NEW Mochi Craft Dolphin 74 Cruiser - Lobster Excellence

Spacious, with an innovative layout and total privacy for the owner make the new Mochi Craft flagship an example of unparalleled formal and functional excellence. Mochi Craft presents the new planing line flagship, Dolphin 74' Cruiser, which will be available in late spring and fully-responds to the requests of a demanding clientele seeking excellent conditions in terms of seaworthiness, comfort and stylistic elegance.

The new Dolphin 74' Cruiser, ideal for lengthy, open sea cruises, stands out for unique, innovative features which were unknown to the Lobster segment until now: new, functional solutions and a cutting-edge concept enhance the concept of on-board liveability, fully-expressing the heritage of the shipyard's experience and the Ferretti Group's leadership.

Four distinctive features make this yacht unique:
-the new concept for the flybridge, which extends to cover the entire cockpit and offers new open-air spaces, in perfect harmony with the elegant lines of the Mochi Craft Dolphin fleet;
-the main bridge, split into two comfortable, separate areas - lounge and dining;
-a spacious, separate galley providing access to the crew area, enabling the crew to move freely from the service areas to the garage, through the engine room, thus protecting the owner's privacy;
-a sophisticated, elegant design which brings together history and innovation.

Designed by architect Brunello Acampora from Studio Victory Design, in close collaboration with Norberto Ferretti and the AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) - the Ferretti Group's naval research and design centre - Dolphin 74' Cruiser compounds the experience of the shipyard which invented the Italian-style Lobster Boat. The result is a new generation Lobster Boat which maintains and celebrates Mochi Craft elegance and style, introducing innovative functional and style solutions.

As in true Mochi Craft style, the new Dolphin 74' Cruiser combines the elegant shapes of the hull and the typically maritime taste of the interiors, in which solid teak prevails, with its warm, golden shades. On board, the refined cleats, milled with artisan skill from a single block of steel, and the six colours in which the hull can be chosen confirm a strong vocation for uniqueness. Blue is both the colour the shipyard has chosen to present this new model and the most classical of the colours characterising the world of Lobster Boats - developed in Maine in the 30s and an icon of style still today - confirming that history and innovation can coexist in refined design.

The cockpit is completely shaded by the flybridge, and extremely spacious - as per tradition in Lobster Boats - becoming a multifunctional area featuring a large fixed table, three folding armchairs and a comfortable bench sofa which can be transformed into a sundeck. The highly functional garage can house both a 350cm tender jet and jet ski simultaneously, a unique solution for a 22 metre yacht. Moreover, another large stern area can be created by opening the hatch - measuring a surface area of around 7m2 - which can also serve as a swimming platform and sundeck area. The side walkways running along the 22m length of the yacht, without solutions of continuity, lead from the cockpit to an extremely comfortable area featuring a sundeck for 4 people and a small, integrated sofa.

FLYBRIDGE The new size of the flybridge, with a surface area of 25m2, introduces large areas of liveability, typical of Flybridge yachts, and offers great freedom of movement. The yacht can be steered from the pilot station, guests entertained in the spacious dinette just in front, and those aboard can sunbathe comfortably, at stern.

UPPER DECK The spaciousness and large areas organised with the aim of completely separating the service areas from those of the owner is what immediately strikes anyone entering the day area. This solution ensures the owner total comfort and privacy at any time of day: 20m2 of surface area unfold between the salon, the luncheon area, with a separate galley, pilot station and dinette. The salon, featuring a large sofa which can seat up to 10, forms a lounge area with a coffee table at the centre. Opposite this, there is room for shelving, a corner table and a concealed television, measuring up to 42 inches. Moving towards bow, one enters the luncheon area, furnished with a large table which can seat 8. The furniture fitted behind the table and around this area features large lockers for storing objects or tableware. To the left, the well-equipped galley is completely isolated from the living area by means of a wall with a sliding door. As previously underlined from the galley, the on-board staff can move around comfortably without disturbing the owner and - through a side door - access the external walkway which connects the whole of the deck. They can also access the steering area and the crew cabins through a passage inside the galley itself. The shipyard supplies particularly extensive technological equipment as standard in the helm station: integrated navigation system, HD radar, Gi8 monitoring system with touch screen display, "Autotroll" and "EasiDock" SmartCommand functions. The pilot area is completely isolated by a teak wall with sliding doors and can also be accessed from the living area. Moreover, to starboard it is flanked by a comfortable dinette, particularly suited to enjoying the sea during cruising, beside the captain or owner. Here, the brand new sizes of the windows produced using special crystals with a double curvature and no stanchions are an unmistakeable characteristic of the Dolphin 74' Cruiser. The staircase to the sleeping area in the lower deck is located centrally compared with the control station and dinette.

LOWER DECK The lower deck, isolated and located in an excellent position, features the master suite: 21m², fullbeam and in the centre of the yacht, it ensures total comfort, stability and silence. Two large windows on the surface of the water with portholes which can be opened let huge amounts of natural light into this area; to starboard, passing alongside a small salon furnished with two armchairs and a coffee table, there is access to the spacious walk-in closet, whilst the vanity table, located opposite the bed, is inserted in a low unit which continues for the entire length of the left hand wall, with drawers and large lockers for storing all kinds of items. The head is rationally split into three separate areas, housing two basins, a large shower and services, guaranteeing total privacy and comfort. Proceeding along to the bow, there are the three guest cabins, all with en-suite heads. The VIP cabin, at bow, features a double bed and two large wardrobes. It is lit by large side windows which skim the surface of the water. The double cabin, with parallel beds is located to starboard, whilst the fourth cabin, with a slightly larger than usual single bed, has a large head which can also be accessed from the corridor for any other guests to use. The crew has a large area at its disposal astern, which can be reached from the galley, and provides direct access to the engine room and garage. This extremely comfortable, well-organised area uses the whole width of the hull and is split into four separate areas: a spacious common area with dinette and laundry room, a crew cabin for up to 2 people, a head and another cabin for the Captain's use, a solution which is typical of far larger yachts. A utility room located astern can be accessed either by crossing the engine room or from the stern swimming platform by raising the hatch concealed by the stairway. This room is for storing both diving equipment, and items which are necessary for mooring operations.

PERFORMANCE, STABILITY AND COMFORT The Mochi Craft flagship features twin, last generation 1550 HP MAN Common Rail engines, which drive the yacht to a cruise speed of 28 knots and a top speed of 31.5 (preliminary data). On-board comfort and stability are guaranteed by the Deep V hull, with variable geometry and an average deadrise of 19° with spray rails. Moreover it is possible to install the innovative Mitsubishi ARG Anti Rolling Gyro System gyroscopic stabilizers, exclusive to the Ferretti Group, which provides a reduction of over 50% of roll caused by wave motion both at sea and at anchor.
