CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 38 - A DAZZLING LAUNCH SETS SAIL
THE WATERS OF ANCONA WELCOMED THE 3RD HULL OF THE STUNNING CUSTOM LINE NAVETTA 38
'another victory for Custom Line and the Ferretti Groups' renowned Superyacht Yard'
![]() |
Ancona, July 17, 2025
With superb dimensions of 38.76 meters in length and a beam of 8.00 meters, the Custom Line Navetta 38 embodies sophistication and style. It merges the visionary insights from Ferretti Group's Product Strategy and Engineering teams with the artistic genius of architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior, while the interiors bloom under the creative direction of ACPV ARCHITECTS, led by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel.
From the very start, the owner family immersed themselves in the process, appreciating the meticulous attention to detail that defines the Custom Line ethos. Their vision transformed into reality through the dedicated efforts of Custom Line Atelier, where architects collaborated closely with the family to curate a space that reflects their unique taste. The goal was clear: to create a sanctuary that harmonizes sophisticated design with comfortable liveability while ensuring a seamless connection to the water. One of the standout features is the Main Deck lounge, where striking mirror panels adorn the ceiling, creating an illusion of expansive space while preserving the grace of traditional aesthetics. These thoughtful design elements—coupled with generous floor-to-ceiling windows—invite natural light to dance through the interiors, establishing a flawless transition between the indoor and outdoor realms. The galley, too, became a canvas for creativity and functionality, as the owners envisioned it as a vibrant gathering space. With deep cupboards designed for efficiency yet harmonizing with the space’s beauty, this area radiates warmth and inviting charm, enhanced by the captivating views that the extensive glazing provides.
Crafted to accommodate large groups with ease, the Custom Line Navetta 38 shines through its choice of materials—durable yet elegant. The Botticino Semi Classico marble in the master bathroom exemplifies this ethos, blending understated luxury with unmatched resilience. The interior design strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and sophistication, showcasing a harmonious palette of beiges complemented by striking mocha and brown accents. Natural materials such as teak, oak, and leather enrich the ambiance, while soft, luminous wallpaper graces the walls, creating an environment that exudes understated refinement.
As the Custom Line Navetta 38 embarks on her maiden voyage, she is not just a yacht; she is a testament to the art of craftsmanship and a celebration of personalized luxury, destined to create unforgettable moments on the water.

THE NEW RIVA EL-ISEO
RIVA EL-ISEO: THE 1ST MODEL IN RIVA'S E-LUXURY SEGMENT
Full electric sustainability and unmistakable style.
![]() |
Like all Riva creations, the new Riva El-Iseo was penned by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, working in partnership with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
“Riva’s great strength, right from the outset, has been its ability to rise to and win the design challenges faced over the years, by combining its craftsmanship and know-how with new technologies. Riva El-Iseo isn’t only the world’s most beautiful full-electric powerboat, but also proof that investing in research and development opens up new paths to sustainability and environmental awareness,” explained Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “Riva El-Iseo is also the first model in its segment to obtain Rina Category B certification, a further endorsement that Riva is at the forefront of yachting safety too.”
Riva El-Iseo is a 27-foot (8.40 m) runabout with a maximum beam of 2.5 m and elegant and sophisticated lines, just like the much-loved and versatile Iseo from which it inherited the hull design. On board, Riva’s two souls are clear to see: the stylistic details typical of boats that have made the brand famous all over the world, such as the polished mahogany of the deck and stern platform, the stainless steel detailing of the lateral grills and the refined sky fabric cushions, go hand in hand with the modern and linear design of the bridge, creating a contrast between traditional and contemporary that sums up the very concept of the boat. The deck, cockpit and helm station feature a completely new design, while the colour of the first hull is a novel one for Riva, a California Sky Blue that marries perfectly with the elegant aquamarine beauty line featured on all boats in the Riva range.
Riva El-Iseo is the first full electric powerboat to obtain RINA B Category certification (boats designed for wind force up to and including 8 and significant wave height of 4 metres and above), which is rarely granted to open type boats on account of both their size and configuration.
PROPULSION
Riva El-Iseo retains the traditional stern-drive propulsion system and has a Parker GVM310 full-electric engine from Parker Hannifin, the world-leading motion and control technology multinational based in the US, offering unprecedented performance in terms of speed and acceleration. With a power output of 250 kW, peaking at 300 kW, the Parker GVM310 delivers a cruising speed of 25 knots and a self-limited top speed of 40 knots, with an acceleration curve significantly steeper than that of a similarly sized boat powered by an internal combustion engine.
For maximum stabilization underway, El-Iseo has autotrim control for the stern-drive engine and a Zipwake interceptor for trim correction.
BATTERIES
El-Iseo is fitted with a high-energy-density lithium battery pack supplied by Podium Advanced Technologies, a leading innovative engineering company specialised in batteries, automotive design and motorsport. More efficient, extremely light and up to 10 times longer-lasting than lead-acid technology, Riva El-Iseo’s 150 kWh, 800 V batteries have two charging modes, normal and fast, for charging from 20% to 80% in 75 minutes. The charging ports are located under the steel grille on the port side. The battery pack has a “Redundant Design Configuration”, with two independent blocks to ensure that the failure of one of the two blocks doesn’t put the operation of the entire pack at risk.
During development, there was a razor-sharp focus on on-board safety and the numerous measures identified during the Risk Assessment also contributed to El-Iseo’s RINA Category B certification. First and foremost, the batteries are sealed and liquid-cooled, the most efficient system for rapid heat transfer. They are also located at the forward end of the engine room under the bimini-top compartment between the dinette and the stern sunpad, ensuring easy access and inspection. Finally, the batteries have extra thermal insulation in the form of technologically advanced cladding inside the GRP panel that provides access to the compartment. This material with excellent fire resistance performance compared to its extremely light weight (only 5 kg) is commonly used in the aerospace industry and consists of fibreglass panels that create an effective thermal shield against flames. A gas sensor is also installed to detect leaks.
DASHBOARD AND CRUISING MODES
The fully digital dashboard has two touch screen displays from which all cruising and on-board system information can be controlled: a 9 or 12-inch Simrad chartplotter and a Böning 12-inch screen that indicate all battery state and cruising mode information. The design of the steering system and its integration with the on-board systems are the work of Xenta.
Riva El-Iseo has three cruising modes with names that pay tribute to tradition and take their inspiration from classical music: Adagio, Andante and Allegro.
Adagio is the ECO mode, designed to optimise cruising performance: maximum speed is 5 knots and acceleration is limited, reducing fuel consumption and maximising range to up to 10 hours of cruising. In Andante mode, cruising speed and acceleration are comparable to a typical yacht of similar length with an internal combustion engine, reaching a maximum planing speed of 25 knots. Allegro is the sport mode, in which the engine is unlimited and El-Iseo can reach a top speed of 40 knots with electrifying acceleration.
To maintain battery life, when the residual charge drops to 20% (a range of about 10 nautical miles), the boat automatically switches to Adagio regardless of the cruising mode selected, allowing the owner to conserve power and safely reach a mooring point or charging station.
Riva El-Iseo is the perfect fit for Ferretti Group’s sustainability path and launches the E-Luxury segment, which isn’t defined only by the type of propulsion, but also by the materials used and the production processes, as well as involving the Group’s suppliers. The new El-Iseo reflects the essence of Riva to perfection, combining the classic stylistic and aesthetic hallmarks of a brand that has made yachting history and constantly striving for innovation by introducing state-of-the-art technology.
Riva El-Iseo unveiled the first prototype in late 2022 at the Monaco Yacht Club, which was followed by complex tests in various conditions and environments, including participation in the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge with the YCM E-Dock and the YCM E-Boat Rally, the nautical endurance event reserved for electric models.

FERRETTI GROUP - NEW PROJECTS/WORLD PREMIERES
FERRETTI GROUP: THE FUTURE OF NAUTICAL EXCELLENCE
World Premieres: Riva El-Iseo, 1st full-electric model in the new E-Luxury segment & wallypower50, versatile & high-speed Wally weekender
![]() |
The Düsseldorf Boat Show, one of the yachting world’s most prestigious events and an excellent showcase for the latest innovations and trends in the industry, provides the backdrop for Ferretti Group’s press conference held today, Saturday January 20, to share the latest news and projects for 2024.
2023 was a particularly important year for Ferretti Group which, after closing financial 2022 with excellent results, completed the dual listing on Euronext Milan following their debut in Hong Kong. Ferretti Group is now a public company in every sense of the term, with over 50% of the share capital traded on the market, supported by qualified Italian and international investors.
“Ferretti Group's 2024 kicks off under the banner of innovation and sustainability, the two main coordinates for the future of yachting. El-Iseo, Riva’s first full-electric powerboat, is proof that the world’s most highly renowned shipyard is also the one that rises to and wins the challenges of today. Here at Düsseldorf, we also presented the world premiere of wallypower50, another groundbreaking addition to the Wally range,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi during the Boot Düsseldorf press conference. “Sustainable development also means expanding our production capacity by creating spaces where people can work in the best possible conditions. With this in mind, in December we officially opened the new area in the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, and we are making investments in the over 70,000 sqm production hub in Ravenna". Ferretti Group’s 2024 has only just begun and promises great things.
As well as seeing the company in an excellent economic and financial situation – as testified by data for the first nine months of 2023, reporting revenues of EUR 856.4 million, up 9.8% on the first nine months the previous year, and adjusted EBITDA of EUR 124.8 million, an increase of 17.7% on the first nine months of 2022 – 2023 was also a year of major new developments in terms of production capacity, with a 20% rise in global surface area as a result of recent redevelopments and acquisitions that added over 425.4 thousand square metres in the first half of 2023 (the total was 355.4 thousand square metres at the end of 2022).
All eyes remain on the upcoming world premieres, starting with: Riva El-Iseo, a fusion of evergreen elegance with latest-generation technology. After the presentation of the prototype in September 2022 at the Monaco Yacht Show, followed by successful completion of a cycle of complex technical and reliability tests, the official version of the first Riva model created for the E-Luxury segment is now ready for sale.
The German boat show also saw the world debut of the new wallypower50. This high-speed model in the wallypower range is also available in an outboard version – the wallypower50X – that has an even higher top speed but without affecting outstanding living comfort. Wally is also presenting a series of new sailing yachts in 2024, with the announcement of two new launches this summer: the wallywind110 cruiser-racer, a perfect combination of bluewater cruiser and high-performance racing yacht, and the wallyrocket51, the one-design pure racer created to be a winner in a wide range of competitions thanks to innovative features, ultra-light displacement and a high-performance hull. Also in the spotlight was the wallywhy range with the latest new model, wallywhy100, which was presented at a private preview in Venice last December and will be on display at the upcoming boat shows.
The main novelty from Ferretti Yachts is the new Ferretti Yachts INFYNITO 80. Part of the innovative and sustainable INFYNITO range, this yacht offers two versions of the flybridge – open or semi-closed – and features versatile spaces. At Pershing, development work continues on the GTX80 project that will join the flagship this year.

RIVA 82’ DIVA: THE FLYBRIDGE THAT MAKES YACHTING DIVINE
THE NEW RIVA YACHT PREMIERED AT THE CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL
“REVOLUTIONIZED ON BOARD SPACES WITH A NEW CONCEPT OF INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR”
![]() |
|---|
La Spezia – 19 September 2023
Enchanting and exclusive even in her name, Riva 82’ Diva stole the show at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival with a stunning world preview that had everyone gasping in admiration. Bewitchingly beautiful and innovative, she rounds off the already sumptuous range of Riva flybridge yachts by adding a new dimension, not only in terms of length but also of a new concept of interior and exterior spaces.
With a length overall of 25.29 m and a maximum beam of 6.08 m, Riva 82’ Diva features restyled interiors and enhanced outdoor liveability, achieving a perfect equilibrium of functionality, comfort and design.
Like its predecessors, this new Riva success is penned by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, founders of Officina Italiana Design, working in partnership with the Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
The agile beauty of Riva 82’ Diva is simply unique. The unmistakable features of her predecessors – such as the superstructure’s low and sporty silhouette, the distinctive shape of the forward windshield and the gleaming stainless steel detailing – work with innovative new solutions like the higher and safer side gunwales with painted composite profiles instead of traditional steel handrails.
The real stars of Riva 82’ Diva are outdoor areas of unprecedented size in this category. These generous spaces designed to put guests in close contact with the sea offer a yachting experience that takes conviviality and relaxation to the next level.
The 40-square-metre flybridge, one of the most generous on a yacht this size, is designed to give each living area its own dedicated space. In the centre, the lounge with a dinette and a large bar unit, personalized according to the owner’s tastes, is protected by a carbon fibre hard top with glass panels. The sun pad forward and another lounging and sunbathing area aft can also be furnished as desired by the owner. At the forward end of the flybridge is also the second pilot station.
The boat’s main attraction though is aft on the main deck: a spacious and innovative beach club featuring two large bulwarks (1.6 m) that swing down to create lateral terraces. This new solution for Riva increases the area’s width by over 3 metres and offers endless opportunities for fun and relaxation. There’s a large sun pad (over 2.5m x 2m) in the centre of the beach club and underneath it a garage that can accommodate a jet tender of up to 3.95 m. Moving towards the centre of the yacht, the raised cockpit fitted with facing sea-view sofas provides a living area of nearly 35 square metres and unprecedented comfort. Forward, guests can relax in a large living area fitted with a forward-facing sofa and sun pad, under which the mooring gear is stored.
Riva 82’ Diva’s interiors are in classic Riva style. They feature highly polished furnishings and contrasting pale and dark colours, as well as introducing new solutions that achieve a perfect blend of design and comfort. Italian walnut or glossy chocolate wenge are the signature wood that set the style of the yacht’s interior, paired with a light-coloured carpet and ceilings clad in white fabric that contrast with the glossy black lacquered furnishings and the black leather, a stand-out decorative feature of the yacht also found in the night area. In the lounge, the living and dining areas are optically separated by being at different heights, creating a sense of intimacy without actually dividing the two spaces: the former is at cockpit level on entering the lounge, while the latter is further forward in a raised panoramic space. Even the stair well connecting to the flybridge is part of the decor thanks to glass walls that dissolve the visual barrier between interior and exterior. The galley at the forward end of the main deck is designed with a sliding window that either closes it off from or opens it out onto the dining area, creating a seamless space. The galley provides direct access to the helm station and the port-side external walkway leading to the forward lounge area.
There are four cabins on the lower deck, all with en suite private bathrooms featuring Corian or Statuarietto marble tops: the full-beam owner’s cabin astern, the VIP cabin forward, flooded with light through the skylight formed by the glass floor of the walkway to the forward lounge area, and two double cabins, providing accommodation for a total of eight guests. The guest cabins are all decorated with signature Riva features plus novel leather elements like the bed headboards, creating an elegant contrast of textures. The crew quarters - two separate cabins with a total of three beds, a bathroom and a laundry station - are amidships and accessed via a dedicated walkway on the side of the superstructure to guarantee complete privacy for both the owner and guests.
The helm station, accessed directly from the galley on the main deck, is designed for optimum visibility and functionality, with a sliding glass partition that gives the captain an excellent view out over the starboard walkway. Blinds can be installed inside the windshield for an even more comfortable onboard experience. The helm station also has an adjustable pilot chair, a feature usually found on larger yachts. Ergonomic and elegant, it features an electro-hydraulic steering system and throttles by Xenta, plus a Simrad navigation system that integrates onboard monitoring with navigation and manoeuvring controls managed via three 16-inch monitors as standard, 19-inch monitors optional. Riva 82’ Diva is also fitted with Humphree dynamic trim interceptors and, optionally, Seakeepers and Sleipner fins to minimize rolling both at anchor and under way.
On the new Riva 82’ Diva, the owner can decide whether to install a pair of MAN V12 1800 engines for a top speed of 29 knots and a cruising speed of 26 or two MAN V12 1900 engines that drive the yacht to a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots (provisional data).
