OVER 70,000 SQUARE METRES OF SURFACE AREA
A TOTAL INVESTMENT OF 80 MILLION EUROS

Ferretti Group acquires a new production site in Image 2 BODY

Forli, March 20, 2023

Ferretti Group announces the acquisition of a production site of over 70,000 square metres, including a dry dock, in San Vitale (province of Ravenna).

The acquisition involved an initial investment of about 40 million euros and will be followed by a further 40 million over the coming three-year period to create new production areas and an R&D centre. The operation forms part of Ferretti Group’s growth strategy and the new facility, when fully operational, will increase production capacity by about 20%. The acquisition of the new Ravenna shipyard has been financed entirely with equity raised by the recent listing on the Hong Kong stock exchange.

The new production site in the province of Ravenna is strategically located, close to the company’s Forlì headquarters and its Cattolica shipyard. This operation consolidates the Group’s investment strategy, which over the last five years has resulted in the expansion and improvement of all production facilities, and the La Spezia yard and the Ancona Superyacht Yard in particular.

"The acquisition of this area keeps a promise we made. We have big plans and picture a state-of-the-art production site from every point of view: worker well-being, positive social impact, environmental protection – also by carefully selecting the materials used – and increased production. Ravenna is the right home for Wally sailing yachts and the expansion of our other brands, starting with the extraordinary Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO range.

We choose Italy again and invest not only to become stronger, but also to hold the flag high for an industry that is a symbol of our country: luxury yachting and the extensive entrepreneurship and artisan craftsmanship network that is the admiration and envy of the entire world,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi.

AN ICON OF QUALITY, ELEGANCE AND DESIGN
The new yacht in the brand's displacement line has entered the water for delivery

Custom Line launches the twelfth Navetta 30 Image 12 BODY

Ancona, March 15, 2023

Custom Line has launched its second superyacht in 2023, the twelfth hull in the Custom Line Navetta 30 displacement line.

The new Navetta 30 M/Y Belle Île, an icon of timeless elegance and a symbol of Custom Line’s made-to-measure philosophy, touched the water on March 8 at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.

With a length of 28.43 m and a beam of 7.3 m, this superyacht bought by an owner from the Asia-Pacific area was created by the Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The interiors are by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel in partnership with the Custom Line Atelier, which provided strategic interior design consulting, while the exterior styling is by Filippo Salvetti.

As is usual for a Custom Line project, Custom Line Atelier’s team of architects and the rest of the shipyard’s project group worked together closely with the owner and his team to create the yacht and customize her interiors.

This new Navetta 30 is defined by the decision to reduce the number of guest cabins on the lower deck, making room for a study that doubles up as a relaxation space. For the colour scheme that ties the interiors together, the owner has chosen a colour palette of pale, neutral shades like beige and white, alternating with touches of aquamarine and light blue.

Naval architecture, seaworthiness, comfort, safety and quality are the distinctive elements of M/Y Belle Île, designed and built so that the onboard experience lives up to the owner’s expectations. Generosity of space and volume is combined with the pursuit of an iconic elegance, resulting in a sleek, dynamic profile that bears the imprint of timeless classicism.

The launch of this superyacht, the twelfth at the Ancona shipyard in little more than two years since the first unit entered the water, once again confirms the success of the Custom Line Navetta 30 line.

FERRETTI YACHTS 1000 Skydeck

MAKE ROOM FOR THE SKY
an upper deck transformed into an exclusive indoor area where you can touch the sky

Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeckmake room for the Image 1 BODY

Forli, March 16, 2023

The determination of Ferretti Yachts to keep raising the standards of comfort and liveability has produced a spectacular new version of the brand’s flagship. The Skydeck edition of Ferretti Yachts 1000, a huge success story for the Forlì-based shipyard, features an upper deck redesigned to create an enclosed, sheltered space that can be enjoyed year-round and conveys the breathtaking feeling of being able to touch the sky.

The first unit of the new model is planned for launch in June 2023, while the yacht’s official debut will be at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2023.
The result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, architect Filippo Salvetti (exterior styling) and Ideaeitalia (interior design), Ferretti Yachts 1000 Skydeck showcases the brand’s signature values of comfort, Italianness, timeless design and craftsmanship.

The stand-out new feature is the fully glazed upper deck connected to the aft terrace by a full-height sliding glass door. The result is a second lounge for the owner and guests to enjoy in any weather and whatever the time of year or day. Perfectly coordinated with the interiors, the decor features the same types of wood in a play of contrasts between warm hues and paler, more delicate shades.

The new Skydeck is a light-filled, sheltered and multifunctional space that can be enjoyed in unrivalled comfort, whatever the time of year or day. It can be fitted with air conditioning and the shutter slats in the hard top can be opened for natural ventilation. A stairway from the bridge provides indoor access to the deck, which can also be reached from outdoors using the stairway connecting it to the cockpit, while a side door leads to the bow area.

The outdoor terrace is another inviting space designed for conviviality with a fiberglass bar unit and stools, while the stern area can be fitted out with free standing furniture chosen to reflect the Owner’s tastes.

Following in the footsteps of Ferretti Yachts 1000, the brand new Skydeck version is versatile and suited to all markets, with interior design solutions that adapt to meet different needs.

The yacht’s sporty exterior styling is counterpointed by comfort and wellbeing, the signature features of both the outdoor spaces and the interiors, where the suavely understated design, featuring clean lines and sophisticated materials, conveys a sense of refined luxury and is the ideal interpretation of the values expressed by the “Just Like Home” claim.

AN ICON OF SUPERIOR QUALITY, AMBITIOUS DESIGN AND SUMPTUOUS TAILORED STYLE
CRN's new 72 metre steel and aluminium creation has touched the water for  the first time

CRN launches the MY 139 megayachtan icon of Image 1 BODY

Ancona, March 13, 2023

A new full-custom CRN megayacht was launched today at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard. The CRN 139 Project has been christened in a private ceremony.

72 metres long, 12.4 metres in the beam and with a gross tonnage of 1,880 GT, the vessel has been designed and built by CRN, which also developed the entire naval architecture. The concept and the exterior lines were created by design and architecture studio Vallicelli Design, while architects Nuvolari Lenard took care of the interiors and their subdivision together with the yard.

The result is a fully bespoke 72-metre steel and aluminium yacht spanning 6 decks and accommodating up to 12 guests and 19 crew.

The CRN M/Y 139 is a megayacht with a striking sense of style. She combines functional and design solutions in a sophisticated overall harmony, while the superstructure exudes an essential visual concision emphasised by the smooth external lines that impart an original, elegant aesthetic.

This sublime fully custom megayacht vaunts extremely generous internal and external spaces, devised to offer the owner family a memorable on-board living experience in total privacy and comfort. Among the many standout features, the large full-height windows lend a softness to the lines, offsetting her impressive dimensions.

The new 72-metre CRN M/Y 139 is a supreme expression of CRN’s design and construction skill – that talent for creating unique, distinctive designs that reflect and enhance their owners’ vision, personality and style.

Another three full-custom CRN yachts are currently under construction at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, the multi-brand hub in Ancona stretching over almost 80,000 sqm. These are the 67-metre CRN M/Y 143, the 85-metre CRN M/Y 144, and the 70-metre CRN M/Y 145. Also taking shape there are a Custom Line Navetta 50, a Pershing 140 #03 and Pershing 140 #04 in aluminium, plus a Riva 50Metri #03 and a Riva Superyacht Division 54Metri in aluminium and steel. In addition, the entire Custom Line production output is being built there too, with 27 yachts now under construction in the sheds or at the finishing and testing stages at the docks prior to delivery to their owners.

CRN positions its new 72metre yacht in readiness Image 1 body

Ancona, March 10, 2023

During the positioning process, this imposing yacht’s dynamic lines have caught the eye with their impressive blend of elegance and fluid poise. CRN developed the overall naval architecture, while design and architecture studio Vallicelli Design created the exterior concept, and architects Nuvolari Lenard handled the interiors and their subdivision together with the shipbuilder.

The megayacht has been moved using motorised hydraulic lift trucks from her construction shed to the slipway ready for the pre-launch preparations. Handling a vessel with a dry weight of over 1,270 tons was a spectacular undertaking, made possible by the total dedication and specialist expertise of CRN’s supremely skilled workers, professionals and external contractors.

Besides the 72-metre CRN M/Y 139, the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona is currently constructing another 3 fully custom CRN yachts: the 67-metre CRN M/Y 143, the 85-metre CRN M/Y 144, and the 70-metre CRN M/Y 145. PARTNERS AGAIN
for the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship Season

Riva and Scuderia Ferrari still together in Image 1 body

Sarnico, March 9, 2023

A red and aquamarine thread ties together the history and success of both these modern-day legends: Riva and Ferrari symbolise everything iconic and unrivalled about Italian-made products, which thrive on masterful craftsmanship and an extraordinary ability to innovate.

This communion of values and goals is confirmed by the presentation of the new Formula 1™ racing car produced by the Maranello-based company for the 2023 season and the announcement that this year too Riva will be official sponsor of Scuderia Ferrari in the Formula 1™ World Championship, now in its 74th year.

The Riva logo will appear on the Ferrari SF-23s and helmets of Scuderia Ferrari’s two drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr., sealing a partnership that promises another season of spectacle and excitement.

“Number ones understand each other and teaming up comes naturally to them. Riva and Ferrari are so alike in so many ways, from their supreme style and beauty to their striving for perfection in every detail, that when Charles Leclerc and Carlo Sainz Jr. climb out of their racing cars, they choose our magnificent boats to relax and have fun on,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “In Formula 1™ I recognise one of the key factors behind Riva’s success – a fierce determination to keep improving the performance and quality of the product. I see this same mindset in Charles and Carlos, and it’s a pleasure for our brand to be associated with their sporting endeavours.”

The world’s most famous yacht and motorsport brands have had a joint presence starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix, the season’s first event scheduled for March 3 to 5, and continuing through to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last stage of the Formula 1™ 2023 World Championship held from November 24 to 26.

RIVA ANNOUNCES THE SALE OF THE FIRST 54M

THE NEW ALL-ALUMINIUM SUPERYACHT
under contstruction at the Riva SuperYacht Division in Ancona

Riva 54m BODY

Ancona, March 1, 2023

The largest Riva ever built is an incredibly beautiful superyacht and the new benchmark for all fans of the world’s most prestigious brand: she’s the Riva 54 Metri and the yard is proud to announce the contract signing for the first unit.

Featuring 54 meters of elegance combined with sleek, sporty lines and generous spaces designed to give guests the ultimate onboard experience of relaxation and comfort, Riva 54 Metri is in tune with the unique style that is the distinguishing feature of all Riva models and draws on the brand’s stylistic hallmarks in recent years, such as the typical counter-curvature of the windows and the use of chiaroscuro to create plays of light and texture.

Like all Riva masterpieces in the brand’s recent history, Riva 54 Metri is the result of collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the firm founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

Riva 54 will welcome guests into generous outdoor spaces covering almost 370 square meters, with a beach area that promises the thrill of close contact with the water in a relaxed and private setting. Another highpoint will be the impressive wellness area, containing a gym, a spa and a stunning pool.

With her majestic size and an all-aluminium hull that keeps weight to a minimum, Riva 54 Metri will be the largest Riva ever built and reach a top speed of 18 knots (preliminary data).

The sale was concluded in partnership with Alain Maaraoui, the founder and chairman of Riva’s exclusive dealer in Kuwait, Sea Pros Yachts, who played a key role in drawing up the agreement and will continue to work with the customer from construction through to delivery planned for 2025.

Work on the Riva 54 Metri is currently underway at the Riva Superyachts Division in Ancona, the state-of-the-art shipyard occupying almost 80,000 square meters where all yachts from 50 to 90 meters are built. Ancona is also home to the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, where ten steel and aluminium superyachts are currently being built for the Pershing, CRN and Custom Line brands.

FIRST PERSHING GTX116 LAUNCHED

THE WAIT IS OVER AND THE 1ST YACHT IN THE NEW GTX RANGE HAS ENTERED THE WATER

'the ideal combination of elegance, volume and the signature Pershing thrill'

Pershing GTX116 launched Image Body

Mondolfo, February 16, 2023

2023 is an important year for the Mondolfo-based yard as it launches the first Pershing GTX116. This innovative, exciting and disruptive model, with its groundbreaking concept and design, entered the water last February 7 in Fano and in doing so welcomed in a new construction era for the brand.

Designed for the US market and the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the design firm headed by Fulvio De Simoni, and the Group’s Engineering Department, the first Pershing GTX116 confirms its sporty DNA and enhances the concept of comfort by providing plenty of open-air space, areas designed to be in direct contact with the water, and outstanding liveability guaranteed by the new five-cabin layout.

“I spent years searching for a yacht that’s perfect for Miami but could never find one. Now my ideal model is finally a reality thanks to Pershing GTX116. Five suites, a sunroof on the upper deck, a huge Jacuzzi, plenty of space for the crew, a large garage for tenders, and the best silver paintwork of all time. Not only beauty and comfort, but also the quality and safety that only a Pershing can provide.”

These are the words of the American owner of the first Pershing GTX116, who has chosen to name the yacht Caffeine in honour of the ingredient that made his fortune. This truly unique yacht, which has a hull over 35 meters in length and 7,70 meters in the beam, has a remarkable 150 square meters of outdoor areas seamlessly connected to the water, amplifying onboard liveability.

The sleek and streamlined profile is emblematic of the brand’s sporty personality, which is pointed up in the bow area by a signature style feature referencing luxury SUV automotive imagery and identifying the new Pershing GTX116 as an SUY or Sport Utility Yacht. This yacht in the new range is painted a new shade of grey, with a special shade of blue for the deckhouse, while the generous glazed surfaces flood the interiors with natural light.

The garage can contain a tender over 5 meters long, a jet ski and other water toys, while the exclusive 39-square-meter beach club has a teak deck protected by an electro-hydraulic taffrail that opens up to connect the beach area with the swim platform, creating a huge space at the water’s edge.

The 40-square-meter sundeck, reached from the stern area via two outdoor stairways on either side of the yacht, contains the second helm station and is designed with generous spaces for socialising and to enjoy the onboard lifestyle, not least thanks to the shelter provided by the carbon hard top. This area also contains the generously sized and comfortable lounge area, complete with a large wet bar.

The first Pershing GTX116 is equipped with a triple water jet propulsion system, which can be paired with three MAN V12 2000 engines each rated 2,000 mhp (optional) for a top speed of 35.5 knots and a cruising speed of 29.5 knots. The standard engines are three MAN V12 1800 units rated 1,800 mhp.

CRN DELIVERS THE M/Y 141 SUPERYACHT

THE NEW 60-METRE VESSEL HAS LEFT THE MARINA AT THE ANCONA YARD

''an innovative bespoke work of art built entirely of aluminium'

CRN delivers the MY 141 superyacht Image 1

Ancona, 02 February 2023

CRN M/Y 141, the new CRN pleasure yacht designed and built entirely in aluminium, was delivered to her owners in December 2022. After successfully completing her sea trials, this new 60-metre gem has left the Ancona Superyacht Yard on her inaugural cruise, to cross the Atlantic bound for the Caribbean.

The CRN M/Y 141 is a fusion of fluid power and taut poise with futuristic technology and dazzlingly dynamic external lines. She blends the in-depth expertise and tireless commitment to R&D of CRN – which developed the entire naval architecture for this bespoke yacht – with the tremendous experience and peerless Italian creativity of architects Nuvolari Lenard, who took care of the interior and exterior concept.

The knowledgeable owners were eager for a high-performance superyacht with a modest enough draft to cruise in the West Indies, using in-line propellers; they also requested airy, generous-height spaces and large guest and crew areas. All requirements were non-negotiable.

At 60.33 metres long with a beam of 10.55 metres and a gross tonnage of 1,114, the M/Y 141 spans 5 decks and accommodates up to 12 guests and 13 crew in considerable comfort. With her twin MTU engines, the yacht vaunts a top speed of over 25 knots and can cruise at 22.5.

The special high-tech design has been devised with meticulous attention to every detail and is perfectly suited to cruising and mooring in shallow waters like the Caribbean. And her performance is genuinely remarkable for a displacement pleasure vessel in this market segment. The superyacht is also IMO Tier III-certified , assuring drastic reductions of up to 70% in harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the engine exhaust.

The CRN M/Y 141 has been made to the highest standards of excellence. The exceptional design and build quality has been verified by CRN’s highly skilled engineers and technicians through a profusion of checks and functional tests.

A supreme union of innovation and superlative craftsmanship, she is a sublime expression of the expertise that unites all the talented professionals, technicians and artisans who work every day at the historic Ancona yard to create iconic yachts – unique, distinctive, cutting-edge projects that bring their owners’ vision to life and reflect their personality to perfection.

BUILT IN THE NEW RIVA SHIPYARD IN LA SPEZIA

''the second hull of the largest flybridge in the range has a European owner'

Riva 130 Bellissima the Riva fleet flagship Image 2

La Spezia, January 30, 2023

Born out of skilled hand craftsmanship, avant-garde design and advanced marine technology, Riva 130’ Bellissima is a magnificent flybridge yacht with an overall length of 40 meters, and the perfect blend of power and elegance: a work of art that is “Bellissima” in both name and fact.

The second unit built of Riva’s flagship model was launched on behalf of a European owner last Friday in La Spezia, in the shipyard dedicated to the production of Riva yachts from 70 to 130 feet. After recently undergoing major expansion and architectural restyling work, the La Spezia yard now extends over a total surface area of more than 39,000 square meters, of which 17,000 under cover. The facility also includes three buildings containing eighteen assembly stations, plus six equipped for testing. The production site also has a 300-tonne travel lift and two of the largest advanced technology painting systems in Europe.  The launch also saw the official opening of the new wing of the facility reserved for owner hospitality. Representing a further optimization of the services offered to guests, it joins 26 yacht berths, with two docks under cover, ensuring optimal conditions for work and delivery to owners in any season.

Riva 130’ Bellissima has exterior styling and interiors by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, the design firm behind all Riva’s yachts for the last 27 years, working in partnership with the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

With an overall length of over 40 meters and a beam of 8 meters, Riva 130’ Bellissima is the first planing flybridge in the range to extend across three real decks, with a full-wide-body design and generous volumes in every setting, while remaining under 300 GT and maintaining sleek, elegant lines.

“The name Bellissima perfectly expresses the spirit of this boat, a true work of art that has been a huge success on all four continents,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “With her sporty but at the same time extremely elegant lines, Riva 130’ Bellissima is the dream yacht of every owner in search of outstanding cruising performance combined with the feeling of being at home.”

“Riva 130’ Bellissima is designed to be superlative and on entering the water becomes even more beautiful, powerful and poetic, like the boats that have written the brand’s history,” continues Alberto Galassi. “The success this model is reporting is a credit to Riva's commitment to always designing boats that navigate both in legend and in the future.”

Carbon fiber, steel and glass are the distinctive elements of the hull design, which features three simple lines running along the silhouette: two black strokes along the yacht’s silvery side define the hull windows, while the windshield, made with spherical crystals, has the characteristic slight forward rake already used on the Riva 48’ Dolceriva. Aft, the all-glass fashion plates enhance the aerodynamics and elegance of the yacht, while the carbon fiber detailing and the hardtop with its quintessentially sporty style add dynamism and personality.

The outdoor areas are optimized to fully experience close contact with the water: the stern area, set low and open to the water, is divided into a large beach club and a cockpit of over 60 square metres. Forward, guests can choose between a lounge, a large sun pad and other intimate and inviting spaces. The exterior spaces are rounded out by an alfresco dining area, accommodating up to ten people on the upper deck, and a relaxation area on the sundeck.

Inside, Riva 130’ Bellissima offers spacious, light-filled settings, thanks to the large glazed surfaces extending along the full length of the main and upper decks. The interior design is contemporary, pointed up by elements made from steel, polished wood and leather, and achieves the perfect balance between celebrating tradition and reaching into the future. The star feature of Riva 130’ is the large lounge on the main deck: with a 270-degree panoramic view and a height of over 2 meters, this one-of-a-kind space features an imposing staircase with polished marble steps that not only connects the decks, but is also a magnificent architectural element.

The cabin layout puts the master suite on the main deck and four cabins on the lower deck, separated by a large lobby and all with en suite bathrooms. The crew area, made up of three cabins with bathrooms and a large living area, is forward, with reserved entrances and walkways to ensure the utmost privacy and tranquility for both the owner and guests.

Riva 130’ Bellissima is powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines rated 2,638 mhp each, giving her a top speed of 22,5 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots.
