PERSHING GTX70 UNIT LAUNCHED

THE MOST COMPACT MODEL IN THE GTX RANGE

'a sporty spirit and incredibly liveable spaces that promise a sensational new on-board experience'

First Pershing GTX70 2
Mondolfo, March 24th, 2025

The first Pershing GTX70, an agile and dynamic concentration of the innovations introduced by the GTX series, was launched last March 19 in the port of Fano. The third model in the Sport Utility Yachts range – which marks the beginning of Pershing's 40th anniversary – delivers the sporty spirit and incredibly liveable spaces of the previous models, but in a more compact format that promises a sensational new on-board experience.

Pershing GTX70, with a length of 21.88 metres and a beam of 5.42 metres, is the result of collaboration between the Ferretti Group Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari, Vallicelli Design, and the Group’s Engineering Department. The new hull was produced at the Ferretti Group Plug and Mould facility, which brings together the brand’s advanced technology and signature craftsmanship, and the boat’s construction was completed in the new Mondolfo production area where the GTX range is built.

The interior and exterior spaces are more extensive than on other models of similar length, ensuring an extraordinarily comfortable experience by increasing on-board liveability and offering direct contact with the water. Pershing GTX70 extends across two decks and a sportbridge and can accommodate up to six guests in three cabins.

The exterior design, in classic Pershing grey, reprises some of the stand-out style features seen on all GTX models. The slightly convex, stanchion-free sheer line runs from bow to stern, joining up with the bulwarks on either side of the cockpit, which open out to form two terraces that significantly increase the living space in the beach area. The sleek, sweeping lines, combined with the near vertical bow, endow this model with an unrivalled elegance.

The beach area aft, furnished on this first unit with a sunpad (OPT) incorporated in the transom structure, has a total surface of 23 m2 when the side terraces are open. Another stand-out feature is the stern swim platform with dual linear lift technology, which increases the available space by aligning the platform with the beach area and can also be used to launch a jet ski or a Williams 3,25 tender.

The importance of the concept of space is clear on the main deck, which has a seamless, open design. The cockpit, which is full shaded by the sportfly, contains a generous C-shaped sofa and a table. As on Pershing GTX80, the exterior and interior lounge areas are connected via the galley, thanks in part to a pocket up-down glass panel incorporated in the galley unit. Moving forward, the importance of the widebody structure is clear to see in the layout of the living space, which contains two facing L-shaped sofas that give the area an even greater sense of harmony. The colours used for the interiors of this first unit have been chosen to highlight the contrasts between different elements, such as the dark nubuck leather upholstery of the sofas paired with the muted tones of the nearby stairwell. The ceiling is decorated with LED lights strips that deliver diffused light across the entire deck space – a feature also reprised on the lower deck.

The lower deck contains three cabins and three en suite bathrooms, in a layout that optimises the spaces so that guests can enjoy maximum comfort in the sleeping area too.

Pershing GTX70’s 16-square-metre sportbridge is split into three spacious areas for sunbathing, dining and the helm station. On this model it also features the innovative electric bimini top with prepreg carbon poles, available as an option, which can be used to shade the dining area and helm station.

Equipped with three 900 hp VOLVO PENTA D13 IPS1200 units, Pershing GTX70 reaches a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots (preliminary data). The yacht has CE Class A certification, the safest for boats under 24 m.

NEW FLYBRIDGE WITH PERSONALITY - ELEVATING THE VERY CONCEPT OF CRUISING

'Combining Elegance and Functionality with a special focus on Privacy'

Ferretti Yachts 800
Cattolica, March 3rd, 2025

Ferretti Yachts 800 is the new boat that completes the range renewal begun in 2018.

The project, presented during Boot Düsseldorf and under construction at Ferretti Yachts’ Cattolica shipyard, is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. With a length overall of 24.47 m (80 ft 3 in) – a version with a shorter stern platform is also available to comply with the 24-metre limit established by French law – and a maximum beam of 5.91 m (19 ft 5 in).

Completing the stylistic evolution process, curated by the architect Filippo Salvetti, for the exterior design and by IdeaeItalia for the interiors, Ferretti Yachts 800 is designed to offer the owner peerless comfort and a superior on-board lifestyle for a boat this size, thanks to optimised spaces and meticulous layout planning.

The most innovative features include large windows for uninterrupted views of the surroundings from the interiors and an optional sliding door on the starboard side of the salon; perfectly separated spaces to ensure total privacy; and optimisation of the exterior surfaces and particularly the flybridge (a full 40 m2), further enriching the on-board experience.

Turning to the exterior design, Ferretti Yachts 800 combines a modern aesthetic with the brand’s signature identity. The new design has a bold personality that projects the Ferretti Yachts range into the future, combining a sporty design with sophisticated detailing.

One of the characteristic features of this model is in fact the gradual slope of the flybridge’s lines down towards the stern, breaking with the tradition that they are parallel to the hull. The result is a perfect balance between timeless elegance, dynamism and impressive volume.

“With the introduction of a new aesthetic, one that’s particularly clear to see in the surface treatment – commented Filippo Salvetti – of the yacht’s sides, the design of Ferretti Yachts 800 embraces a bold and functional approach that elegantly redefines the distribution of spaces between the main deck, the bridge and the flybridge.

Ideaeitalia focused its efforts on layout-related and architectural choices, aiming to enhance the elegance of the interiors at the same time as ensuring functionality and intelligent design. There was a special focus on the main deck, where an in-depth analysis of movement flows has resulted in an innovative configuration, in which the galley opens onto both the main hallway and the helm station area, with the introduction of a new concept for separating guest and crew flows. The standout elements, unusual for a boat this size, include a day head on the main deck and, in the master cabin, a freestanding dressing table, a vanity area and a particularly generous and comfortable bathroom.

“Our aim with Ferretti Yachts 800 is to breathe life into a boat concept that’s future-forward without sacrificing the brand’s signature refinement,” said Ideaeitalia. “It’s a project that redefines the on-board experience through solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality.

In a rapid overview starting on the main deck, the beach area is aft, offering a total surface area of 7 m2 and featuring a fold-down sofa in the transom. The 15 m2 cockpit has a spectacular glass parapet designed to extend the view outside and towards the beach club, with access to the crew area - containing three separate cabins - from the port side walkway.

Continuing through the interiors, the salon is bathed in light thanks to extensive glazing, one of the signature features of the boat, which offers uninterrupted views of the sea and the surrounding area even when sitting on the sofa. The generous interior volumes are further enhanced by the exquisite arrangement of the furniture to maximise liveability and by the two-metre ceiling height. The two interior decor moods available are Classic – which taps into earthy elements – and Contemporary, featuring glowing woods and fabrics in fresh hues inspired by the colours of the sea. In perfect Made in Italy style, both are designed to offer owners an elegant, inviting and well-balanced ambiance.

Moving past the living space, the dining area contains an elegant table seating eight. At the same time, the fully appointed and separate galley is directly connected to this space through a sliding section in the bulkhead. Separate walkways are another unusual feature of the boat, allowing the crew to enter the galley from the outdoor area and then access the wheelhouse without interfering with guest flows. It’s also possible to access the helm station from the hallway, which can be closed off completely to ensure maximum privacy.

The exterior living area forward (14 m2) features a sunbed and a forward-facing C-shaped sofa designed for comfort.

On the lower deck, the sleeping area consists of a master suite (18 m2), a VIP cabin forward and two guest cabins, providing a total of eight berths. There are four en suite private bathrooms.

The flybridge area is also larger than the category average (40 m2) thanks to the sleek, arched profile of the superstructure. On the starboard side there’s an al fresco dining area and table, with a generous storage compartment under the fibreglass sofa, while on the port side there’s a bar unit with optional stools. The freestanding furnishings such as the chairs and pouffe are by Talenti. The helm station forward offers comfortable seating and excellent visibility.

Ferretti Yachts 800 can be powered by two 1,550 HP MAN V12 engines in the standard version (top speed 27 kn - cruising speed 15 kn) or two 1,800 HP MAN V12 engines (top speed 31 kn - cruising speed 27 kn) in the optional version (estimated performance).

WALLYTENDER48X INTRODUCED TO THE MIDDLE EAST

DUBAI INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW 19>23 FEBRUARY 2025

'Wally bring Innovation and Style with an absolute Showstopper'

Wally wallytender48X birdseye
Monaco, February 17, 2025

Wally is set to make its debut in the Middle East with the wallytender48X, which will be presented at the upcoming Dubai International Boat Show (from February 19 to 23). The supremely versatile day cruiser promises to be a showstopper with her blend of contemporary styling, inviting social spaces and the blistering performance of her outboard powertrain.

The wallytender48X stands out in her segment as the only boat offering fold-down bulwark sections as standard, expanding the swim platform for relaxation and socializing at anchor. Another exceptional feature is the retractable passerelle, which also functions as a swim ladder, included as standard for added convenience.

The deck layout is thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort for family and friends, with ample seating, sunbeds, and alfresco dining supported by a fully equipped galley. Cockpit seating can be adjusted to face either forward or aft toward the dining area, adapting to provide the best possible experience both under way and at anchor.

Additional highlights include a hidden anchoring system concealed beneath a flush-fitting bow hatch, operable via the helm station, and wallytender’s wraparound fender, offering an elegant and practical alternative to traditional bulky fenders.

The model on display in Dubai, has 4 Mercury’s state-of-the-art 450hp Verado R outboard engines. Combined with a proven hull design and lightweight carbon-fiber construction by the experts at Wally and Ferretti Group, the result is impressive: high top speeds and very low fuel consumption for extended range. Sea trials have achieved a pace in excess of 54 knots and a cruising speed of 36 knots with a range of 340 nautical miles.

With such outstanding performance, the wallytender48X perfectly complements the dynamic boating lifestyle of discerning Middle Eastern owners. Day trips or longer cruises are within easy reach, while the spacious and elegant lower deck suite – featuring carbon-fiber flooring with teak furniture and panels – ensures comfort is never compromised. With tilting outboards, the draft of the wallytender48X can be reduced to just 70cm (2’4”) when the engines are raised, suiting it to inshore use.

Beyond the performance benefits of outboard engines, the wallytender48X is also lightweight and easy to maintain. With the engines positioned outside the hull, a large aft storage space is freed up, and – as with the inboard model – the wallytender48X features user-friendly joystick controls for easy docking.

A common challenge with outboard boats is stern access, as banks of motors often hinder boarding or water entry. This is not an issue with the wallytender48X: Wally has ingeniously split the four engines and moved them outboard, allowing for central positioning of the retractable hydraulic boarding passerelle/swim ladder.

Wally is proud of what it has achieved with this outboard version of the wallytender48, maintaining her strong aesthetic identity and the many practical features found in the inboard model, all while catering to clients who prefer the outboard experience, offering top speeds and high-performance levels. The wallytender48X is making its debut in the Gulf region, yet it is ideally suited to both the local yachting culture and marine conditions.

NEW RIVA ISEO SUPER

TH NEW STYLE OF ELEGANCE

'The new version of the famous 27-foot runabout was given her world premiere at BOOT Düsseldorf 2025'

Riva Iseo Super
Sarnico, February 6th, 2025

The new Riva Iseo Super, which made her world premiere at BOOT Düsseldorf 2025, embodies the perfect combination of heritage and innovation. Evolving the successful model launched in 2011, this 27-foot runabout features Riva's hallmark timeless elegance, combined with technology and style solutions that refresh the legend.

The result of the same innovative design approach that created Riva El-Iseo – the brand’s first full electric boat presented exactly a year ago at BOOT Düsseldorf 2024 – the new Iseo Super enriches the range of open yachts under 9 metres, offering engine solutions to meet the needs of every owner: from the silent elegance of electric motors to the power of internal combustion propulsion systems.

Like all Riva creations in the last thirty years, the new Riva Iseo Super is penned by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, the studio that exclusively designs all Riva yachts, working in partnership with the Strategic Product Committee chaired by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

Iseo Super expresses the refinement running through all Riva models, from the most compact runabouts to 70-metre-plus superyachts: every line and detail reflect master craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, from the high-gloss mahogany covering the deck and stern platform to the sophisticated new hull colour, Vulcan Grey, which joins the brand’s exclusive palette.

An elegant 27-foot (8.24 m) runabout with a maximum beam of 2.5 m, the new Riva Iseo Super has the signature style features of the models to which the brand owes its iconic status – such as the high-gloss striped mahogany treated with 24 coats of varnish, the steel detailing in the form of the side grilles, and the aquamarine waterline – in perfect harmony with various new developments that improve both on-board liveability and cruising performance. The windscreen has been completely renewed and is now produced with the typical counter-curvature that has become one of the most recognisable features of Riva boats, giving the yacht a dynamic, spirited look.

The design of the helm station is modern and linear too, with a 9-inch Volvo Penta chartplotter display for navigation, placed in a symmetrical position between the analogue helm to the right and the storage compartment to the left; the helm is also available in a digital version with a 12-inch Böning screen. Under the storage compartment – which also contains a USB socket, an SD reader and the sound system control panel – is the drawer fridge, while there’s a large locker for the fenders under the plotter.

The new features in the cockpit are a completely redesigned dinette that’s larger than the previous version, thanks to clever optimisation of the space behind the helm station: the new design features an elegant U-shaped sofa, upholstered in waterproof Sky fabric coordinated with the hull colour chosen by the owner. The sofa is integrated with an electric up-down table that can be hidden under the cushions when not in use, becoming an integral part of the seat. On the opposite side, another storage area maximises the space available. Behind the sofa back is the stowable hand-operated bimini top, while the engine room is in the stern under the sunpad upholstered in the same Sky fabric as the dinette cushions.

Riva Iseo Super retains the traditional sterndrive propulsion system and is fitted with a hydraulic gearbox that improves the engine sound by eliminating noisy gear changes. In the standard version, Riva Iseo Super is equipped with a Volvo Penta D4-300A engine – a diesel unit delivering 300 HP (221 kW) at 3,500 rpm – paired with an Aquamatic DP-I duoprop sterndrive that powers Iseo to a cruising speed of 33 knots and a top speed of 38 knots (preliminary data). Two optional petrol engines are available as an alternative: Volvo Penta V8 350 CE 355 HP (261 kW) at 5,800 rpm – paired with a high-performance DP-S duoprop sterndrive (cruising speed 36 knots and top speed 41 knots), and Volvo Penta V8 305 HP (224 kW) at 5,800 rpm – also with the DP-S duoprop sterndrive, which complies with Lake Constance requirements and powers Iseo Super to a cruising speed of 33 knots and a top speed of 38 knots (preliminary data). For maximum stabilization underway, Riva Iseo Super has autotrim control for the sterndrive engine and a Zipwake interceptor for trim correction.

Another innovative solution available to owners of this fantastic runabout is the boat cover based on automotive design to ensure maximum hull protection. The cover is made from double-layer waterproof technical material, which has an external layer to protect against the weather and a breathable wool inner layer that absorbs moisture and keeps the boat in optimum conditions when moored.

DOUBLE WIN FOR CUSTOM LINE

BOAT INTERNATIONAL DESIGN & INNOVATION AWARDS 2025

''Best Interior Design - Motor Yachts 499GT and below, 40m and above - Outstanding Exterior Design - Motor Yachts 24m to 41.9m'

Double win for Custom Line at the Boat Intl
Kitzbühel, February 3, 2025

Custom Line ends 2024 with two new launches, taking the total to 18 yachts entering the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona over the last 12 months.

It was an important year full of significant achievements, the standouts being the debuts of Custom Line 50 – the first all-aluminium 50-metre displacement superyacht and the new Custom Line flagship, marking the brand’s entry into the metal yachts segment under 500 GT – and Custom Line Navetta 38, the new made-to-measure displacement yacht with a gross tonnage of 299 GT. The first two examples of the two models were launched in January and November respectively.

With eleven launches in the Navetta line, six in the planing line and the first launch in the aluminium superyacht line, the shipyard confirms its skill at interpreting the vision of diverse owners, combining design and construction quality, personalisation, craftsmanship, reliability, strong design, recognisability and technological innovation.

A new Custom Line Navetta 30 was launched on December 4 during a ceremony attended by the enthusiastic owner family, who shared the excitement of the event with the entire project management team and the yard’s employees and craftsmen. The 22nd hull in the Custom Line Navetta 30 displacement line is a joint design effort by the Product Strategy Department and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, working with ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel for the interior design and architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior styling. Strategic consulting for the interior design was provided by Custom Line Atelier, which tailored the project to the stylistic preferences of the owner from the EMEA area.

With a length of 28.43 m and a beam of 7.3 m, the yacht delivers ambitious volumes while continuing to convey a sense of lightness and cruising elegance. Custom Line Navetta 30’s distinctive features of timeless aesthetics and forward-thinking styling are expressed in her sleek and dynamic exterior styling, pointed up by the extended sweep of horizontal lines towards the bow.

The concept of this yacht embodies the idea of an authentic seaside villa that’s designed to welcome the whole family and has a special focus on its youngest members. Every stylistic and formal detail aims to achieve the perfect balance between functionality, practicality and aesthetic refinement. The three-deck layout not only amplifies the on-board spaces but also translates into settings with a versatile and harmonious organisation focused on socialising, relaxation and fun. The main deck salon, for example, is the ideal place for welcoming guests and stands out for the formal elegance of the leather detailing, while the salon on the upper deck, featuring more versatile materials and vibrant details like the yellow beanbag chairs, offers an informal atmosphere intended to create moments of freedom and carefree family time. In the interiors, the colour palette pairs pale, neutral shades, including white, beige and brown, with pastel accents provided by the maritime-themed decorative cushions. The furnishings feature fine materials such as Silk Georgette marble in the owner’s area, Calacatta marble used for various freestanding elements, and nubuck leather.

The year was brought to a close by the launch of the 33rd Custom Line Navetta 33 on December 16. It was both an exclusive and inclusive celebration, shared by the entire owner family based in the EMEA region – children, grandchildren and friends – with the Custom Line team in an atmosphere of joy and involvement. The new displacement line hull is the result of collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee – which handled the exterior styling – and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, whose architects and designers created the interiors. The design team was also guided by expert input from Custom Line Atelier, which oversaw the family’s requests from start to finish and turned them into unique solutions. They include the introduction, for the first time on a Custom Line Navetta 33, of vertical oak ribbing on certain surfaces, including the main salon wall and the bed headboard in the master cabin. In both cases, the vertical spacing is tighter in the first half before opening out in the second, adding a sense of three-dimensionality and dynamism to the spaces.

The owner’s requests revealed her preference for the colour sage green, chosen as a leitmotiv throughout the yacht and interpreted in multiple shades, including thyme green and jade green, which permeate the boat with a fresh, contemporary feel. It’s a preference that can also be seen in the master bathroom, which features a generously sized shower cubicle clad in renowned Irish Green marble, as well as two basins sculpted from a single block of Crema Delicato milled marble and positioned on a long countertop with a built-in drawer unit, expressing a refined bespoke feel that combines grandeur and class. The sophisticated simplicity and formal clarity of the interiors is conveyed by juxtaposing dense, muted colours – such as beige and clay – with intimate shades including the dark brown of the American walnut flooring. An emblem of authentic refinement and light-touch sophistication, this yacht – 33 m long and 7.52 m in the beam – has a majestic, elegant profile.

Designed primarily for chartering, she offers a personalised experience with numerous additional spaces and functional details for the utmost comfort. The solutions devised to comfortably accommodate large parties of guests include generous tables that optimise the convivial areas, storage units built into the walls, pullman beds in the guest cabins, additional cocktail bars on the sun deck, and other bespoke features.

PRESTIGIOUS MOTORBOAT  AWARDS 2025

'Praised by the jury as a “beautifully designed and masterfully crafted yacht'

Riva 82 Diva wins Best Custom Yacht of the Year Award
Düsseldorf, January 24, 2025

Riva 82' Diva is in the spotlight after winning “Best Custom Yacht of the Year” prize at the prestigious Motor Boat Awards, organised by Motor Boat & Yachting during BOOT Düsseldorf. This major prize confirms the success of the latest model in Riva’s flybridge range, a yacht as beautiful as she is innovative, and the new concept of interior and exterior spaces she embodies.

Like all recent Riva yachts, Riva 82’ Diva is penned by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, working in partnership with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. With a length overall of 25.29 metres and a maximum beam of 6.08 metres, 82’ Diva offers a new take on the interiors, which feature new design solutions that combine function, comfort and style, such as the stunning salon, where the living and dining areas are separated optically by a play of different heights that bestows intimacy without ever actually dividing the two settings, and the large windows offering an unbroken view of the horizon.

Praised by the jury as a “beautifully designed and masterfully crafted” yacht, Riva 82’ Diva is a genuine masterpiece of style, offering unforgettable moments at sea thanks not least to the exclusive and elegant convivial spaces. The features the jury appreciated most include the unprecedented size of the outdoor areas, designed to offer guests exclusive contact with the water and let them rediscover the pleasure in every moment on board. The spacious lounge area forward, the generous and innovative stern beach club – featuring two large wings that swing down to create lateral terraces, increasing the width of the area by over 3 metres – and the magnificent 40-square-metre flybridge, one of the most spacious in the category, ensure a cruising experience characterised by total comfort, conviviality and relaxation.

With this award, Riva 82’ Diva confirms that the model sets a benchmark for flybridge yachts in this category, achieving the perfect balance between function, comfort and design.

Ancona, January 23, 2025

CRN’s new full-custom pleasure vessel with a displacement hull, built from steel and aluminum, was launched today in Ancona at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard, where M/Y Amor à Vida touched the water for the first time during an emotion-filled private launch ceremony.

Previously known as Project MARANELLO, M/Y Amor à Vida, 67.55 metres in length overall, 11.80 metres in the beam and 1450 GT, combines CRN’s know-how and the shipyard’s design and build quality with the creativity of Nuvolari Lenard for the exterior styling and interior design of this superyacht.

Brokerage house Moran Yacht & Ship has played a key role as the owner’s representative and project management team for the customer. This role has continued throughout all stages of construction, from technical inspection and approval to project management activities and on-site supervision and coordination support for external contractors.

The result is a fully bespoke 67-metre steel and aluminium yacht spanning 6 decks and accommodating up to 12 guests and 17 crew.

The exterior styling of M/Y Amor à Vida is sleek, taut, sweeping and powerful - a distinct stylistic identity that fully embraces the owner’s specific requirements and embodies his vision and lifestyle.

The yacht is fitted with a state-of-the-art hybrid propulsion system that increases the fuel efficiency of both the main engines and the generators and improves guests’ comfort while underway. A heat recovery system is also installed to optimize hot water management for the pools and plumbing system, reducing energy impact and costs while ensuring fast and efficient service.

Work will continue in the coming months on interior and exterior outfitting, as well as on testing and sea trials through to handover to the customer, which is scheduled for spring.

NEW FERRETTI YACHTS 940 LAUNCHED

THE WIDE BODY YACHT WHICH COMBINES SPACIOUSNESS AND SOPHISTICATION

''share festive moments and relax with guests while enjoying the sea to the fullest'

New Ferretti Yachts 940 launched
Forli, Jan 20, 2025

The first unit of the brand new Ferretti Yachts 940 was launched last January 15 at the Cattolica shipyard. The boat will remain in Italian waters, testifying to the strategic role of the domestic market for Ferretti Group.

The yacht, best thought of as a 'seagoing home’, turns every journey into an unforgettable experience. The new model is in fact the perfect blend of design and spaciousness, somewhere to share festive moments and to relax with guests while enjoying the sea to the fullest.

With a length overall of 28.97 metres (95ft 1in) and a maximum beam of 6.78 metres (22ft 3in), this first widebody yacht in the range stands out for the five-cabin layout – with the master cabin positioned on the main deck – the outstandingly versatile exterior spaces and the incredible view out over the water through floor-to-ceiling glazed surfaces.

Ferretti Yachts 940 is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee chaired by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The exterior styling is by Filippo Salvetti and the interiors are by design firm Ideaeitalia.

Starting from the stern on the main deck, the cockpit of the first unit is furnished with freestanding furniture and offers incredible versatility of use. The glass parapet, also a feature of Ferretti Yachts 1000, establishes continuity with the stern platform, creating the perfect area for sharing experiences with family and friends.

The almost 30-square-metre salon, entered through large sliding glass doors, is decorated on this unit in the brand’s Classic mood, which taps into warm, earthy elements and is designed to bring the owner the pleasure of an elegant, inviting and uncluttered environment.

The area contains a large living space, furnished on this first unit with an L-shaped sofa facing a storage unit and a sliding TV, plus a centrally positioned dining table seating eight. The hallway forward of the galley leads to the new Raised Pilot House, featuring a single-piece windscreen with no central pillar for better visibility.

The main deck is also home to the full-beam owner’s suite, which takes full advantage of the widebody hull concept and, on this unit, features the use of prized Silver Roots marble (for the desktop on the starboard side, on the forward wall behind the sofa, and in the bathroom); the full-beam bathroom is in the bow.

The extensive glazing is a striking new feature, including a floor-to-ceiling window in the dining area that floods the space with natural light, thanks in part to an external parapet designed so that it doesn’t obstruct the view. In this first unit, the floor-to-ceiling glazing features a sliding door to provide direct access to the starboard side walkway.

The outdoor area forward contains a large sunpad, a generous C-shaped sofa and a table. The wide walkways provide easy access to the mooring area.

The more than generously sized flybridge is the perfect place to share al fresco lunches and dinners while revelling in the beauty of the marine environment.

The guest area on the lower deck provides a total of three VIP cabins and one guest cabin with sliding beds.

The first unit launched is fitted with two 2000 mhp, MAN V12 engines, reaching a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots (preliminary data).

MASTERPIECE OF MARINE ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING AND QUALITY

'' Full-Aluminium Displacement Hull under 500GT'

Custom Line 50 first aluminium 1
Ancona, December 18, 2024

Custom Line 50, the first 50-metre superyacht built entirely from aluminium, is the new displacement flagship and makes her debut in the metal yachts segment under 500 GT.
The superyacht, 49.90 m long and 9.60 m in the beam, extends across four decks and introduces some innovative construction and design solutions, such as the owner’s suite in the bow on the upper deck, reserved exclusively for the owner, and the beach club with infinity pool integrated into the main deck, a unique 120-square-metre convivial space in close contact with the water.
The liveable spaces on board cover over 800 square metres, of which 324 square metres of exteriors. The generous volumes, usually found on much larger boats, are the result of careful development to deliver maximum on-board privacy for owner and guests.
With a draught of 2.2 metres, the yacht is ideal for cruising and mooring in shallow waters such as those in the Caribbean.

The project is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard Engineering Department, based like the shipyard in Ancona. Custom Line 50’s exteriors are designed by architect Filippo Salvetti and the project architecture and interiors – completely made to measure – are by Studio ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The yard’s project management team, made up of engineers, architects and technical specialists, walked the customer through the entire process, from signing the contract through to handover, playing a strategic role in implementing the customer’s vision. The result is a project permeated by refinement and sophistication, as well as pointing up one of the brand’s core values, the reimagination of marine tradition through a contemporary lens.

The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in a master suite and in four cabins on the lower deck. Another five cabins are designed to ensure maximum comfort for the nine crew members.

The exterior styling is inspired by a timeless classical design language, with clean, simple lines and a horizontal sweep that gives the yacht a sporty character but without compromising the sense of harmony.

Custom Line 50 redefines the standards of yacht design by introducing an unprecedented feature for the segment: a deck devoted entirely to the owner, something usually found only on ships over 60 metres long. The layout of the new flagship is designed around the 75-square-metre master suite. Positioned in the bow on the upper deck and bathed in light thanks to the generous full-height windows that wrap around the front of the cabin, it offers a spectacular view forward and direct access to a private terrace. The owner is ensured maximum privacy – a key feature of this megayacht – by the strict separation of guest and crew flows. An in-depth study of the yacht’s volumes and the expert subdivision of the interiors guarantees maximum comfort on board.

Another distinctive feature of Custom Line 50 is the interconnection between the spaces – clear to see in all the guest areas and especially in the main and upper deck lounges – which is enhanced by the extensive use of mirrored surfaces combined with large, curved windows designed exclusively for this boat. This innovative design creates a spatial dematerialisation effect and conveys the feeling of being on an island surrounded by the seascape.

The generous outdoor spaces give each of the yacht’s decks its own personality, forming a series of sea-view terraces that can be enjoyed at all times of day thanks to the shade provided by the extensive exterior deck space. Seamless fluidity between the outdoor spaces on Custom Line 50 is expressed to perfection in the innovative two-level beach club.

The interiors, developed around a concept based on sophisticated detailing, stand out for the innovative and refined use of materials to point up the concept of three-dimensionality, giving the spaces a strong sense of materiality. A tangible example of this approach is the woodwork in the living areas and cabins, where Canaletto walnut, with its textured surfaces, gives a sense of dynamic movement to the flowing cabinetry and interior walls and is in contrast with the lightness of the extensive glazing. The same material language can be seen in the ivory-coloured wallpaper used for the staircases, featuring a play of vertical and horizontal textures, and in the Crema d’Orcia marble cladding all the bathroom walls.

The harmonious aesthetic unifying colours, textures and materials creates a distinctive fluid design that spans all the decks, reflecting the expertise and know-how of the yard’s craftsmen.

Warm, intense and embracing colour tones such as walnut and natural leather – used both for the finishings and detailing of the custom-designed furnishings – permeate the entire project and are paired with a palette of neutral colours including ivory, beige and white for the lacquering on the ceilings and light grey for the finishings, furnishings and custom textured fabrics. The choice of natural materials such as Calacatta Oro and Crema d’Orcia marble is in line with the soft tones of the interiors.

MAIN DECK

The main deck on Custom Line 50 is characterised by total integration between interiors and exteriors and the innovative concept behind the outdoor spaces, where the main feature is the two-level beach club at the water’s edge. This area is connected to and perfectly integrated with the stern cockpit on the main deck by a spectacular infinity pool, with a large glass wall providing visual continuity between sea and pool.

Fitted out as an elegant private lounge with a sun pad area, this versatile 30-square-metre space is ideal for relaxation and entertainment. Everything is designed to offer an experience of total well-being in perfect harmony with the seascape, creating an ambience where elegance and functionality join forces.

A ‘drawer’ transformer converts the beach club into a full-fledged beach area with direct access to the water. Designed to guarantee maximum safety, the two transom sections on either side of the transformer fold down to provide more space and can be closed when underway to form a safety barrier.

The near 65-square-metre cockpit is completely open towards the beach club and fitted with exclusive lounge seating that amplifies the multi-functionality of this ambience. The external area between the cockpit and the pool features a bar that acts as a separator between the lounge and the aft sun pad area.

A sliding glazed surface leads into the elegant, light-filled main salon, an open space designed for conviviality and a significant addition to the yacht’s social areas. Wherever you go, extensive glazing floods the ambience with light, intensifying the sensory connection with the sea and amplifying the perception of openness.

On entering the salon, the generous living area characterised by its sophisticated and functional design features two large, comfortable sofas flanked by leather armchairs and pouffes. The ambience is further enhanced by refined side tables, with white Calacatta marble tops adding a touch of luxury and sophistication, and a 55-inch TV that drops down from the ceiling, controlled by the audio/video home automation system.

The salon opens onto a refined dining area dominated by a striking white Calacatta marble oval table seating up to 12. Here too, reflective glazing ensures unimpeded views of the seascape, making the dining experience truly special.

Further along this deck is the lobby, where a beautifully designed staircase is the aesthetic and functional point of connection between the lower and upper decks. The staircase walls are covered in ivory coloured wallpaper designed by Phillip Jeffries, featuring an alcantara texture with a noise-reducing design and added value in the form of high-precision detailing. Connecting the main deck with the upper and lower decks, the staircase has a handrail with a wound leather cover designed by Antonio Citterio.

This area also contains the guest lift, which connects the three interior decks – and optionally the sun deck too – and is clad in reflective surfaces and the same wallpaper as the staircase.

Moving forward, we come to the captain’s cabin and then the helm station on the raised mezzanine level, a solution that improves the field of vision and also frees up space on the main deck. The generous glazed surfaces here offer optimal visibility for precision manoeuvring, ensuring both safety and control. On the port side, on the other hand, are the pantry and galley, both directly accessible from the dining area.

The forward bow section on the main deck provides an open-air stowage space for a rescue tender and two jet skis, complete with a davit for easy handling and launching operations.

UPPER DECK

In the forward section of the upper deck, the owner’s apartment covers 75 square metres and guarantees an experience of absolute comfort and privacy. The panoramic light-filled cabin has extensive glazing to offer breathtaking sea views and opens onto a private terrace, creating a setting bathed in natural light and in perfect continuity with the seascape. The double sliding glass doors in the bow, paired with flush floors, lead to an outdoor lounge furnished with small sofas, while a few steps lead to an additional solarium with a unique view over the water and total privacy from the sun deck and the yacht’s other areas.

The double bed, characterised by a leather headboard with visible stitching, is centrally positioned in the suite, both ensuring privacy and elegantly separating the night area from the walk-in closet, bathrooms and entrance, all without compromising the owner’s privileged 180-degree view of the open sea. The more striking items of free-standing furniture include a full-custom desk on the starboard side and a sophisticated white daybed on the port side.

The ambience has a coordinated aesthetic based on a uniform palette of materials that exude elegance and harmony, such as Canaletto walnut, leather and white lacquering, and on three-dimensional cabinetry aligned stylistically with the rest of the yacht.

The owner’s en suite bathroom, on the starboard side on entering the suite, consists of two rooms connected by a large walk-in shower. The Crema d’Orcia marble walls with vertical three-dimensional vibration ribbing, the Crema d’Orcia marble flooring, and the extensive glazing with curved steel detailing flood the setting with light.

Further aft are the stairway and lift connecting the various decks. The day head is on the port side, with the pantry opposite. The next area is the sky lounge, featuring plenty of reflective surfaces that highlight the sense of openness. This space has a large sofa that extends the entire length of the salon and a 77-inch Bang & Olufsen TV contained in an elegant walnut and black aluminium unit featuring superior audio performance.

The generous outdoor lounge area (60 m2) on the aft upper deck, beyond the sliding glass doors, is furnished with elegant sofas around a coffee table. This space leads to the ‘al fresco dining’ area, which is ideal for enjoying conviviality while immersed in the beauty of the surrounding seascape and contains a full custom table seating 12 plus a storage unit with a contemporary design.

SUN DECK

The 106-square-metre sun deck offers outstanding versatility in multi-functional spaces ideal for relaxation and entertainment. Aft, a hydromassage pool with glass panels on both sides is the ideal place to contemplate the sea view, creating a feeling of weightlessness. Beside it, a sophisticated sunbed provides an elegant and functional transition between the relaxation area and the lounge. The spaces here are furnished with large sofas and a unit with an up-and-down mechanism that conceals the TV when not in use. Further along the deck is an American Bar and a barbecue area with tables that can be joined to form a dining table for 12 guests, creating the perfect versatile space for use at any time of day.

The sun deck – accessed either from the guest stairway astern or through a service corridor reserved for the crew – is connected to the upper deck pantry via a hidden stairway incorporated in the bar unit. This arrangement was specially designed to ensure functional separation of the people flows on board, enabling the crew to move around discreetly and offering guests greater privacy, with a solution that meets the aesthetic and practical needs of both.

LOWER DECK

The lower deck is reached by the lift or stairway, both of which lead to the night area lobby, an elegant and functional setting providing access to the four guest cabins. In perfect harmony with the colours and materials of the interiors, this lobby is characterised by warm wood and ivory-coloured wallpaper.

The four guest cabins – two VIP cabins and two Guest cabins in a mirror-image layout – all have private bathrooms and are generously sized (20 m2 for the VIPs and 17 m2 for the Guests) with ceiling heights over 2 m.
Focus on detail is the dominant feature in all these cabins. The sea-facing wall is elegantly clad with walnut veneer from ceiling to floor and opposite it is the bed’s leather headboard, which covers the entire length of the wall and is enriched by decorative stitching and pockets that act as mini bookshelves. The wall with access to the bathroom, on the other hand, is covered in a pale, luminous wallpaper with an attractive vertical pattern.

The bathroom too is in line with the material concept applied to the interiors as a whole, as seen in the brushed walnut floor and the vertical three-dimensional vibration ribbing on the Crema d’Orcia marble walls, which give the ambience its light and dynamism.

The lower deck also has a crew area designed for maximum liveability and functionality. The spacious crew quarters contain four double cabins with private bathroom, plus a separate area with a service pantry and a laundry, resulting in an efficient and well-organised space.
Another unique feature of the design is the layout of the crew area, which has been moved entirely forward and connects the crew area, galley, helm station and captain’s cabin in just two decks. This ensures greater separation between guests and crew and smoother on-board operations.

The stern is home not only to the engine room but also the main garage, which has its entrance on the starboard side of the hull and is designed to accommodate a 6.25-metre Williams tender. The launch and haul-up system is easy to operate and efficient, offering the utmost in practicality.

PROPULSION AND TECHNOLOGY

Ideal for covering long distances with reduced fuel consumption and category-beating performance, Custom Line 50 is fitted with two CAT C32 ACERT engines producing 1,081 kW. They drive the yacht to a top speed of 16 knots, with a range of about 4,500 nautical miles at an economy cruising speed of 10 knots.
The yacht has been designed with the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, delivering a 70% reduction in NOx emissions, and is IMO Tier III-certified, in line with Ferretti Group’s design vision, with its strong focus on respecting the environment and on sustainable development.
The generously sized engine room features excellent ergonomics and ensures good access to the engines and on-board systems. It can be accessed directly and comfortably from the cockpit by means of a staircase on the port side.

Custom Line 50 features technology of the very highest quality, involving the integration of new components and on-board systems, including AMS stern mechanical movement systems and CMC Marine stabilization systems (4X Zero Speed Electric Fins) for maximum on-board comfort both when cruising and at anchor, and high-efficiency air conditioning systems.
The wheelhouse on the mezzanine between the main and upper decks is designed to high standards of ergonomics, functionality and technological innovation. The helm station also features integrated management of the propulsion system, navigation functions and on-board monitoring, with an easy-to-use advanced interface developed with Team Italia consisting of a central 44-inch display and two 24-inch side monitors.

The hull built entirely from lightweight aluminium alloy was developed using Computation Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to optimise hydrodynamic performance. The result is a sleek, efficient design that reduces drag, improves stability and increases overall performance, ensuring a smooth ride and low fuel consumption even in rough seas. Custom Line 50 is designed to minimise environmental impact thanks to her reduced weight, advanced hydrodynamics and the use of recyclable materials on board.

This yacht offers a unique combination of personalisation, performance and efficiency, establishing a new benchmark in the industry and offering the exclusivity of a custom build with the cost-effectiveness of a semi-series production model.

More than a superyacht, Custom Line 50 is a statement of forward-thinking design, engineering excellence and conscious exclusivity. A harmonious combination of innovation and craftsmanship, this yacht sets a new standard in the category.
