The Dolphin 54 looks to be the best of the popular New England lobster boat style range. The cleverly designed interior fits in three double cabins and a crew cabin, achieving this by incorporating the fully equipped galley as part of the saloon on the main deck. The lower deck is entirely devoted to sleeping accommodation with the double master cabin in the bow, a twin cabin to port and a third cabin with the option of a two or three berth layout to starboard. The interior of the 54 is a wonderful mix of traditional and modern that gives the boat a comfortable feel. At sea, the Mochi Dolphin 54 performs beautifully with a top speed of around 32 knots and settling into a comfortable cruise at 28 knots. The design brings together a happy combination of good sea-keeping ability, great accommodation and good looks - all in all, a winning combination.
