising experience. Ferretti Yachts InFYnito lets them enjoy life on board as if the yacht were an extension of their home, somewhere to breathe in the light and where the dialogue between interior and exterior gives a feeling of total fulfilment.

The new range, which contains the brand’s initials (FY) in its name, introduces a style that gives shape to owners’ new needs: seamless contact with the surrounding environment, more sustainable materials and navigation, custom detailing, and a direct link with the sea and the sky.

The key innovation is visual continuity between interiors and exteriors, connecting the boat to the horizon as never before. This is how the experience becomes infinite: with no more limits and boundaries, the view sweeps far and wide and navigation is more authentic and personal. The understated design is clean and balanced, expressing a more natural and sustainable approach to cruising increasingly embraced by owners.

Ferretti Yachts InFYnito is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior design and hulls are by Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are the work of Ideaeitalia.

The first model in the new range to debut in 2023 is Ferretti Yachts InFYnito 90. With an overall length of 26.97 metres (88ft 6in) - but Lh under 24 metres and therefore classified as a recreational craft with CE certification - and a maximum beam of 7.33 metres (24ft 1in), the yacht is designed to give cruising enthusiasts an incomparable new experience. The outdoor and indoor settings blend into one another in an unparalleled continuum, creating spaces that can be customized and are more generous than the standard in the category. With over 100 square metres of open-air living spaces (almost 50% more than the segment average) and over 140 square metres of interiors (over 25% more than the average), including a main deck and a skylounge featuring particularly impressive volumes, the new Ferretti Yachts InFYnito 90 is a clear stand-out in the market. Owners can also choose between different layouts for each deck, ranging from open-plan spaces to more formal settings reserved for day and night time privacy, offering an experience that can be fully customized according to personal needs.

Ferretti Yachts InFYnito 90 can be fitted with a pair of MAN V12 engines rated up to 1,800 mHP (in the optional version), driving the yacht to a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots (preliminary data). And with the new high-efficiency hull, the yacht has a range of 1,200 nm at an economy cruising speed of 12 kt.

Ferretti Yachts InFYnito is a range inspired by explorer vessels, boats designed for long voyages and to welcome guests in total comfort, giving the owner that “just like home”  feeling in the intimacy, safety and relaxing atmosphere of a space that embodies this concept.
The new range will also introduce F.S.E.A. technology (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture) to the industry, a package of environmentally friendly cruising solutions. They include a solar roof that generates electricity and charges a lithium battery pack to power onboard services. This technology lets the owner and guests enjoy the yacht in hotel mode, creating an atmosphere of total relaxation with zero emissions everywhere on board. The choice of greener materials is also significant: ecological paints, sustainable teak, recyclable fabrics and leathers.

The new range will also feature a brand new generation of ultra-high efficiency hulls, offering unprecedented levels of comfort at low speeds and fast displacement performance over 20 knots. The cruising range values are also unprecedented, allowing the owner to reach faraway destinations in total comfort and relaxation.

Another key point of the new range is the development of the Main Deck, where the view sweeps seamlessly from interior to exterior and from bow to stern. The design of this space is one of the Ferretti Yachts InFYnito’s most distinctive and iconic features, offering a ground-breaking ‘all season terrace’ that as well as being spectacular is inviting, atmospheric, hidden from prying eyes at the quayside and functional at sea in all weather conditions.

THE VISION OF FILIPPO SALVETTI: “The owner experience is the baseline of the creative process”
“The design strategy - comments designer Filippo Salvetti – springs from the idea of prioritizing the people who will be living in Ferretti Yachts InFynito, of establishing the owner’s experience as the baseline of the creative process, of asking ourselves what could still amaze and satisfy the expectations of our increasingly sophisticated end customers”.

“We’ve explored new forms and innovative functions – explains Salvetti – invented new spaces and new ways of living the yacht. The new paradigm embraces enhanced lighting, elimination of visual barriers and the creation of new diaphragm spaces between interior and exterior, ambiences that are open but sheltered and intimate”.

A balanced, cosy and aesthetically sophisticated and harmonious ambience that can also be enjoyed for extended periods and all seasons: Ferretti Yachts InFYnito is a private place at sea in which to welcome guests and offer them elegance in total harmony with the surrounding environment. The yacht meets the owner’s requirements in every aspect: the intimacy of an exceptional residence on the waves, 5-star hospitality for guests, optional space for wellness, and maximum conviviality even when underway.
In the design’s vision, the innovative Ferretti Yachts InFYnito range, already a sure trendsetter, revolves around a handful of very telling keywords: otherness (it’s conceptually innovative compared with the dominant approach), flexibility, comfort and advanced design.

THE VISION OF IDEAEITALIA: “The yacht is a new place to live in, an extension of your home”

Striking design, uniquely identifying forms and solutions: the yachts in the Ferretti Yachts InFYnito range encapsulate all the uniqueness of a truly innovative project. “The Ferretti Yachts InFYnito range addresses a segment that needed new concepts – comment Ideaeitalia’s Davide Bernardini and Alessio Battistini – The chief aim of the interior design process was to heighten the perception of space by creating virtuous layouts in which harmony reigns between the sophisticated aesthetic impact and the management of spaces that are always functional and efficient. Ferretti Yachts InFYnito is designed for owners who are increasingly seeing their yacht as a new place to live in, as an extension of their homes”.

The key qualities of this new generation of yachts are versatility and interior layout customization, as well as the introduction of new eco-sustainable materials. There are recycled and recyclable elements in the fabrics, woods and finishings, along with a priority commitment to energy efficiency, including optimization of the lighting and air conditioning systems.

Contamination with residential decor is quite clear: “The keywords now are sobriety, clean lines, softness and equilibrium of forms and materials - continue Bernardini and Battistini – but without lapsing into minimalism. The upholstery and coverings are characterized by soft radial patterns that transmit positivity; the reflections in the mirror walls give even the spaces less open to the outside a sensation of spatial infinity, a key feature of this innovative project”.

COMFORT AND SPORTINESS AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS FOR THE NEW FLYBRIDGE FROM FERRETTI YACHTS
'prestigious international prize'

Ferretti Yachts 580modern luxury has a new star Image body

Düsseldorf, January 23rd, 2023

A sporty personality, contemporary taste and pared-down design: the new Ferretti Yachts 580 combines the brand’s hallmark comfort, modern luxury and wellbeing, becoming the new star of the flybridge range.

With a length overall of 18.24 metres (59 ft 10in) and a maximum beam of 5 meters (16ft 5in), Ferretti Yachts 580 is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior styling is once again by architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are the work of Ideaeitalia as part of the firm’s ongoing collaboration with Ferretti Yachts.

With an eye-catching design and a strong personality, the new flybridge from Ferretti Yachts raises the combination of sporty exterior styling and liveable interior spaces to its highest level yet. The sleek, sculpted lines of the deckhouse give a decidedly aggressive look to a boat designed primarily for comfort, ‘clothing it in sportswear’ if you like.

Stylistic intuitions and layout solutions that chime with current trends and the needs of expert owners make it possible to take full advantage of every area on board, delivering the volume and liveability usually found on larger boats.
Turning to the technology, Ferretti Yachts 580 incorporates the best solutions developed for larger models in the range, offering owners the maximum in terms of functionality, as well as a personalised configuration that matches their own navigation and mooring preferences.

FLYBRIDGE
With a surface area of about 18m2, the flybridge on the Ferretti Yachts 580 can be enjoyed at any time of day, thanks to functional, practical spaces that adapt to any need and seamless 360-degree contact with the water.
Forward, a large sun pad stretches across the full beam of the yacht, while on the starboard side, opposite the helm station, a chaise longue or small sofa provide the ultimate in relaxation.
The stern, on the other hand, is reserved for the dining area: a comfortable C-shaped sofa, with a teak table in the centre, skirts the rear perimeter and, together with a multifunctional bar unit, provides the perfect setting for convivial moments.
The unusually generous furnishings, even compared with boats in the same category, are hidden behind a smoked glass screen running around the entire perimeter to the stern, ensuring that the boat retains its sporty look.
Two solutions are available to shade the flybridge: an electrically operated bimini top or a fixed hard top.

EXTERNAL AREAS
All the outdoor areas on the main deck are versatile, optimized spaces, with those dedicated to relaxation and comfort standing out from the rest.
In the bow area, innovative design solutions have resulted in an even more generously sized living space. Thanks to a sofa set into the bow structure, the length of the forward section of the deckhouse has been reduced, freeing up space for the dinette, where a spacious sun pad is the stand-out feature.
The cockpit is located aft and contains a forward-facing sofa and a teak table, creating the perfect al fresco dining area. A new feature of Ferretti Yachts 580 is the dual identity of this area: by moving the sofa further aft, lowering the teak table and then covering it with cushions, the dining area can be transformed into a generous sun pad.
A special focus on optimizing storage space in the external areas has resulted in the creation of 65-litre compartments in the transom and under the starboard staircase leading up to the flybridge, while on the port side of the cockpit a cabinet can be equipped with a third mooring station and an icemaker.
A tender (optional, Williams 325) can be stowed on the stern swim platform, which is equipped with a lift function for easy launch and recovery. When the platform is lowered, retracting steps facilitate boarding and disembarkation.

MAIN DECK
The versatile configuration continues inside, with interior decor available in two different moods: Classic and Contemporary. Both feature a clean, rational and tactile design aligned with the “Just like home” brand concept, offering owners pleasure of an elegant and inviting setting.

The Classic mood taps into warm, earthy elements, while Contemporary features glowing woods and fabrics in fresh hues inspired by the colours of the sea, and both share unmistakable Made in Italy styling. Both styles are defined by refined and understated interiors that reference contemporary residential design; projects that unite practicality and exclusiveness, for settings that express the idea of absolute comfort and discreet luxury.

In terms of the layout, the galley located aft has a bar counter near the cockpit, where an electrically operated retracting window creates a spacious area for socialising that takes advantage of seamless continuity between the exterior and the galley. The possibility of using the counter for American-style breakfasts makes it possible to take full advantage of this space and improves functionality.

The living area is also available in two versions, with a fixed TV screen on the starboard side (up to 65-inch) or a second sofa with incorporated TV lift.

The pilot house has two helm chairs designed by Poltrona Frau and a 3D-printed dashboard, allowing it to be customized with a modern, avant-garde design.

LOWER DECK
The lower deck too is available in two versions, both with a total of six berths in three cabins. The master suite is the result of a special development effort and spreads across two levels in the standard layout. The entrance hall provides a studio area or vanity table, access to the bathroom, and a wide stairway leading down to the sleeping area, which has a double bed, wardrobes, a small sofa and a total surface area of 17m2:
Natural light floods into the master suite through big windows and a double smoked glass skylight in the study area, creating an extraordinarily comfortable environment.
The double VIP cabin is located forward, while amidships on the starboard side is the double guest cabin with twin beds.
The entrance to the crew area is hidden behind the stern sofa in the cockpit for maximum guest privacy.

PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY
The standard pair of VOLVO PENTA D13 engines rated 900 HP delivers a top speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 24 knots (preliminary data), while the optional pair of 1000 HP VOLVO PENTA D13 engines drives the Ferretti Yachts 580 to a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 26 knots (preliminary data)
All the technology featured on the latest Ferretti Yachts models is installed on board, including Xenta trim correction systems, the Xenta electro-hydraulic steering system with optional joystick and X-AID functions, and gyroscopic stabilisation, allowing the yacht to be configured according to the owner’s specific navigation and mooring needs.

There was also a special effort to reduce noise and vibration, particularly in terms of the engine room configuration, with increased acoustic insulation for the living areas provided by the tanks positioned horizontally amidships.

'

2023 set to be another strong year for Ferretti Image 2  2023 set to be another strong year for Ferretti Image 3  2023 set to be another strong year for Ferretti Image 4

The main takeaway was the determination to continue growth along the path of innovation and sustainability

Düsseldorf, January 21st, 2023 – Ferretti Group kicked off 2023 at Boot Düsseldorf, a key industry event and the first boat show of the year, where the Group opened the presentation of its fleet with the premiere of Ferretti Yachts 580, the luxurious and ultramodern new flybridge.

The press conference, held on Saturday January 21 in the splendid setting of the German show and addressing both journalists and the trade, centred on our keenly awaited new models and also included a heads up on business strategies and project decisions.

2022 was decisive in terms of new models and extending the range, with 54 models (of which 4 sailing boats) against 42 in 2021. The new yachts from the Pershing, Wally, Riva, Custom Line, CRN, Itama and Ferretti Yachts brands are the fruit of a robust investment plan amounting to 68 million euros in the first nine months of 2022 alone. Investments in recent years have served to boost production capacity and the Group can now boast around 290,000 square metres at its various sites, up 14.5% on 2021, showing a strong positive trend also reflected in the financial results for Q3 2022, with revenues at €781.1m and an order backlog close on €1.4bn.

“This is just the beginning, as I tell all the many people who compliment us on our boats and results, and I’m not just talking about the start of 2023 of course. We’ve been determined in recent years to focus on the long term and fuel Ferretti Group’s growth with all the right ingredients: investments in innovation and sustainability, sustained recruitment of high-flying young talents, and initiatives to build on our brands, which are unique in their appeal, history and prestige,” commented Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “This, in addition to the extremely positive signals we keep getting from the market, is why I’m expecting an exciting 2023, in terms of both orders and all the beauty and wonder that our boats will be bringing to the international yachting scene.”

The conference also discussed new models and projects from the Group’s brands, ranging from Wally and its new wallypower58X project, a powerful sterndrive in the wallypower range, to progress reports on the wallywhy150, which will make its world debut at the Venice Boat Show 2023 and on which the engine has already been installed and the hull-to-deck joint completed, as well as on the wallywhy100, a model that combines all the characteristics of a 60 to 70-foot coupé and benefits from the extra volume offered by Wally.

Construction is also proceeding at a brisk pace on the wally101 full custom, the latest generation performance cruiser built from carbon fiber sandwich laminate that will be launched in the spring.

The main developments at Pershing include the new GTX 116 and the GTX80 project, which is to accompany the flagship from 2024 on.

Another revelation was the official name of the latest sensational project from Riva, the Riva 82’ Diva.

Custom Line presented its Navetta 38, the first navetta to have a deck level with the water, while Ferretti Yachts gave a world preview of its Ferretti Yachts 580, a happy symbiosis of luxury and design, as well as presenting the first model in the new InFYnito range, Ferretti Yachts InFYnito 90.

The InFYnito range is characterized by materials and an approach to cruising that respect the environment and sustainability, as well as by personalized and custom detailing and a direct link with the sea and the sky.

Works of contemporary marine art for cruising in the utmost comfort, with maximum reliability and safety. The latest six launches in less than two months bring the total to twenty Custom Line yachts completed this year at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, testifying to the ever-growing appeal of a range that delivers an immersive seagoing experience.

The tenth Custom Line Navetta 30 unit touched the water at the end of October, showing off the yacht’s modern elegance and contemporary style. With a length of 28.42 m and a beam of 7.3 m, this icon of marine excellence caught the eye of a European owner. The naval architecture designed by Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department is a perfect combination of yachting tradition, design expertise and attention to detail. The interior design is by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and the exterior styling is by Filippo Salvetti.

November 10 saw the launch of the eighth Custom Line 120’ unit, a masterpiece in the brand’s planing line. With a distinctly sporty personality defined by sleek, powerful contours and contemporary style, this superyacht has exterior styling and interior decor by Francesco Paszkowski Design, working in partnership with Margherita Casprini and the Custom Line Atelier on the interiors. Created for the most demanding and dynamic owners, this superyacht offers the maximum in terms of speed, performance and an avant-garde design aesthetic.

Custom Line Navetta 33 M/Y “Our Way”, the twenty-fifth unit built of this model, was launched on November 16 with the American owner in attendance. This luxury yacht is for lovers of long-distance cruises in maximum comfort, thanks to generous volumes and plenty of space extending across four decks. Based on a more traditional approach, the model highlights elegance, beauty and exclusiveness, so that cruising and life on board are a superlative and unforgettable experience.

Two weeks later, on November 30, M/Y “M Together” entered the water, the ninth Custom Line Navetta 42 unit, bought by a European owner. The yacht is the brand’s largest displacement model, a cutting-edge masterpiece in which engineering and design come together with impeccable style, breathing life into a model permeated by sophisticated elegance. The yacht’s four decks are characterized by plenty of space and volume, with interiors created for full customization according to the owner’s wishes and offering guests unrivalled cruising comfort.

The fifteenth superyacht in the planing line, Custom Line 106’ MY “My Mistake” was launched on December 13. Chosen by a European owner, the full power of this yacht is expressed by the pure lines and large spaces characterized by understated refinement. The minimalist design aesthetic permeates both interiors and exteriors, with interpenetrating surfaces in an architectural balance that breaks down boundaries and gives natural light a starring role to play.

Today sees the final launch of the year, which ends on a high note with the beautiful Custom Line Navetta 37 MY “Regina”. The fourteenth unit built of this superyacht, bought by an American owner, has a strong, one-of-a-kind personality that exerts a seductive force over the water. An engineering masterpiece, where volumes and cutting-edge technology are joined by sartorial attention to every detail, outstanding seaworthiness, and impeccable comfort in which to succumb to the spell cast by the infinite sea.

The success of Custom Line is unparalleled: the brand’s superyachts confirm their appeal for owners thanks to a mixture of unique and distinctive factors, the standouts being innovative onboard technology, excellent performance, and sophisticated design.
The high level of customization is the result of strategic contributions by the Custom Line Atelier, which supports the owner in every stage of the process and every decision, with the aim of creating the superyacht of their dreams.

WALLY - Ahead Of Its Time

FORWARD THINKING WALLY UNVEILS DETAILS OF WALLYWHY100 YACHT
'a bold and unique product that successfully integrates into the wallywhy range'

Ahead of its time Wally unveils details of Body

Monaco, 15 December 2022

The exterior design and naval architecture of the wallywhy100 was created by the experienced Wally-Ferretti Group Engineering team, with Studio A. Vallicelli & C. responsible for the interior design. As a crossover product, the yacht fulfils the need for a more voluminous cruiser in the sub-70ft range, combining all of the qualities of a 60-70 foot coupé boat with the benefits of the wallywhy volume.

Stefano de Vivo, Wally’s Managing Director explains the inspiration behind the model: “The wallywhy100 was born from a gap in the market. Whilst beautiful and sleek, traditional coupés do not offer the comfort and livability that today’s owners expect from their boats. In the same way, larger and more voluminous boats generally don’t offer speed or usage flexibility. This leaves owners with a tough choice: do they want to compromise on comfort or performance?”

He continues: “Through the wallywhy line, we have solved this problem by harnessing all of the product and market knowledge we have accumulated over the years. Like its predecessors wallywhy200 and wallywhy150, the wallywhy100 will be a game changer in many different markets due to its compelling value proposition and infinite usage cases for a wide demographic. 20 years from now, the industry will look at the wallywhy100 as a yacht that dared to be different.”

Luca Bassani, Wally’s Founder and Chief Designer, highlights some of the new boat's distinctive design features. “The yacht’s appearance is 100% derived from its function. It stands out from other market offerings, due to its strengthening of the relationship between functionality and performance. The closed cockpit is pushed far forward to provide space for inside/outside living which gives the wallywhy100 an eye-catching, sleek, but still aggressive, look. This is further emphasized by a large and inviting beach area which is close to the water, and a tall and imposing slightly reversed bow which guarantees a dry and safe ride in all weather conditions.”

He explains further: “Thanks to its innovative design, the wallywhy100 is a ‘jack of all trades’. It is a spectacular day or weekend boat for those who want to use it as a support vessel for their larger yacht, but at the same time, its ample cabins, generous crew quarter and relaxation areas, as well as garage and toy storage capacity make it the perfect vacation home away from land. The wallywhy100 is a boat for owners who understand their own needs and aren’t afraid to break the mould.”

Much like the larger wallywhy150 and wallywhy200 models, the wallywhy100 establishes a strong connection between the outside and inside. In contrast to many vessels of this size that divide the layout into different levels to create the illusion of more space, the Wally team doubled down on a one-level, stern-to-bow approach. This results in a hybrid area on the main deck level which can either be enjoyed closed or fully open to enable relaxed al-fresco dining.

Other standout features on board include the enormous 14sqm beach area, which is home to a large hydraulic platform for launching and retrieving tenders and toys up to 3.6m in length. A hydraulic passarelle/swim ladder ensures easy access both to and from the dock as well as from the water. Naturally, the Wally beach area is completed by its enormous folding wings that not only increase the space by almost 50% but also deliver unobstructed 180-degree views.

The full-beam master cabin is located aft. The cabin’s ensuite is made from electrically regulated glass, meaning it can be either fully transparent to enlarge the room or opaque when in use – another first for a sub-70ft yacht. In addition, the wide array of closet and storage also make this cabin unique in its class, with the side windows offering uninterrupted views of the outside.

The theme continues throughout the other two guest cabins, with a total of six people accommodated on board. A VIP stateroom on the port side and a twin on the starboard side both have dedicated en-suites and large windows, enabling the rooms to be flooded by natural light.

The crew are also well looked after on board the wallywhy100. As a feature seldom seen in this size range, dedicated crew access is provided both from the main deck and from the lower deck, without having to cross into guest spaces.

Notably too, taking its cue from the wallypower world, the forward deck of the wallywhy100 features a dedicated, multi-use lounge that can be transformed into an aperitivo area with an elevated table in the middle or into a sunlounge by lowering the table to seating height. This transformable area creates all-purpose living space for guests both at anchor and on the move.

In terms of propulsion, Wally has opted for a reliable and proven twin D13 Volvo IPS configuration with cruising speeds of 24 knots and top speeds of more than 27 knots in the upgraded IPS1350 specs.

Thanks to her joystick system and an array of high-end Volvo Penta technologies, the wallywhy100 offers an easy and smooth navigating experience, making her ideal for owners who prefer to operate the yacht themselves.

Custom Line 140 - Born Great

THE NEW CUSTOM LINE FLAGSHIP MARRIES TIMELESS ELEGANCE WITH ITALIAN DESIGN AND LEADING-EDGE TECHNOLOGY
'The brand's new flagship combines design and comfort in spaces never seen before
'

Custom Line 140 Jacuzzi  Custom Line 140 Salon  Custom Line 140 Bath

Ancona, November 7th 2022 - Custom Line inspires lovers of cruising in superior comfort to dream big by presenting the Custom Line 140’ superyacht, with a length overall of 42.61 meters and a maximum beam of 8.54 meters. The new flagship is a work of naval art that brings together innovative engineering and refined Italian savoir faire to conjure up endless emotions. The stand-out new product in the 2022-2023 yachting season, Custom Line 140’ made her world debut at the Ferretti Group Private Preview before being exhibited at the Cannes Yachting Festival and the Monaco Yacht Show.

Created in collaboration with Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee and Engineering Department, Custom Line 140’ is the third Custom Line yacht with exterior styling and interior decoration by Francesco Paszkowski Design, working in partnership with Margherita Casprini and the Custom Line Atelier on the interiors.

Custom Line 140’, with her sleek, powerful contours and contemporary style, has the distinctly sporty character that is a defining feature of the brand’s planing line, set off by unparalleled elegance and refinement: taught lines sweep from bow to stern in an exciting alternation of materials and colours represented by dark plate glass and light-coloured structural surfaces.

Another stylish detail is the painted aluminium handrail with Y-shaped uprights, an elegant and functional design feature. The hull windows are generously sized, while the floor-to-ceiling glazing on deck offers direct contact with the water.

The brand’s new flagship presents spaces never seen before, with interiors extending across over 300 m², more than 200 m² of outdoor areas and an arrangement that reflects the yacht’s superior size.

The layout is spread over four decks, with the settings designed for socializing flowing seamlessly across both exterior and interior spaces. On each deck, the areas devoted to the owner and guests are kept completely separate from those used by the crew thanks to the naval architecture developed specifically for this superyacht, featuring external walkways and interior staircases that connect the lower deck with the sun deck and are designed exclusively for use by the crew.

Despite her majestic size, Custom Line 140’ has a gross tonnage of 398 GT. The skillful use of composite material and carbon fiber for the hull, the superstructure and the hard top on the sun deck keeps both the weight and draft low, ideal for navigating in shallow waters like the Caribbean Sea. All this adds incalculable value to the yacht’s design and underscores the beauty and liveability of interiors offering ceilings over 2 meters high on each deck and an unparalleled level of comfort.

Every single feature of the Custom Line 140’ is the result of meticulous research and attention to detail. The star of the show is natural light, which floods into every setting on the yacht through expansive floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces.
The interiors are defined by neutral, natural tones and richly textured materials that gratify the senses on both a tactile and visual level. The result is perfect harmony between furnishings, finishings and design solutions across the entire yacht, ensuring total freedom and absolute privacy on board for both owner and guests.

The interiors are designed to the highest standards of quality and attention to detail, in line with Custom Line’s tailor-made approach and an expression of the outstanding know-how, skills and expertise of the Custom Line Atelier, the entire project management team working in partnership with the production team, and all the highly specialised craftsmen involved in the design and production process.

Standing out in the choice of furnishings are the beauty and colours defined for the exteriors and the interior living spaces on the main and upper decks, where the larger-than-life personality of the sofas and chairs features light, sophisticated colours alternating with bolder colours and refined materials.

MAIN DECK
The main deck is characterized by total integration of the interior and exterior spaces, as well as by clear separation between guest areas and crew workspaces to ensure complete privacy for the owner.

A full-height glass door with both sliding and hinge mechanisms unites the living area with the exterior lounge: a convivial 30 m² area stylishly decorated for maximum comfort.

The 45 m² main saloon with dining and living areas is a formal setting defined by flowing lines that perfectly express Custom Line’s signature elegance, design and sophistication, with a palette of materials and decorations ranging from ivory-hued natural leather to dark oak parquet floor. Particularly worthy of note is the refined craftsmanship embodied by the diamond-cut leather used as finishing for the ceiling and to upholster the furniture.

Huge spaces, 2.10 metre ceiling heights and four giant windows in the hull sides - the first of which on the starboard side can be opened - convey a feeling of fluidity and amplify the volumes, establishing intense, direct contact with the sea.

Continuing along the deck, the central lobby has a minimalist staircase - dominated by the iconic design pendant lights made of warm and sensual Murano blown glass - connecting the main deck to the lower and upper decks. This generously sized setting usually found on yachts over 50 meters opens out aft onto the dining room with its table seating 10 guests.

Forward, the exclusive 44 m² full-beam owner’s apartment is a huge yet intimate living space with an ever-present view of the water. The entrance has a double walk-in wardrobe and leads to the room dominated by the central bed, characterized by a sophisticated, modern design. Here the masterful skill of Custom Line’s craftsmen is revealed by the light-coloured, ribbed wood panelling on a mirrored backing.

The lateral windows on the starboard side also make it possible to offer the version featuring a terrace suspended over the water: a simple, functional hydraulic mechanism extends the floor platform and handrail system out from the hull, creating a personal and totally private terrace for the owner’s exclusive use.

The full-beam owner’s bathroom creates another private oasis of well-being in the master suite, featuring a spacious shower and the exclusive designer tub with timeless, modern styling.

The service areas are amidships, including the all-stainless steel professional kitchen designed with plenty of storage.

The well-organised, functional service areas on the port side of each deck - from the main to the sun deck - are interconnected by an internal staircase and a service lift, making it easier for the crew to move between the main galley and up to the sun deck, while ensuring total privacy for guests.

LOWER DECK
The lower deck offers three VIP cabins and a guest cabin with twin beds, all with en-suite bathrooms.

The colours, materials and decorations reprise the approach used in the settings on the main deck, featuring predominantly natural grey and taupe colourways to convey the exquisitely warm and welcoming feeling experienced in your own home. The ceilings and made-to-measure furniture are upholstered in suede, while the walls are clad in sand flamed oak. A distinctive detail of the furnishings, the storage cabinets are made of glass lined with an inner metal mesh, creating a play of transparencies.

Forward in the bow, the comfortable crew area contains three double cabins with en-suite bathrooms, accommodating six members of staff, while the large captain’s cabin with en-suite bathroom is next to the bridge on the upper deck.

Located aft are the large engine room and, on the port side, the garage for a Williams SportJet 525 tender and a jet ski. Launching and recovering the tender are made easier thanks to the lowering of the sled that it acts as a ramp.

The beach area is a huge platform in the stern of the yacht, with latest generation electro-hydraulic system that transforms the aft deck into a water’s edge terrace. This spacious private beach features a solarium, with the option of converting it into a fully multifunctional open-air lounge space, and seamless continuity between the interiors and exteriors of the yacht and the sea, as well as being fully appointed with structural and service furniture, allowing the owner family and guests to move freely from one side of the vessel to the other.
Completely free of technical elements, this area can be furnished with free-standing furniture according to the owner’s wishes.

UPPER DECK
The upper deck is divided into two distinct, multifunctional outdoor areas. Forward there is a spacious living area with comfortable seating, tables and sunbathing areas in which to fully experience the emotion of being in direct contact with the water, connected directly to the alfresco dining area aft through two side walkways, one on the starboard side for the exclusive use of the owner and guests, and the other on the port side for crew. A garage located forward can accommodate a tender or rescue boat.
Aft, the huge cockpit has a lounge area in the stern and a comfortable dining area accommodating up to 10 people around the impressive dining table, as well as over 42 m² to enjoy at any time of day, in direct communication with the panoramic indoor skylounge that extends across more than 25 m². These two interconnected settings ensure an absolutely authentic indoor-outdoor experience thanks to sliding doors with a fully opening hinge mechanism and the floor-to-ceiling windows that open on both hull sides, enhancing the feeling of lightness and creating an oasis of tranquility with a 180-degree close-up view of the marine environment.

SUNDECK
The sundeck is a uniquely special area that stands out for its sheer space, with over 70 m² split into three virtual outdoor areas that come together to offer a unique 360-degree view in direct contact with the water.

The relaxation area further aft, with a hydromassage tub and sunbeds, and the American bar area forward, with its impressive structural counter, are united amidships with the extended lounge area, which is furnished with wide sofas designed to adapt to different convivial situations and sheltered by the carbon fiber hard top.

Access to the deck is from a stairway aft for guests and a recessed staircase forward used exclusively by the crew.

PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY
The Custom Line 140’ superyacht is fitted with a pair of MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines rated 2,638 mhp each. On this superyacht, like all latest generation Custom Line yachts, is available, at the request of the owner, the IMO TIER III certification, (International Maritime Organization), which ensure environmental protection in the shipbuilding industry by reducing toxic emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust fumes and reflect Ferretti Group’s design vision, with its strong focus on environmental friendliness and sustainable development.

There are many new features on this masterpiece of naval design inspired by residential architecture, to which it adds in-depth research to enhance the shapes and volumes involved.

The fast displacement hull gives the yacht a top speed of 21.5 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots, an undeniable plus point considering the yacht’s volume and displacement. With a gross tonnage of just under 400 GT, Custom Line 140’ is the largest yacht ever built by the brand, using innovative light weighting technology, carbon fiber and hybrid materials to deliver high performance.

The raised bridge on the upper deck is fitted with the I-Bridge® Integrated Bridge Solution, which combines the unique cruising experience of the yachting industry’s top captains with electronic engineering know-how. The result is a product that is safe, reliable and easy to use, but also ergonomic and with an elegantly smart design. The “Multicontrol system” makes it easy to manage all the various systems using the same smart and intuitive logical interface, made up of four 24-inch touchscreen monitors or optional 27-inch screens.

As part of the effort to maximise cruising and navigation comfort, the various settings on the yacht all enjoy peerless acoustic comfort and privacy, based on a detailed analysis of each individual noise source and its position in the yacht. Floating floors, special materials and additional insulation between bulkheads and in ceilings are just a few of the innovative solutions used. There is also a special focus on privacy and on separating the guest area from the crew quarters and technical spaces, with sealed passageways making it easier to block out disturbances.
Comfort in navigation and mooring is also guaranteed by Naiad 525 stabilizing fins, and by 3 optional Seakeeper NG18 gyroscopic stabilizers.

NEW Riva 76’ Bahamas Super

RIVA STYLE AND SUPERLATIVE TECHNOLOGY
'
“The yacht with the spirit of both an open and a coupe is back

 Riva76BahamasSuperNewCruising 0009 60890  Riva76BahamasSuperNewCruising 0012 60894  Riva76BahamasSuperNewCruising 0021 60903

The NEW Riva 76 Bahamas Super offers a host of new features in terms of digital innovation, functionality and storage, for a cruising experience as comfortable as it’s exciting.

Sarnico, 2nd November, 2022 - In 2016, Riva 76’ Bahamas wrote an indelible page in the history of yachting, design and luxury, enriching the art of cruising with an extraordinary boat that is a distillation of timeless appeal and innovative technology. Six years later, this iconic Riva model is back in the spotlight with a radical and innovative restyling that proposes new functions, up-to-date spaces and unprecedented storage solutions.
Riva 76’ Bahamas is the magnificent result of collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, working in partnership with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Developed on the 76’ Perseo Super naval platform, the coupe has an overall length of over 23 metres and is already an object of desire for every owner, representing an exciting combination of open and coupe, of onboard practicality and liveability, and of comfort and power.

The huge cockpit is the iconic feature of 76’ Bahamas and relaxing on the generous sunpad overlooking the beach area, on the chaise longue or on the comfortable sofa is an integral part of the onboard experience. The restyling upgrades this area with advanced technology and home automation solutions: the sunpad’s armrests have two built-in panels that offer a simple and immediate way to control the lighting, the stereo system and the stern door.

Continuing forward, the lounge area dominates the central part of the deck and is protected by the double-curved laminated glass windscreen with a polished stainless steel frame. On the starboard side, the dining area is furnished with an L-shaped sofa and a teak table with stainless steel trim that comfortably seats eight guests. Behind this space are various storage compartments that contain, among other things, the audio equipment. The big bar area on the port side contains a fridge, an icemaker and a sink, plus an optional grill or TV screen.

The bridge and the helm station instrumentation are another focus of the new technology featured on the restyled 76’ Bahamas Super. The displays are touchscreen and the steering system has been converted from hydraulic to Xenta electro-hydraulic for better functionality while cruising. The pilot and co-pilot chairs are joined by a third chair on the opposite side of the sliding hatch that leads below deck. The chairs, which are specially designed for all Riva models by Officina Italiana Design, are housed in a fibreglass cradle and supported by a stainless steel “bridge” for a lighter overall look.

The now legendary C-TOP, the aerodynamic carbon top with a patented system that converts the yacht from an open into a coupe and vice versa, remains the star feature of Riva 76’ Bahamas. Lifted by two carbon arms finished with a polished carbon look, it rises from the deckhouse to a position over the cockpit and locks onto the windscreen and carbon roll bar, revealing a spacious forward dinette. The housings for the various antennas and satellite systems are incorporated in the roll bar, which features an aggressive central “fin” in addition to the stainless steel mast for the lights and antennas. The electrically operated system that locks the C-TOP to the windscreen and roll bar is activated automatically when the top is correctly positioned over the cockpit, completing the normal opening/closing sequence. In this area, technology and design join forces to deliver surprising cruising comfort: the C-TOP opens in less than a minute. The owner can also choose to add the optional side covers to fully protect the cockpit area in bad weather.

The large stern garage, with an automatic door controlled from the panel in the sunpad’s right armrest, can contain a 3.25-metre Williams tender and the water toys. In the bow, the winch compartment now has two flaps and not one for improved access. The aerodynamic profile of the Shark Grey hull with contrasting Bright Black accents now features an even more extensive glazed surface with a new design.
The skilful restyling continues in the interiors, with a pull-out wall shelf added to the galley to increase the available work surface. The galley door is no longer recessed but now hinged, which increases the storage space in the adjacent guest cabin, making it possible to add a sliding drawer.

In the night area, the full-beam master suite is furnished with a forward-facing double bed and a cabinet unit on the starboard side, complemented by the ensuite bathroom with its new layout. The master lobby has a convenient storage area containing the washer-dryer, while a big locker on the opposite side increases the storage space on board.

The layout of the guest cabin bathroom features a shower separated by a glass partition to improve liveability.

The interior decoration draws attention to the yacht’s bold character: the rift-cut white veneer embellished with obsidian varnish is pointed up by black leather trim with white stitching, all elements that bring elegance and refinement. Stainless steel completes the 76’ Bahamas Super’s style palette, which consists of pairings of materials and dark/light colour contrasts and is also expressed in the clear predominance of wood in the exteriors, a core feature of Riva style. Corian - or marble on request - is used for both tops and floors in the galley and bathrooms.

ENGINES AND TECHNOLOGY
Riva 76’ Bahamas Super is fitted with a pair of MAN V12 V-drive engines rated 1,550 mhp each in the standard version. With this configuration, the yacht has a top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots (preliminary data). The owner can also opt for two MAN V12 engines rated 1,800 mhp each, in which case the top speed rises to 37 knots and the cruising speed to 32 knots (preliminary data).

The bridge is equipped with a Xenta electro-hydraulic steer-by-wire system with independent control of the rudders for sporty turn optimisation and a SIMRAD COMMAND helm station with integrated onboard monitoring and navigation and manoeuvring controls. From here the captain can manage the entire yacht using three 16-inch touchscreens. The owner can also request a solution with three 19-inch touchscreens and a convenient and functional manoeuvring joystick.

Riva 76’ Bahamas Super is fitted with automatic Humphree dynamic trim interceptors, guaranteeing maximum simplicity of use and optimised fuel consumption.

The AVENTICS manoeuvring joystick featuring docking mode functionality is also available as an option, for easy yacht handling in confined waters, such as when mooring alongside, with lateral movement obtained by the combined action of the main propellers and the proportional bow thruster.

On request, a Seakeeper NG18 can be installed to offer greater stability at anchor and when cruising, for maximum comfort on board.

A fabulous Riva Anniversario special limited edition will be auctioned off to the most generous bidder: the entire proceeds will go to support the UNICEF 7 Fund for the children of El Salvador.

Forlì, 27th October 2022: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund and Ferretti Group have come together for a charity auction, where a magnificent, limited edition Riva Anniversario boat will be auctioned, and the entire proceeds will help protect children in El Salvador whose lives are threatened by violence.

The collaboration springs from David Beckham’s role as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, a role he has held since 2005. UNICEF works to save children's lives, defend their rights, and to help children fulfil their potential in almost every country on Earth.

To mark his 10 years as a Goodwill Ambassador, David set up the 7 Fund with UNICEF, to support children around the world by providing better health care, education, and protection.

In El Salvador, the 7 Fund is working in the six most violent areas to help prevent and respond to acts of violence against young people. The goal is to help children go to school, to make public spaces safer and child friendly, and to strengthen child-protection services and make them more accessible.

The 7 Fund aims to provide every child in these six areas with the chance to play sport in safety, so they can develop resilience and learn vital life-skills.

Ferretti Group is committed to supporting David Beckham’s 7 Fund for UNICEF: a magnificent Riva Anniversario will be auctioned off, and the entire proceeds will be donated to safeguard children in El Salvador.

“I am so proud of my work with UNICEF. As a Goodwill Ambassador and founder of the 7 Fund, I have seen first-hand the vital work that UNICEF does around the world. UNICEF is there every day in homes, schools, and communities, helping children realise and fulfil their potential. I am so pleased to see how we are helping children in El Salvador. The projects we support there protect the many children who live in the shadow of violence. Thank you to the Ferretti Group for supporting this cause, which is so close to my heart.” said David Beckham

Riva Anniversario is the special, limited-edition boat created by Riva to celebrate the shipyard’s 180th anniversary as well as 60 years of the iconic Aquarama. Only 18 units will be made, and one has been immediately earmarked to support the 7 Fund for UNICEF’s work. This will raise vital funds for El Salvador’s most vulnerable children and raise greater awareness of their situation and the work that UNICEF is doing for the most disadvantaged children and adolescents.

“All of us who sail the waves know that there is a law of the sea that we all hold dear: that you must do all you can to rescue those in danger who need help”, commented Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO. “I am grateful to UNICEF and to our friend David Beckham for this chance to support a project that can make a real difference to the lives of thousands of children and their families. There is no better way to celebrate Riva’s 180th year, and I am certain that our owners will be eager to compete for such an exclusive, iconic boat while offering hope and opportunity to so many people.”

To join the auction and find out more, head to www.ferrettigroupforunicef.com. The silent auction will be open for four months, concluding in Miami on 16 February 2023, when the Riva Anniversario will be handed over to the most generous bidder.

PURE WALLY DNA

Wally’s new sailing super yachts revealed
- Built in pre-preg carbon fibre for blistering performance
- Lifting keel system and twin rudders
- Stunning low-profile coachroof creates huge social space
- wallywind150 features private aft owner’s cockpit

Monaco, 29 September 2022 – Progress on Wally’s new super sailing range has reached a milestone with the release of the first detailed renderings of the bigger yachts. While building continues on the wallywind110, the in-house design team headed by Luca Bassani has been working hand-in-glove with renowned naval architect firm judel+vrolijk & co and design studio Santa Maria Magnolfi to develop the breathtaking new wallywind130 and wallywind150.

Even a cursory glance confirms that these boats pay true homage to the values held dear by Wally. They have huge speed potential, being entirely built in carbon fibre composite, possess achingly handsome lines and an interior that skilfully blends extreme comfort with contemporary aesthetics.

From the exterior, there is no mistaking the exceptional pedigree of these huge sailing yachts. Running aft from the plumb bow towards the open “Terrace-on-the-sea” transom, the sheerline only dips at the last moment. The foredeck is totally free of obstacles or features that could challenge the eye (or the toes) and the glass-set coachroof is so low profile that it barely troubles the lines of the yachts.

“Wally is re-affirming its sailing roots with the launch of these designs,” says Wally Managing Director Stefano de Vivo. “Alongside the wallywind110, the wallywind130 and wallywind150 represent the pinnacle of carbon composite construction for blissful cruising and exhilarating racing. We liken the boats to the Grand Turismo cars, which is to say powerful and supremely comfortable. I believe these are the best round-the world sailing machines ever created.”

Wally Founder and Chief Designer Luca Bassani explains: “The wallywind150 is the natural evolution of the Wally144 Kauris IV launched in 2020. It includes some Wally iconic features, such as the cockpit protected by the high bulwarks, the Terrace-on-the-sea and the raised saloon. On the other hand, it also introduces a few more revolutionary features such as the forward guest area which doubles as a tender garage when not in use, a truly private owner’s terrace aft as well as a new interior layout to enhance flexibility for the owner.”

By contrast, the design of the bulwarks is such that the coachroof hides a huge and convivial raised salon that flows smoothly into the cockpit without a single change in levels. No fewer than three social zones occupy more than a third of the boat’s length to create an entertaining space that is unparalleled on yachts of this size. Among them is the famous ‘Terrace-on the sea” that Wally pioneered in 1998 with Tiketitan.

Twin helm stations are discretely positioned just inside the raised bulwarks, allowing guests to be as involved in the sailing as they wish. Sail controls and navigation displays are set amidships, but there is barely a rope to be seen. Wally’s original Magic Trim system, now much imitated, means that the main and self-tacking jib are set and adjusted at the push of a button using hidden hydraulic rams. Just the gigantic, custom-made spinnaker sheet winches on the quarter give the game away.

Beneath the foredeck is hidden a tender well for storing a generously sized tender (4.50m – 14’ 9’’ - on the wallywind130; 5.00+m – 16’ 4’’ – in the wallywind150) completely out of sight. On the larger superyacht, this well doubles as a forward guest cockpit that can be converted into a cushion-lined dining area or lounge. In the transom, the hydraulic passerelle stows flush and can be angled up to the quayside or down for elegant access to the water.

Technology at the service of performance
Performance is naturally the founding principle of this design, as it is on all Wallys. The full carbon lay-up which Wally pioneered and develops to this day, guarantees exceptional hull stiffness, rapid acceleration and great response on the helm. Full pre-preg vacuum lamination with careful post curing at 85°C ensures that lamination is flawless and weight is kept to an absolute minimum.

A retractable keel system allows both yachts to switch from performance to shallow-waters cruising mode. The twin rudder setup similarly balances fingertip control under way with easy access. A variable pitch propeller provides optimum thrust under power while folding under sail to offer almost no drag. Bow and stern thrusters round out the manoeuvrability of the new wallywind line, which naturally uses Wally’s underwater anchor launching system to keep the purity of the lines around the bow and move the weight aft to reduce pitching.

Central to both boats’ design is Wally’s smart “double deck” layout, which puts the key social areas up under the spectacular coachroof. It features an almost dreamlike structure combining carbon ribs with vast curved panes of glass and delicately lit panels. The result is a panorama that takes in the whole horizon, plus the sails overhead. It is hard to imagine a dining and seating areas that offers more.

Exceptional cruising platform
Below decks, both the wallywind130 and the wallywind150 offer extraordinarily comfortable accommodation for guests – up to eight in the smaller yacht and 10 in the bigger one. The 130-footer gives the owner the choice of a cabin forward or right aft, where the broader beam allows facilities including a private TV lounge and a vast his ‘n hers bathroom.

On the wallywind150, the cabin is always aft to provide access to the owner’s private cockpit. It is hard to overstate the majesty of this feature, which can be left open to maximise al fresco living, or closed off to create an indoor/outdoor space between the owner’s quarters and the exterior. With room for walk in wardrobes, a private office and multiple seating areas, the breath-taking owner’s cabin is more akin to those found on larger 60m (200’) yachts. The TV or playroom forward can also be easily converted for kids or a nanny to create a fifth cabin.

Finish is a matter of taste for the eventual owner, but Wally’s renderings show vividly what can be achieved with the sort of clean, natural styling for which the brand is famous. Teak, fine woods and neutral upholstery combine to create a sense of space, wellbeing and casual sophistication.
