SECOND MODEL IN THE SERIES TAKES TO THE WATER
'Marina di Ravenna shipyard'

Itama 70
Ravenna, May 28, 2026

The highly anticipated debut of the Itama 70 took place on May 21 at the Ferretti Group’s state-of-the-art production facility in Ravenna.

Measuring an impressive 21.23 meters in length and 5.30 meters in beam, the Itama 70 beautifully preserves the hallmark traits that have elevated the brand to iconic status. Yet, it also introduces a range of stylish design innovations aimed at enhancing the onboard cruising experience.

Noteworthy features include a generous sunpad at the bow, which is seamlessly integrated into the deck, and sleek side windows that stretch along the hull, reinforcing the yacht's graceful silhouette while fostering a deep connection with the sea.

The main deck is a haven for social interaction and relaxation. At the stern, a versatile beach area effortlessly accommodates and launches a 3.25-meter tender, while the spacious sunpad—an enduring element of Itama’s legacy—effortlessly flows into the dining area through an integrated backrest, creating a harmonious continuity among the various spaces. An inviting U-shaped dining area is thoughtfully paired with a teak-top table, positioned opposite a wet bar that can transform into a chaise longue with an added cushion—making it the perfect spot for lounging by the water. To add to the comfort, this area is shaded by an electric bimini top that features integrated lighting. The helm station is situated on the port side, featuring a cozy bench seat designed for two. The console of this inaugural unit showcases two 16-inch chartplotter touch displays, providing both intuitive and advanced navigation controls.

Below deck, the ambiance is both inviting and elegant, striking a perfect balance between functionality, natural light, and sophisticated materials.  The layout comprises three cabins, including a master suite at the aft, each equipped with en suite bathrooms. There’s also a well-appointed corner galley and a snug dinette crafted to enhance the comfort of life below deck.

As for performance, the first Itama 70 is equipped with an optional engine package that consists of two MAN V12 units, each boasting 1,550 horsepower. This powerful configuration propels the yacht to an exhilarating top speed of 40 knots, with a comfortable cruising speed of 35 knots—numbers that are sure to delight. Additionally, the vessel includes a Seakeeper NG14 gyroscopic stabilizer, ensuring a smooth and stable ride no matter the conditions.

MEET THE NEW ITAMA 70

GRACE - PACE - LIBERTY
'offerIng an exclusive, dynamic space designed for a comprehensive and sophisticated experience'

Itama70
Forli, March 02, 2026

With the Itama 70, the notion of freedom at sea is redefined, transforming the open yacht into a genuinely livable sanctuary. Serving as the second model in the renewed Itama lineup, it caters to those who understand that true luxury is found in the quality time spent upon the waves. From the inception of this project, the goal has been to enhance life on board, introducing innovative layouts and features that maximise every inch of available space.

Unveiled at boot Düsseldorf this year, the Itama 70 is a collaborative masterpiece, brought to life by the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee, under the leadership of Piero Ferrari, alongside the Group’s Engineering Department. The sleek exterior is crafted by Vallicelli Design, while IdeaeItalia has curated the elegant interiors.

The Itama 70’s exterior lines present a modern interpretation of the brand’s classic characteristics, all while honouring its legacy. Echoing the groundbreaking innovations found in the Itama 54, the Itama 70 features an expansive sunpad at the bow seamlessly integrated into the deck, complemented by elongated side windows that impart a sophisticated and contemporary profile.

The deck layout has been meticulously crafted to ensure unparalleled comfort and livability on board. At the stern of the main deck, the generous sunpad—a hallmark of Itama—is complemented by a convenient passageway on the starboard side for effortless boarding. The U-shaped dining area is anchored by a teak-topped table, situated just in front of a well-equipped wet bar unit, complete with a sink and fridge. Additionally, this unit can be transformed into a chaise longue with the addition of a cushion, enhancing the living area with even more versatile seating options.

The helm station, strategically located on the port side, offers comfortable seating for two and remarkable visibility. To enhance movement aboard, the access to the bow area is centrally positioned relative to the windscreen, while the entrance to the lower deck is thoughtfully placed far to the starboard side, facilitating smoother and more efficient traffic throughout the yacht.

Below deck, you'll discover three well-appointed cabins, each with en suite bathrooms, alongside a cozy corner galley and a spacious dinette. The master cabin, a notable feature for a 70-foot open yacht, is situated in the stern, while the VIP cabin occupies the bow. On the port side, a third guest cabin offers a queen-size bed oriented perpendicularly to the keel, complete with an en suite bathroom that doubles as a day head. Thanks to ample hull glazing, the entire lower deck enjoys an abundance of natural light, and the absence of steps here enhances the overall flow of movement.

Additionally, upon request, a single crew cabin with its own bathroom can be incorporated, featuring access from the aft sunpad.

The Itama 70 is powered by two MAN V12 engines; the standard configuration boasts a pair of 1,400 HP MAN V12 units, achieving a top speed of 37 knots and cruising comfortably at 33 knots. Alternatively, the optional setup offers two 1,550 HP MAN V12 engines, pushing the maximum speed to 39 knots and cruising at 35 knots, based on preliminary data.
