RIVA 50M SUPERYACHT ON TARGET
The first Riva 50m Superyacht is now in advance stages of construction and said to be on target for delivery early next year. Developed in collaboration with Officina Italian Design, the new Riva 50m is set to become the flagship of the Riva fleet, a Superyacht Series that will ultimately extend up to 90m.
Reminiscent of the Carvelle line of Carlo Riva motor yachts from the 1960’s / 70’s, the Riva 50m adds a contemporary perspective to this classic motor yacht. “The first line will clearly draw inspiration from the yachts created by Carlo Riva in the early 1970s” said Mauro Micheli, co-founder of Officina Italian Design, “the second will feature an unusual design, with stylistic features that will clearly convey Riva’s unmistakable style, together with a strong, distinctive character."
This 4 deck semi-custom yacht is constructed from light aluminium alloy and features accommodation for 12 guests in five cabins, including a main deck master suite, with interior design created to the owner’s requirements. In a ground-breaking move, the galley has been situated on the lower deck with a uniquely positioned dumb waiter to enable discreet and unobtrusive service to all four decks.
The Riva 50m also features a Jacuzzi on the sundeck, a stern garage suitable to house a Williams Dieseljet 625 tender and an ample foredeck storage area to fit a pair of Jet Skis.
